  • One of our customers from www.HowToDrillAWell.com sent back this short clip of them successfully drilling their well. She sent this review along with the video: "We drilled without any problem but are still working on getting the water out... as far as the drilling, it went well. Your video and instructions were complete and easy to follow with my husband and two sons, all with apt skills for something like this, although none had ever attempted drilling a well, doing the project.
They were a bit creative as you suggested with only a few more ideas. At the first, they thought we were hitting one of the huge rocks we have around here but it was gravel instead. We drilled on two days to reach 57 1/2 feet where we stopped, having hit 8 feet of sand and hitting another hard place. They did connect a small pump using a compressor and pumped water for almost an hour after installing the casing. But they are still pondering what to do next... Thank you for your DIY instructions!

Would you consider doing a complete DIY from start to finish, using your tool but also whatever other material that I would need to make my own whole house well?

@@nathanielburson8929 How deep of a well can this actually drill? Will this really drill through rock?

@@blunt3068 I've drilled about 200' several times; I recommend you stick to 100' or less on your first well. Yes, it will drill through rock but expect it to be painfully slow - about 1/2" - 2" per hour. So a bit of rock is fine, a lot is going to be a problem no matter what you do.

No he means a free video ( as in zero cost ) that he can use for only his benefit and disregard your own hard work and efforts
