@@santanasanchez5639 more like 20 lmao 🤣 nothing still like this today. The vision of the audio vfx artists was palpable. Along with Avatar, they literally are pioneers in this audio visual story telling scene of today.

Except for the de-aging/deepfake. That was unbearable.
It was behind its time by a decade. There were better VFX in movie that had come out 5 years previous. Amateurs and students were doing better VFX at the time.
You gotta admit, this CGI was fucking amazing for it's time. And, dare I day it, still looks stunning too.
It looks awful. I defy you to tell visually what you're looking at in most of the scenes.

This movie is underrated. Not amazing, but underrated.
Muhammet Gökce I still haven’t watched the first movie, it doesn’t look appealing at all, this stuff though, this does Tron justice, as well as make a great movie
Fun fact: The facial animation tech used for Jeff Bridges was first used in incredible hulk where the makeup used... was green.
It’s come a LONG way since then.
Always the issue with pure cgi movies is in about 5-10 years time your games console can do better, still, great music and action, it all still works on a certain level
It was gutsy move trying to pull off that head-replacement effect with the young version of C.L.U. at that time. Obviously it might be done better now. But it’s still something to admire how DD tried capture all the intricacies of Jeff Bridges’ face and movement of his hair.
So right now, there is a war going on inside my pc...?? What if I cut the power...??

The VFX for Legacy were god awful. "Hey... here's what we got. A ton of fog and rocks. And some pale halogen mall lights thrown in all over the place for good measure." What an ugly movie. The original movie was beautiful and creative, and the remake looked like a boring, kitbashed mess.
