When your home is being treated for skin beetles...

Whether or not you have observed skin beetles, it is important that you follow these guidelines:
• Treatment will be done along the base boards, so you need to make sure they are easily accessible. If possible, furniture placed against walls should be moved 50cm out from the wall.
• Please vacuum your home thoroughly, especially along the base boards, before each treatment. On the days in between treatments, you should avoid vacuuming along the base boards.
• You need to empty your kitchen cabinets and drawers completely of both food and kitchen utensils before we arrive. (You can place the contents on the kitchen table, or your dining table, and it can be put back after the treatment)
• Infested foods should be thrown away or frozen at -18 degrees Celsius for at least 72 hours.
• All pipes passing through, technology cabinets etc. need to be accessible.
• It is not necessary for you to deep clean your home immediately after the treatment and you should not do so. For example, you do not need to clean the treated areas. Moreover, we recommend that you do not wash the floors all the way out to the base boards during the entire period of treatment.
• You must not use any other insecticides during the course of the treatment.
