I love your gunsmithing series. People need to know who these guys are. Keep doing the Lord's work.
Seriously. Amen.
This is true American spirit of manufacturing.
I called this guy out of the blue with questions about how to handle an issue with a Saiga. Dude took a solid 10-15 minutes out of his day to explain everything to me in detail. Rock solid.
Hmmm, I wonder if he could fix my fugged up AKS-74u parts kit lol. Seems like a cool guy that I'd feel good giving money to.
Edit: NM lol
he'll replace your russian parts and say he misplaced them and give you Bulgarian parts , heck might even use USA parts now that usa krink parts flooded the market. smh
@@jlakinddHoly shit, googled "reddit weapon genetics". Yeah, nah.
Call Cajungunsmith in Plano, Texas the gentleman who run the shop do good work and have plenty of experience building Ak's
Respect for this man and his wife.
Makes me wish I lived in Texas. Luckily up here in WI I go to a gunsmith that reminds me a lot of this man. Had my guy to a full conversion and barrel work for me on a Saiga 308 and it truly feels like a unique rifle. We need more people in our country like this man, and more people like us to support them.
Crazy im wearing my WG shirt while watching this. Cant wait till kalash
This place is 25 minutes from me and I didn’t know it existed. I don’t know whether to thank you for the info, or curse you, because I rarely enter a gun store without having to buy something!
Ha…my wife’s from Tomball and her grandparents lived in Pinehurst
He is one of my new favorite humans.
Wow, what a great interview/showcase of a successful Texas small business! Cody the owner such a humble young man. Thank you both for this video. 👍🇺🇸👍
Where's the missing Russian gas block????
That man gives great haircuts 😂 super cool dude can't wait to see y'all at kb again 🤙
“Should I say that?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cody is an awesome dude. I've had some NFA engraving done by him. Dude loves to talk about all the cool shit he's working on while the laser does its thing. When I bought my MP5 from him he asked me what stock I was going to put on it. When I told him I wasn't sure he went and grabbed a few to let me try out. Definitely need to stop by and get an AK from him eventually.
I can relate to this story...iam from Mississippi..you would be surprised how many ancient relic firearms is someone's house
Great guy. Does really good work.
In the surf world..we call guys like him ...core. hardcore and true. ❤
37 year Drywall finisher here. Love to do some trade labor with Cody. Mad respect brother
Cody seems like a cool ordinary gun guy. I am glad there are people in our community that truly love the art of building these and making them available to us that are not as skilled. Hope your business continues to grow Cody and I will support you as much as possible with parts I need.
he's a huge douchebag lol
I like the picture of Jose in the background. 😂😂
Great dude with great guns and great advice for life.
I’m here from the r/ak47 Reddit post. I think you’re being summoned.
I am not on Reddit but the guy is changing the facts, for example he says I wanted to use a PsA trunnion when it was actually a tool craft trunnion ordered from PSA.
@@weapongeneticsrd7429PSA does not make any 5.45 or 5.56 trunions. They only produce 7.62 trunions in house. Check their website.
@@weapongeneticsrd7429 it's what psa uses, and was ordered from psa. it's a psa trunnion
I can piss harder than you
@@weapongeneticsrd7429those toolcraft trunnions *are* PSA’s trunnions. And besides, WBP’s 5.56 trunnions and bolts are proprietary.
Genuine American farm boy 😍😎👍💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
A new level of kickA$$ Nice
I feel like he is my Firearm Soulmate.
Ive been considering going to SDI for awhile now. My only concern is there isnt enough money it gunsmithing. This dudes attitude makes me think it can be done. Super cool video. I also NEED that WG ZigZag shirt. As soon as i get out of the shower, im gonna look for it. Keep it up bro.
Sdi is a scam
Burt Gummer would be impressed with your walls of guns Cody.
Klay, love this series of getting to know gunsmiths.
He was a big influence in my life lols
Is that a "bug in" cat or a "bug out" cat? @@weapongeneticsrd7429
Great video, what an awesome guy.
You tied the wild man down for a 30-minute video. Well done, brother! I love Weapon Genetics. Cody is one of the most genuine people I've ever met glad to see him on your channel Klay.

Would be nice to find a decent AK kit..
We have some.
Cody’s overalls will become iconic! Wouldn’t it be cool if it had built in mag pouches & such lol
Absolutely a backwoods awesomeness. Love the ingenuity from a young age. Has some of my dream guns in his shop, cool stuff, that place looks awesome!! Sounds like he has an awesome old lady backing him up,that’s great.
Awesome
I would like to buy Cody a beer someday, he's an awesome genuine guy and I only hope the best for him!
Idk what it is with AK guys and cats but if your an AK guy it's almost guaranteed that you like cats too
An outstanding citizen.
Thanks, Enjoyed, Cody worked on my UZI SMG a few years ago, Very good job. Looks like he has fixed the shop up some. Good Luck.
Another great video. Really enjoy you introducing new gunsmiths to the AK world....
Major respect to this guy, he is doing what he loves. I would definitely be going to your shop to add something to the collection. Can't wait.

What a character and so great to see all these talented gun smiths.
This is a really great video, I can attest that he does a heck of a job! He's the kinda dude you want to have a beer or ten with and you hope he keeps crushing it with his business. Looking forward to doing business with him again.
This is an awesome video. Keep doing these Klay! Cody is a great dude
How the mighty have fallen
Daily driver baby
Cody is a good guy, very straightforward and knowledgeable about aks, and pew pews in general…. My go to ak guy…✌🏼
Great video 👍 Old school vintage Bikes and AK's building welding. Man we could be friends I'm into AK's and old Honda 3 wheelers and really most guns in general welding and metal fabrication.
Man I have two Honda 3 wheelers I am trying to get going my self.
This was a great interview!!!
Awesome!! Near my house in Magnolia!!!
Wonderful interview. 👏
Cool video lots of talent here in Texas
He is like cousin Mose from The Office but if they were in Texas😂
I like that shirt sir!
U posted this video just in time to eat my tax return
Great series hoping to see more content from Cody himself
Cody, I definitely want you to build something for me someday! God bless Texas!
Awesome video!!!!
Nice to meet you Cody
🇺🇸
👍🏻👍🏻 that’s Awsome! Good on weapon genetics!
More people need his vibe
Ok I need a galil now. Also wanted to make the comments an even 100 ❤
such a humble dude
Got a little drama going on @weapon genetics
Great video!
I bought 2 SKS for 300 bucks 10 years ago one is an ole Yugo and I would have never guessed the price would get to what they are now
Man I love Texas:)
This guy is rad!
I've got an unmolested Saiga12 in the back of the safe. I should probably get it to Cody to get a little work.
SAIGA 12's conversions don't really need any gunsmithing unless the barrel is not threaded like early imports. I did the same thing, have a 20" long barrel SAIGA 7.62x39 for Cody just need to ask a few questions about mailing, billing and if he is accepting any pinned saiga conversions...
I was just looking through their website😂
What a great guy to have in our community
I love this guy 😂
👍🏼🥃🇺🇸
where is he located at
Tomball Texas
Awesome shit
This guy is awesome!!!
what a cool dude
Dude had an underfolder saiga12 on the wall! Would be cool to see a live fire video on it!
I think I have it up on RUclips.
@@weapongeneticsrd7429I went back and found the video! Doesn’t look fun to shoot but it does look cool!😁
LET'S FUCKIN GOOOOO
Must be hard being a gunsmith with tyrants on your butt :(
We are in an atf audit right now. It sucks.
Very cool !
Cody is the most genuinely just stand up good dude's out there!💪🤙🇺🇸
This what every guy on r/ak47 looks like 😂
How can you not just love this guy!
❤❤❤😂 I love this yes MERICA
Cody search "Me before i was busted by the ATF" Read my story
Dude if that is really you, I know exactly who you are and remeber the videos. In my opinion you are a hero and a legend.
Its me brother keep up the good work and i love the way you think your just like me brother in so many ways.@@weapongeneticsrd7429
very cool
Cody looks like Dwight’s cousin mose from the office
Mose has a better beard than me.
Awsome ❤🇺🇸
