What strategies or coping mechanisms have you tried in the past to alleviate and / or overcome your panic and anxiety?

Realizing that it is a panic attack, telling myself that I'm ok, I meditate and do breathing exercises. I have good care providers I can talk to if I need to.

Accepting the panic feeling and validating the you can handle it. I've been through this before. It will pass ! Very powerful!

All agreed with the points made. But what I do when the palpitations start, I put a bag of frozen food over my face, that quickly slows everything down after a bout a minute or so.

Thank you! it's hard to change those intuitive reactions of resistance during fight of flight, but I guess it's a practice I must practice often. I always get caught up in the content of my anxious thinking - usually about the symptoms i'm experiencing, I fear fear itself and how it makes me feel and the possibility of feeling it again.
I'll work towards showing my brain with acceptance that it doesn't have to protect me from my own anxiety.
    Also, AWESOME HAIR! :D

I tend to hyperventilate and feel like I'm suffocating during sleep. One time I was on a cave tour and we were up somewhat high and I felt dizzy. So I just focused on a spot in the distance until we left the area. It really helped as a distraction. Thanks for your wonderful videos💜

I can see how this technique could be really helpful. I specifically have panic attacks whist driving on the freeway or in construction or traffic. I’m not sure how this method can be adapted for when one is driving at highway speeds. Do you have any tips?
Also, I have been doing your self hypnosis meditation for anxiety and panic for the last few weeks and it’s been helpful- thank you!

As soon as you feeling it say inside i accept this feeling, these are just symptoms of anxiety and are not here to harm me. Acceptance is the key. Do it everyday. Trust me it will help.

My symptoms are up and down, I felt like my old self yesterday. As soon as I woke this morning, I felt the opposite - back to anxiety like I've taken backwards step back to panic attacks. It's extremely disheartening 😢
