The man you all know and love as Redd Foxx was my late great cousin. Him & my grandfather were first cousins and looked like brothers more than anything. Thanks for posting this and telling his story that isn’t talked about often.

Wow. Tony Curtis😮. Started from nothing and made it big!!! Love that and love Tony😚. Such a sad story about Red Foxx. Such a funny man with such a sad ending. I can't believe the IRS stooped so low to take his medical bracelet. My god! !! Thank you Jordan...this was an exceptional vlog❤👍

Red was the funniest guy on TV in the seventies and it's a shame the IRS has no problem ruining people's lives over money. This would have been a great place for peplum to come and remember him instead of looking like a vacated dump. My mother spent an entire night after one of his shows playing Black Jack with him and my father. They said he was one of the nicest people they ever met. At least he had a top rated show with the Royal Family and left us laughing.

when I was 12 I went with a radio station Christmas caroling. and we visited reds and wayne newtons house. I remember red was so nice he paid are bus driver to take us out to denny's. it was so sweet. their use to be these big metal gates around the house. they had a fox on them. shame they took them down

Sanford was Redds real last name too - i live in Vegas now Jordan, i've driven by Redd's old house numerous times, i rarely see cars or anything going on there - i think they are "by appointment only" - i did not know Curtis was buried out here, we used to see him at the Brentwood Farmers Market on Montana from time to time - i got the impression he was a pretty nice guy, just wanted to go about his business - talked to him for a minute one afternoon when we were paying for some stuff and he even offered an autograph, lol, it wasn't necessary, he insisted, so i let him sign my grocery bag - don't remember what happened to it, i did keep it for awhile - both these guys experienced the good and bad in life

Love Redd Foxx in Sanford and Son show. You can get more laugh out from his 30 minute show than you would watching a Richard Pryor or even Eddie Murphy movies. I have a small collection of Sanford and Son. And yes, it was very sad what he had experience in his life. The IRS don't give a crap about nobody. And Tony Curtis, I love watching some of his movies as well. A very good looking man he was. Jamie Lee Curtis, I always thought she was pretty, if you ask me. Well thank you again for another well done video. I really enjoyed myself on this one. You take care Jordan, and God Bless You.

Redd died broke at 69,two months before his 70th. birthday.I seen him in Vegas just three months before he died.He just had released his last audio album "Have You Washed Your Ass Today".He said that he once joined a doo wop group and their first hit was called "Do Do Do Do Do Do A Do Do" He said it passed to number 2 on the charts..Eddie Murphy paid for his funeral and arranged for the IRS to not throw him in prison, instead the IRS allowed him to avoid prison and let him work off his debt. The IRS took 90% of his monthly earnings leaving him with only 10 percent to live on.I guess that's better than being locked up in a cage..Love you Redd..Thanks for the laughter and may you RIP.

I remember as a kid going past Redd Foxes home, The Red limo would be parked out front every day. That is when we all knew he was there. And this was back in the early 80s and late 80s as well. His home even then was classified as modest living a 1ST home small, but with a yard that is for sure.

There's something serendipitous about choosing Curtis and Foxx from an Elvis standpoint. First, Elvis famously started dying his hair in 1957 because he had hoped it would make him look more like Tony Curtis. Redd Foxx was a regular at the Las Vegas Hilton and his name can often be seen on the marquis along with Elvis's. Foxx was at Elvis' wedding reception at the Aladdin in '67. Great stuff, J.

I remember when Tony Curtis was Stoney Curtis on The Flintstones . He was Wilma's celebrity crush. She might have even won it. She died only a few years after that

@lat woods hate to bust your bubble but every one pays taxes the rich get a tax break but they have to pay taxes or go to jail you really don't know how taxes work you need to do research before you open your month. Iam tax preparer and i do taxes for every one rich or poor or middle class people you don't know what yoi are talking just like everyone that they think they know but they learn about taxes it is the law that every one has to pay taxes if you don't the irs will cease your home cars and everything you own and it goes the same for the rich. Several actors owed millions of dollars to the irs and lost every thing they owned.

It is sad Jordan....I have lived here in Las Vegas for over 44 years and, was actually in his house when they were having a big sale throughout the residence...I would bump into him at the airport from time to time. He was a hoot, especially when the airport would misplace his luggage and they did it more then a few times too! You know, people drive by this old house of his , not even knowing it was Redds, sad indeed. We are born, we live, we die and we are forgotten, such is life! His spirit lives on though, as will all of us ~ ~
