It's obvious these rays all gathered to throw a massive party. It was such a good time that they started jumping out of the water to express their joy.
Tu lutò terga nn mi ha jfjfj di h un nice
Could you imagine if, by some bizarre occurrence, one of those rays managed to continuously generate enough lift and just keep on going? Now that would be a sight.
In time they will.
I remember there being a story/video about these occurrences they where not yet flying but gaining momentum but the military began killing the groups to prevent the evolution but I can’t find any trace of this on the internet anymore.
The mantas in the video I saw where nothing compared to this they had flight and grace.
The story was about how majority of predators are smaller than humans because we as human killed of larger predators in practice. The large wild animals seen in places such as Africa and Australia are nothing more than remains of migrated animals to be kept in “wildlife reserves” for research purposes and majority are not native to these lands. The story mentioned documentation of smilodon and mammoths and other large reptiles insects and sea life at the time of the pyramids and a possible historical coverup of a great extinction/slaughter of a multitude of different species that still occurs to this day.
Their "wings" aren't big enough to produce sufficient energy to support their whole weight in air. In water, they don't need that big fins to swim freely by supporting whole weight.
Definitely need to give those ocean boys some feathers stat!
@@imurvr get out of America for a bit and go see the rest of the world 😂😂😂
gee, I wonder where ancient stories of weird sea creatures came from
Never SEEN an animal leap with so much excitement as this 😀👍
Nature never ceases to amaze.
There's so much that we don't know about these ancient beings. They're so majestic and amazing I would have loved to be there to witness this! This is an awesome short video from the National Geographic.
Theyre not ancient
@@k4i109 I thought rays have been around for 150 millions of years, of course there are many different species that evolved.
How could anyone dislike this??? Our world is so amazing....
I cannot even fathom how cool it would feel to be filming this.
At times like this I like to think Steve Irwin's spirit has been carried on with all types of rays swimming in all the oceans, procuring their longevity and epicness. I miss you Steve.
One of the most intriguing sea videos I have seen brilliant, never seen rays leaping before
The film of the Rays flying out of the ocean is famtastic! I would love to be able to do that!
They're having a flying party. :)
imagine being there to witness this amazing event!
This is Breathtaking, as it is Beautiful. Nature is amazing!
They are trying to evolve!!!! birds with flying barbed stingers... oh shit!
lol just what i was thinking! haha evolution we can see. lol why can evolution not co-exist with creationism is really the best question. i mean if i was gonna create some shit and hope it stayed healthy and working for millions of years i would make it all very adaptable and obviously we creatures of earth are.
These rays don't have stingers.
dont even dare bring creationism into this.
Amazing! I love rays - this would have been awesome to see & experience
They'll be able to fly one day, evolution is a slow process
Wonders of nature! We can't explain it all!
Awesome stuff. God's creative creations are creative.
Best footage of an amazing moment in time which is so rare. Speechless!
To quote a line from a certain Disney movie...."Thats not flying, thats falling with style."
My jaw dropped so low it just hit my desk! This is so cool, beautiful and cute all at the same time! I love rays!
I remember seeing this in person one time in Panama City, FL. My family and I were taking a sunset boat tour, and all around the boat on the inlet to out to gulf, rays were jumping out of the water like this. I go to the beach just about every summer, take a boat tour almost all the time. I am 26 yrs old and I've only seen this once.
I could watch this all day.

Yes Richard, Wonderful video and very good work of cameraman...
Wonderful!!!
Amazing! Even animals like a rush.
Amazing!!!
One year we were racing from Kihei canoe club to launiopoko beach, here on Maui. There were OC-1s, OC-2s, SUPs, surfskis I remember we were just coming to Haycraft beach, it was super windy and off to my left around 100 feet away there were two Manta Rays that came flying out of the water just as I was looking in that direction. Really beautiful, always remember it, I was on an OC-1...
That is awesome!
Truly remarkable!
Amazing Nature!!
Wow!!! It's breath taking!!!
Stunning comes to mind !!!
Breathtaking.
they are quite breathe taking as they take flight, and awkward when they hit the water again. Love watching them
Que hermosura!
loving these sea rays.
