With women you never know, especially when they give birth or are pregnant. Their hormones start going whacky, their thoughts and mindset can start changing now that they've given life to another human being - you really don't know what each individual starts thinking, how their psyche becomes altered... Even in nature, there's plenty of cases of animal mothers eating their own, we humans just don't literally eat our own but there's plenty of parents, potentially this woman even, that do ''give up'' on their own.
For all anyone knows, if she never gave birth to a child she could've been just a normal woman and lived thru her entire life as she had. You just don't know until it's too late. Maybe she was one of those ''I don't want no kids'' but ended up pregnant. Not to try make excuses for her, but I'm feeling like her reason is somewhere around that ballpark.
Her own mother should've checked in with her daughter more too, seen the disastrous apartment of hers and done something about it. While the parent is primarily to blame for what happened here, the grandparent is not much better with the obliviousness to the situation.

@@OtmanChh you think no one will look for that kid? She knows that she's bound to face the consequences of her actions and not reporting it is just delaying the inevitable. In the perspective of a criminal, what she did is the most optimal choice as she can prepare by hiding the evidence and plan how she would deal with the authorities hence she is still in control which is better than trusting the outcome to fate. The only problem here is she's not that good of a criminal. If this was done by someone who is smart enough to know how to act and say the right words, careful enough to check all the corners of the house for things that will get bad attention or even prepare things like toys that will lessen their suspicion then that guy will most likely get away from it rather than someone who literally had their kid disappeared out of nowhere and just live like nothing happened. The criminal I'm describing might be straight out of a movie but I'm pretty sure they exist

Nah the call responder was spot on. When I was 6 (a you’d autistic boy, me) was playing hide and seek with my sisters. I hid behind an open door for 6 hours. My parents called for me, searched the village, called the police who checked the village and had people out searching. I didn’t know I was just hiding. So it’s very plausible!

Mostly corpsman, military police, the guys who work with weapons, pilots, special warfare, etc. are the ones that matter. All of her ribbons and awards come standard with lengthy service. She is in aviation maintenance more than likely from her uniform. It’s funny to me how she didn’t even do anything important but wants rewarded.

What was the motive X asks?
Raising kids is extremely stressful....they are little wild animals that aren't born tamed or with manners.
It takes serious commitment and patience to be a good parent and some people are just not cut out for it.
My guess is that Brianna had spontaneous, unprotected sex with the father in her early twenties. The father disappeared, leaving Brianna all alone to financially and emotionally support Taylor.
On top of that, Brianna's mother said that she did not have a strong friend group or social support system.
So for 5 years Brianna had been dealing with multiple existential, emotional, and financial stressors completely alone - this would weigh very heavily on anyones will to live.
Her psyche couldn't handle the responsibility or the stress anymore so she just locked the source of her stresses in a closet and ignored it (out of sight, out of mind).
Again, some people are just not fit for parenthood, especially most people under 25. WEAR FUCKING CONDOMS IF UR NOT TRYING TO HAVE A KID, IT COULD HAVE SAVED A LIFE HERE
