When you admit to having a gun in your pocket, you do exactly what the cop says. You don't move when a cop says don't move. If the cop says give me your phone, allow the cop to take it out of your hand. He did none of those things. Yet, the cops were still polite as fuck to them. Everyone saying the cop is stressed out, but the guy is almost handling it better than the cop. The cop literally has a gun pointed at him and the guy is calmly even telling him and informing them of his gun. Cop needs to keep his cool and deescalate the situation while also dearming him the fastest he can, which IMO would go much smoother with the cop not yelling at him and giving him weird ass commands.

The PIT begins when the pursuing vehicle pulls alongside the fleeing vehicle so that the portion of the pursuer's vehicle forward of the front wheels is aligned with the portion of the target vehicle behind the back wheels. The pursuer gently makes contact with the target's side, then steers sharply into the target. The pursuer must also accelerate or its bumper will slide off the target vehicle.[4] As soon as the fleeing vehicle's rear tires lose traction and start to skid, the pursuer continues to turn in the same direction until clear of the target. This is more of a committed lane change than an actual turn. The target will turn in the opposite direction, in front of the pursuer, and will spin out. The PIT may be done from either side, but consideration must be given to where both cars will end up. Typically, another police car will tail the PIT unit to proceed with the arrest, while the PIT unit recovers its own control and completely stops the car. The PIT does not immobilize the suspect vehicle and to prevent further flight, two police cars need to pin the suspect between them, front and rear.
One wiki article can tell you that RAMMING and PITTING, are not the same.

No, it is your job to uphold your professionalism, it doesn't matter if the suspect is not professional about it or not. It is your job to handle the case as carefully as possible. There are so many ways that a case gets thrown away because of mishandling the situation. And ofc, it will sometimes lead someone to get hurt.

Also if the suspect is complying, it would be dumb to still be aggressive and yell and scream. Dragging the driver out was mistreatment. Yes I am aware of what they did, putting so many lives at risk, but there is still humanity at display here. That streamer also has the nerve to sit there and criticize men who are contributing something real and important to society. What a world where the men who risk their lives for our safety get paid very little, while the millionaire man-child sits there and criticizes them because they were emotional in a situation that involves a violent criminal and the possibility of life or death (since the driver showed he was willing to put lives at risk with that high speed chase).
