Happened upon your latest video offering...rather like shelling...and of course, it's another gem, and just like here in Southern Oregon...so much rain!...lol...but from the coziness of my office, I did enjoy our day of exploring the rocks...hermit crabs make me laugh and it's a treat when you happen upon one or two of them...thank you for that, and thanx for letting me tag along!....in 4K of course...!!!
5:05 What a lovely day to go shelling today! I love the giant moon snail shell!! It’s kind of beautiful 🤩 and the moon snails turned out so beautifully gorgeous too. Thank you for taking us on another shelling adventure at the beach today, it was much fun to find shells with you. What is your favorite seashell 🐚?
I appreciate you watching this content! Hmm favorite shell... I am not sure I have a favorite, because there is so much I love about a great shell collecting experience overall. I am however, absolutely fascinated with true Arctic/boreal Shells, because they are so elusive and pretty much no one collects shells in these regions of the world. Some day, I'll feature content like this - stay tuned! :)
Amazing day! It just defies logic that those beautiful shells survive wind, waves & storms. So nice to live vicariously thru you. Keep up the good work!
That dedication to shelling in the cold rain! Epic moons and sand dollars! Could the Stimpson’s colus be confused with a tulip? I found what looks like both on the NJ shore some Thanksgivings ago. Was shocked a tulip would be found that far north. It was pretty blackened from sediment. Now I’m rethinking what I thought it was.
Hi friend! The Stimpson's Colus and Tulips are two different species, but could definitely see how one might confuse the two. Most typically, tulip shells common to the US east coast(Banded Tulips, and True Tulips), aren't found north of North Carolina - the conditions are simply too cold for them to live north of this location. I'd love to see what this shell was that you found! Thanks for watching!
Again always love watching your shelling adventures! Just made the annual trip from SoCal to SWFL 10k Islands - hoping one day to be able to shell in MA or ME shells are so cool!
New England shelling can often be a little bit more difficult than shelling in Florida, but if you have an interest in finding those intriguing cold water shells, than a trip shelling in northern New England awaits you!
That is some true shelling dedication! Going out in the freezing cold rain just to find shells couldn't be more accurate 😂 Those moon snails in the northeast are incredible. They dwarf the little shark eyes from the south! I found some large broken northern moon snails in the Outer Banks but that was about as close as I've gotten so far. Happy shelling!
Hi Shell friend! Oh yeah, I have heard that you can find Northern Moons in the Outer Banks, but it's pretty rare as this is the extreme southern end of their range? Thanks so much for watching, and loving your recent content!
I actually visited Rialto, and LaPush about 5 years ago(before this channel) - some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen! I was able to find some beautiful pieces of Jasper amongst the strewn rock cobbles. Thanks for watching!
I love those baby purple moons! And the big blues.. so cool
Blues and purples! Thank you so much for watching!
What an awesome shelling day!! You always make me jealous 😩😩 I wish I was there!! 🙌🏻🦋🙏🏻 Blessings to you my dear!! I love your videos!! 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks so much for coming along, friend!
Another great video!! Keep it up.
Thanks so much for watching!

Please don’t EVER forget your shelling bag (I stopped breading for a second 😱) & get you some thin water proof gloves 😂😂😂 Love your videos!!
I couldn't believe I forgot my shell bag :(
Thanks so much for watching!
Gorgeous Moons
Thanks for watching!
Solace in shelling - perfect. I get lost for hours looking for shells. Just love the search.
Thank you so much for watching!
This is one of my favorite places for finding moon snails! a few weeks ago I found one drilling into a clam four times its size.
Amazing colirs on those moon snails❣ Way cool finds on those welks!
Edit: fat fingers strikes again! Colors not colirs, 😆
haha! Thanks so much for watching!
The moon snails up North look a lot larger than the ones in FL... is there a reason why they're so big?
Reminds me of Olympic 🖋️ nsula, Ocean Shores, LaPush, Rialto Beach.😊
