Hi
Nice
Heck Yeah!!!
Where's the podcast at
Hi
It was also a "what if" story in early days. It will be interesting to see if they do the cancer storyline in the movie.
Do you not read or hear plot points. There doing the cancer story
They are doing the cancer plot line though I do not know if she'll become the Valkyrie like she did in the comics.
@@mahiyatsafiyullah7103 if valkerie dies or something like that she could become the new valkerie
@@tylerkister4628 well yeah also the Valkyries were an army King Valkyrie could bring them back with Foster as the newest member
@@mahiyatsafiyullah7103 no I'm saying king valkerie dies and Jane takes the name to honor her
Nick Fury whispered..
"Child Support"
The music in this video does not have to go this hard, I love it!!!!!!
she could have been her own unique character, but no she had to be a female thor. fucking eye roll.
And it was an amazing run worth making a movie about
What would have happened if we saw Jane Foster trying to lift Mjolnir during the first Thor movie where Thor was deemed unworthy by Odin during the first Thor movie? Could we see Jane Foster become Mighty Thor without her getting cancer so that she can use Mjolnir as long as she wants, what do think she was like after being exposed to the Reality Stone?
I’m betting she wasn’t worthy back then and a deep seated need to defend others is what made her worthy
Welp, I was wrong. Jane was never worthy. Thor just accidentally enchanted Mjolnir to protect her. Though he didn’t do a good job since it ended up killing her.
1:10 Truly a face worthy of a meme reaction image.
13:54 look how badass Thor looks 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Way better than Natalie Poor-person.
Pretending that Thor was a title that could be passed and not his first name was the dumbest part of that run. Jane becoming worthy of Mjolnir while Thor is away just like Thunderstrike wasn’t a bad idea but it could’ve launched better with a different setup.
Was it really though?
Thor originally was a title before they retconned it.
@@DAREDEVILSHK1 what do you mean by originally? What source are you using? Who was Thor before Thor?
@@andy.jehoshaphat why do you ask? Do you think there was a part that was even dumber?
@@runefire8127 What are you not understanding? Before Marvel retconned Thor he was Donald Blake. Donald Blake was a doctor who found a walking stick, and when he banged it against something, he turned into Thor. Marvel retconned this and changed it so that Donald Blake had always been Thor, but didn't remember due to Odin erasing his memories. My "source" is the literal comics.
Great review! Thx
Real talk: As much as I enjoyed Jane having Thors' powers, I wasn't a fan of her taking his godly givin' name. I've always referred to her as simply Thunder Goddess. Or a new holder of the name Thunderstrike like one of the few good things that came out of that crappy Avengers cartoon in the mid 2010s.
I completely agree. Jane’s name really should’ve been something else.
They tried way to hard to emphasize her as “THOR” that it got ridiculous. Like hell Beta Ray Bill didn’t make an appearance in her book because they were threatened he could take her spotlight. They really shouldn’t have been so defensive with her.
I always refer to her as "Lady Thor".
Yeah I agree! Shows how small minded those writers can rly be sometimes! It's like oh I got his powers so now I'm him gtfoh
It's not that deep... Touch grass.
The background music is like that girl singing ancient chants on AGT. Stunning!!
Very cool. Thank you for the story.
It is powerful twist in the story, an unexpected climax that should be continued and more elaborated in further Marvel comics to come
Speaking of Mjolnir, when are you going to do history of Eric Masterson the Thunderstrike and Beta-Ray-Bill since they're the only people who are not Thor who are worthy of Mjolnir?
What’s the background song in the video? So good
Ngl, the first time i read this issue i'm not a fan of Jane Foster taking Thor mantle because Thor is Thor Odinson only. But when Jane died and gets rewarded and become the Valkyrie, that's when i started to like the story. Because Jane Foster as Valkyrie makes more sense then her becoming Thor. So i'm hoping in the MCU she's not going to be the permanent Thor because you know how MCU rolls.
You see thor yet ??
@@momo23461 no, got no time.
Y'know this was adapted from a "What If" story, right?
Tokenized Thor

@@dannod9961 Thor is a person, not a mantel, a cultural story. @@scottalderson4708 hmmm valid point good sir

So excited next week for Thor: Love and Thunder ❤⚡💪
Imo the best mjolnir is definitely on mcu jave you'll seen how jane used the hammer? She can throw it in pieces and comeback to her in one piece like how cool is that! We all know mjolnir is in pieces and jane can assemble it and disabled it whatever she wants.💯👍
Yes
Could you do a histroy of episode of Gorr the God Butcher
What I never understood is why didn't Odin make another hammer for Foster like he did for Thunderstrike and Beta Ray Bill it just seems like a glaring plot hole for me for this run and especially what happens afterwards
"I am him who speaks while galaxies obey" 🥶
Can you do history of DC's Shining Knight, Cowboy_Vigilante and the Crimson_Avenger along with Marvel's Dreadknight?
If you seen the recent episodes of season 7 of the Flash, can you do history of Impulse, XS, Psych, Fuerza, Steadfast, Chillblaine, Abracadabra, Rainbow Raider, Mirror Master and Top in your next video?
Jesus christ, man.
That's way too many obscure characters, bro.
It’s more better when Captain America held the power of Thor’s hammer. The writers made her impersonate Thor when she held the hammer
Can you do history of the characters mentioned in this video?
really nice
your story with witcher music . works for me
Man that was a good video!!!
Nice
Can you do history of Cyclone, Rhino, Sandman, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with Kurt Connors the Lizard. Also can you do the history of the Flash Villains like Turtle, Magenta, Cobalt Blue, Mirror Master and Top?
My question then is this: what is a Thor? Is it anybody who can wield the hammer? Beta Ray Bill wields a similar hammer but they don't call him or a Thor. And in one of the movies, Odin calls him Thor Odinson(most names with the "son" consonance are of Nordic origin, such as Johnson=son of John). Thor Odinson, Thor, son of Odin. Back to my original, why is she called Thor and Ray Bill isn't?
Thor is Thor. The only Thor. All this other stuff is just shitty writing. Thor isn't a mantel it's his god-damn name
Because it became a mantle during her run as the mighty Thor, she became the new god of thunder.
@@everettjohnson9374 She's a mortal, not a god... she's only getting the power of Thor (ergo she cant be Thor) when she wields mjolnir, she does not become a god.
Do a video on dr. faiza hussain!!! From marvel’s blade!!!!
So I have but 1 question, "In the comics did Lady Thor ever fight Gorr?"
No i think
No, by the time she became thor. Gorr was already dead
How did Jane become Thor? Easy question. Because the writers were told to do it.
Well that’s just lazy writing

Ngl really really really excited for this movie
Maybe Jane might die in the new movie
A girl can dream.
I highly doubt
More likely for Thor to die.
SPOILERS. You guessed correctly. Jane Foster dies at the end of the movie and then is welcomed by Heimdall in Vallhalla.
THE MIGHTYYYYYY THORRRRRR ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Can you do history of Odin, Heimdall, Lady Sif, the Warrior Three, Balder the Brave, Angela, and Beta-Ray-Bill along with the Thor Villains like the Destroyer, Malekith the Accursed, Hela the Goddess of Death, Surtur, the Roxxon_Minotaur, Ulik, Kurse, Amora the Enchantress, Gorr the God Butcher and Mangog?
Speaking of which, she's getting her MCU uniform & T3 skill in Marvel Future Fight's July update, which drops next week!!!
Odin: I guess you are the god of hammers
I can definitely see them bring Jane back as a Valkyrie in the future. Unlike some superheroes there can be more then one Valkyrie to exist in the comics.
Anyone want to tell me what the white triangle means on Thor's chest for his main hero outfit.
How did he get his arm back?
Yeah I liked it
Cancer is killing Jane Foster and there's Deadpool who healing is cancerous 😄
Definitely enjoyed her run as Thor because she was truly relatable and Aaron really wrote her character like so. In fact, my favourite issue was the one that involved a full on confrontation with All-Father Odin and she was able to hold her own against him. Truly epic...👌👌👌
Jason Aaron's Thor run was the stuff of Legends
In love and thunder; Jane wasn’t actually worthy it was Thor enchanting Mjölnir like Odin did to make Mjölnir grant her powers to protect herself, at least that’s what it looked like to me.
Is Jane Foster better as Mighty Thor or as a Valkyrie? Do you think we will see Jane Foster as a Valkyrie in the MCU at the end of Thor Love and Thunder while Rune-King-Thor gets back Mjolnir?
So... the writers before humbled thor by giving him humanity. As for Jane Foster who's a good doctor, the writers of now really thought "we have to humble a good person. By giving her cancer"
That's either horrible or hilarious
the start of the arc reminds me of just by radiohead
Glad to see her in the mcu.
Yeah same been a long time coming but now uts finally happening
I never understood how did she became worthy? Why did the hammer choose her and not other warrior from Asgard or Hero from earth? Its just seems convinient
I’m just glad they didn’t give Jane Foster breast cancer in the MCU. We already saw Peter Quill’s mom die of cancer in the opening of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and that was depressing enough. Although, I think we’ve all gotten use to seeing Natalie Portman with a shaved head when she was in “V for Vendetta”.
Thor can fly without the hammer
could Steve rogers called on the power of Thor in the Endgame movie? and if so, would there be 2 thors ad once?
Definitely loved her run as Mighty Thor they better bring Jane back 😭
Let's hope she returns as Valkyrie then.
Shouldn't have that cancer, that Jane had contacted, gone away the moment Jane lifted up Thor's hammer ? She would've been a demi god and that means she's immortal to any earthly diseases am I right?
You’re absolutely right… but comics. 🤷🏽♂️
I think the cancer didn't go away because IMO, cancer is the overgrowth of cells right? So since cells growing in the body is normal, her transformation and immortality wouldn't see any error in her body. Causing her to die of cancer
@@C41N4 that's true.
He explained it in the video as the comics explain it. Cancer is when cells of the body grow uncontrollably, mostly due to unknown reasons. Because cancer is so inherently aligned with the body itself, the medication being used is technically toxic to the human body (despite it being positively used to combat and defeat cell overgrowth), the body still considers it to be a toxin, hence why vomiting is a major symptom in radiation therapy. Becoming Thor purges her body of toxins, but recognizes her cells as just her cells. So her treatment as all toxins are purged, but her remaining body becomes strong and seemingly just hits pause on her human system.
@@WouldYouKindlyNot if Jane lifted up Thor's hammer, then she must be a demigod, so she's immortal meaning she can't die.
It's such a shame that they're making a movie based on such a disliked story that could only be explained by the very end of its run. If they don't explain how Jane finds Mjolnir in the movie immediately then I have no hope for it. At least this time though Thor won't lose his fucking name and made a complete loser.
Touch grass
@@armandotorres8962 freakish memory is all. As a result a lot of trash stuff came out of this little period across all media.
When are you going to do history of America-Chavez, Speed and Wiccan in honour of the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
Why is there music playing in the back? Kinda hard to listen imo
How does Thor get his arm back?
Magical enchantment/shenanigans I guess
Mighty Thundor...
Feel bad for Thor I mean Mjolnir has been his for thousands of years and for it to just all of a sudden make him unworthy and choose another wielder after that amount of time, must suck man but at least he came to terms with the outcome.
Can I get the superpower of them if I buy these mugs?
Um chapter 9?
But what if I drink solids on a daily basis?? Is there still a cup for me???
Lol
Let's talk about how Mr fantastic, smartest man alive, exposed their most powerful weapon to a unknown foe and then got pulled apart like string cheese
Jane being Thor was much more underwhelming in the movie than I thought it would be maybe if they bring her back as Valkyrie she'll be better. The end credit scene did seem to hint at that being a possibility.
Damn Jane 😓 that sucks
How did Nick Fury a human, crack the code to separating Thor from his hammer 🔨.
I liked Jane's run as Thor, and I'm so STOKED to see her in Thor Love and Thunder!
Sweet I beat another big channel to it....
To explain the #GorrSection of the movie which is a valid question ❓... there's #Purpose through our #suffering. How ❓you might say ❓ Because #YahshuaTheMessiah who the world calls #JesusChrist suffered for the #sins of the #world so that we may be #saved. And through it all kept the #Faith in #Yahweh the Father. It's very easy for a person to say they're #faithful in #God then it is to actually #WalkInFaith with God through the #TrialsAndTribulations of life.
Similar to marriages. Yes, it's easy to say
"I Do" but will you still love me THROUGH sickness and health, the ups and downs and twist and turns that life has to offer. If so, that's true love. Which going back to #Yahshua (Jesus) displayed that same selfless love on calvary's cross when He said, "Forgive them Father for they do not know what they do" end quote. Dying for our sins on the cross, raising from the dead on the 3rd day and ascending to the #Heavens above (#gor/#Thor/#Jane/Eternity and #Valhalla scene) Which in closing signifies - suffer now in FAITH just as Jesus did 2,000 years ago and be #EternallyRewarded later in the #NewEarthState #Heaven. These past couple of comic book movies have been very spiritual lately - #TheBatman with #TheFlood (#NoahsArc) #Eternals with airsham (wrong spelling) about #JudgementDay and now this about #ThePurposeOfGod - #Salvation = #Eternity/#Afterlife which they also depicted beautifully in #FreeGuy at the very end. Because in reality... We are #SpiritualBeings living a (short) #PhysicalExistence on #Earth. And only through Yahweh's (God) #HolySpirit in us (Yahshua The Messiah in you) can we have #EternalLife (now)! Or to paraphrase Hemdeil #WelcomeToValhalla ☺️🙏🙏🙏☺️
