What you need to consider when it comes to new construction is that most upgrades on average cost about $50K - $100K…. This most likely doesn’t include your solar panels.. You need to have a minute of 26 solar panels to possibly break even. You have to qualify for solar panels and it’s separate from your upgrades…. This is what they don’t tell you in these videos!!!
Correct! The model homes have significant upgrades that are $50k+. I’ve seen some with $120k in upgrades. As far as the solar goes, the price of the panels is much cheaper than paying Edison. So yes, you need to consider that they’re going to be extra, but at the same time, you need to consider that your monthly expenses will be less with solar than SCE. There’s actually a community in Menifee I just filmed that includes the solar in the price.
