It's obvious these rays all gathered to throw a massive party. It was such a good time that they started jumping out of the water to express their joy.

Could you imagine if, by some bizarre occurrence, one of those rays managed to continuously generate enough lift and just keep on going? Now that would be a sight.

      In time they will.

I remember there being a story/video about these occurrences they where not yet flying but gaining momentum but the military began killing the groups to prevent the evolution but I can’t find any trace of this on the internet anymore.
The mantas in the video I saw where nothing compared to this they had flight and grace.
The story was about how majority of predators are smaller than humans because we as human killed of larger predators in practice. The large wild animals seen in places such as Africa and Australia are nothing more than remains of migrated animals to be kept in “wildlife reserves” for research purposes and majority are not native to these lands. The story mentioned documentation of smilodon and mammoths and other large reptiles insects and sea life at the time of the pyramids and a possible historical coverup of a great extinction/slaughter of a multitude of different species that still occurs to this day.

Their "wings" aren't big enough to produce sufficient energy to support their whole weight in air. In water, they don't need that big fins to swim freely by supporting whole weight.

I remember seeing this in person one time in Panama City, FL. My family and I were taking a sunset boat tour, and all around the boat on the inlet to out to gulf, rays were jumping out of the water like this. I go to the beach just about every summer, take a boat tour almost all the time. I am 26 yrs old and I've only seen this once.

One year we were racing from Kihei canoe club to launiopoko beach, here on Maui. There were OC-1s, OC-2s, SUPs, surfskis I remember we were just coming to Haycraft beach, it was super windy and off to my left around 100 feet away there were two Manta Rays that came flying out of the water just as I was looking in that direction. Really beautiful, always remember it, I was on an OC-1...

    • @victorsopilniak7008

Видно, что падают на воду плашмя, значит либо на "тёлочек" производят впечатление (кто больше брызг/грохота наделает) либо своё пищеварение улучшают (может запорами страдают, вот и стимулируют кишечник). ))
