There was a time that HTC was the top of the food chain when it came to smartphones. They are legendary for creating premium phones with stereo speakers( boom sound or beats audio). They were the standard for awhile as they were the first to come out with android. It would be nice to see them make a comeback because they had the best phones overall. Can't forget about HTC thunderbolt, htc Evo, the one m7 and m8. Those are just a few of the awesome devices that dominated the smartphone world.

HTC was my Jam before they stopped making phones and i had to jump to the LG V20 years ago. Now with LG in the same boat, once im due for an upgrade I'm may possibly jump from the Velvet back to HTC 👍🏾

The HTC M7 was about 500 dollars and it was HTC best looking device and the bezel and fohead made it such a beautifl phone

Love HTC always been a fan because I love listening to music and that brand was perfect for me, had the HTC One V, HTC M8 (Red) and HTC 10 and I was so upset when they removed the headphone jack and made me switch brands to LG V30s but I still miss feeling of the Sense UI. I'm extremely happy for their comeback, come on HTC awaiting for a proper flagship. HTC ❤️

Well I'm all for it. My old HTC One A9 was my first HTC phone and I enjoyed it despite it's ridiculously small battery. Actually ended up being a Boost Mobile variant phone. I miss HTC being on carriers.
For sure I never had the A9 but I'm sure it was a great phone
The last HTC device I had was the HTC 10! I switched carriers just for that device lol. I use to love HTC Sense UI

I hope they make a comeback in the US because I have to upgrade my phone this year. I refuse to buy a Samsung. That's the only Android option available unless HTC sells in US stores ❤😊

Any new updates on this device and an official USA release date? I'm upgrading for the 1st time in several years and refuse to go back to Samsung. I need an earphone jack and a micro SD card slot.

was the camera quality same like the old models? cos some says that htc was sold to china already, that's why their latest model now is dual sim.. the most i love with htc is even if you drop many times the phone still fine, and the camera was so good.. is it was better than samsung flagship phones?

I don't know if HTC changed directions. But in an 2019 article it stated that HTC would only sell phones in select regions. Unless HTC can start making a good amount of profit I doubt they will come back to a competive market like the US.

I had a HTC year's ago and loved it. My sister didn't like it. I have a iPhone 14 plus. If I could get lower prices I would be gone like a shot to HTC .

Htc killer features... Dual front boom boom speakers, blink feed, that awesome camera app i use for my other android phones makes most cameras 10x better. That music player which finds lyrics...done deal. Give me better battery life and im all in, no questions 💰

I had the EVO 3D & the M7. The two front facing Beats speakers on the M7 were a very nice touch.

If it happens to be another Pixel a series-like phone, it will sell. But HTC needs to be consistent. Do you want to push Metaverse stuff on your phone? Good. Do you want to provide a better VR experience? Go ahead! But do something that makes your phone stand out. Having options is great.

From what I see the Xiaomi 13 lite and the new Honor 90 will make him have a thought fight.
U23pro is good device
But it quite lacked of power compared to competitors in mid ranged.
I mean it will be much better if u23 have snap7gen2 instead of gen1 but it much better compared to desires 22.

Unfortunately, they have to make a model for the US as well. They do not make a phone for CDMA which means there're carriers in the US like Verizon, Sprint, etc that will not work. So only At&T and T Moblie or those who use their towers can have the phone.

I believe if HTC do a flagship at a high price they will get destroyed no one will buy it so going into the midrange market is good at a low price

Actually u12+ is my favourite smart phone of all time. Design, user experience and i can still play genshin at medium settings

I wish this phone has an update already. I'm officially upgrading this year and refuse to go back to Samsung 😊 This needs an official US release with all the carriers.

I contacted HTC about this phone and I was informed they can’t guarantee any OS updates just security patches. That’s a No from me.

Because this is not an htc product! It's more like an OEM product. We Taiwanese almost don’t buy products from this brand anymore. Although it comes from Taiwan.

Htc sold its mobile phone division to Google. Some of my friends were laid off, and some became employees of Google. From then on, Google launched Pixel phones more regularly every year.

I miss the squeeze to open any app or action on the 11. I'm sad to see this. Htc sold it's soul to Google and that makes me sick. I'm sad to see them attempting to come back. I have higher optimism for lg to come back than HTC. At least LG didn't sell its soul away, they will be back.
