@@Plight_ Not really, under weed you'll usually get a dwi instead of a dui which is not nearly as bad. Weed makes people slower to react which is bad, but the impairment isn't nearly as bad as alcohol. Weed also affects everyone differently tho, so it's really up to the police and judge's decision on how to handle it. There's nothing wrong with what the police did here imo

But to imply that grown adults in their 18-22's "are going to do dumb things" like it's inevitable is no excuse. There are countless people this age and even teens and kids who don't do dumb things. There's a difference between making mistakes for not knowing much about the world yet, which should only apply to actual kids, and just doing dumb things like the 21 year-old in the video. Not giving a f*ck is no excuse to use age to do dumb shit. They're not dumb, they don't care and try to get away with dumb shit because they know people point out that they're "young". And that's why even teens here are more responsible and mature than grown adults in the U.S..

Chat and X were all idiots about the searching. There was no "slow play" they don't search your person until you're actually under arrest. They had no reason to search until they arrested her; in fact doing it earlier would have violated her rights unless she gave them explicit permission.

@@davernie3931 No. When you are waiting to appear in court you have to wait it out in a jail. Because courts take so long to handle cases you could potentially be in jail for months or even years, even if you're innocent. You are allowed to pay bail which would allow you to wait for court without having to stay in jail and the bail money is given back to you after court, and the bail is usually set to be a high amount relative to the person so that they feel pressured into showing for court otherwise they lose alot of money
@@davernie3931there are much more people living in the US than European countries so there’s obviously much more criminals, so bond exists, when you’re arrested for a crime, you’re held until your court date in a holding sell, paying bond allows you to not be forced to stay in that cell and be free until your court date, bond prices and terms change depending on a crime, and major crime doesn’t have a bond. You pay money to be let free for a short time until court, and you get that money back if you show up to your court date on time every time. It’s to ensure people show up and to prevent having to wait in an empty cell for potentially weeks to months.

This girl is completely spoiled and is probably being taken care of by her family and multiple men. She’s sporting a very expensive jacket, has no job and as it turns out might be pregnant. The only thing I was shocked at is that she didn’t already have a kid. That said, there is no reason to do field sobriety tests. Just take them to the station and get them tested. She mentioned she had a gun and these bozo cops didn’t do a search and cuffed her with her jacket on. They have the “don’t worry, we’re just talking” lies down but they did a terrible job on this arrest.

She's a small Asian girl, they were already physically holding her when she revealed she had a gun, and they were able to easily restrain her onto the ground. If you're an adult male reaching for a gun, of course they're going to use more force because you're going to be harder to restrain. It doesn't necessarily mean they're going to kill you, they would probably tase your ass, and in the case of someone reaching for a gun, that would be completely reasonable for them to do.

Give them an actual effective field test kit that a monkey could read. Otherwise they are just going to assume. FYI the “rookie” couldn’t do it cuz only some cops are able to credibly preform the tests for weed/drugs. Alcohol and drug tests are different.
He couldn't do it because the filming officer had started the test. One officer has to carry out all the tests from start to finish. They discussed it in the clip. If the rookie wanted to do it, he would have to start from the beginning with the "follow the pen" test, which is what happened.
