Broussard was sure of his priorities, goals, and boundaries and didn't compromise them for the reporting role. I respect and admire him for his stance.
Gotta respect Chris for this. This is the same way I feel about my career going forward. I don’t wanna work “too hard”…I need that work life balance because I plan to have a family in the near future. I need to be able to spend valuable time with them.
I don’t know, near future isn’t right now, if anything I would be taken those extra hours RIGHT NOW in preparation of when that family is here and then return to the average schedule.

This was very insightful. Love hearing about differences in what bith networks ask of you and choosing family is something any admirable man would do. Working around the clock seems miserable and so does answering your phone 24/7 I need to decompress from all that for awhile which is why we need weekends and evenings off. Being in a studio all day to return back at 5am is brutal

Broussard is one of my favorites. His priorities are right. From what I can tell, he puts God first. He caught flack for it on ESPN several years ago when they we really trying to push some political agendas he didn't agree with.
