Honestly the start to Battlefield 1 takes the cake as being the best prologue/tutorial mission becuase of how if you die it just puts you back as another guy and you get to experience the hell on earth those soldiers did.

BF1’s soundtrack is in at least my Top 3 game OST’s. It had a quality that sustained through the main game as well as its DLCs (that Russian one just hits different). I have a “World War” playlist on my phone that’s mostly pieces from this soundtrack.
Imagine the setting. You're in the trenches when you suddenly hear that whistle to charge into no man's land, and it hasn't been given that name for no reason. Machine guns firing at you from all angles, bolt-action rifles being fired at you from all angles, people with fixed bayonets charging at you. And you would only witness this of course if the mustard gas did not kill you already. No Man's Land is literally the closest you get to absolute Hell on Earth...

Okay I get it but how is giving one's life a beautiful thing? Yes sacrafice and bravery are honorable and admirable acts but not beautiful. Even under these circumstances losing a life is not something I can see as beautiful.
Everyone see's things differently. And everyone has differnt experiences going through life. Too many of us see life on the darker side. Not because we wanted it this way. Its just the hand we are dealt so we make use of it. Laugh at it, smile at it, mock it and remember why it is how it is. And who made it like this. You dont have to shoot at another man across a field to say you've been to war, you just have to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. You dont have to go to war for PTSD.. your fellow man next door or down the street will give you somthing to never forget.
The music that is like this that plays when both sides are in a stalemate to re capture the objectives in operation on the final sector does it’s job to make you push or defend as if your actual life depends on it

I remember being on a hill near the enemy team's main start area, while I was there they advanced and took most of our objectives so I was the only one on my team on that entire side of the map. I was just using a bolt action rifle but there were a fee machine guns around and good defensive positions and it was almost like something out of the first part of the campaign with it getting more and more intense as it went. First just a few of the germans tried taking me out but I killed them, it soon went from 1 to 100 very quickly because then they got a tank and started firing at the area where I was at. Finally died from a mortar shot

I remember being on a hill near the enemy team's main start area, while I was there they advanced and took most of our objectives so I was the only one on my team on that entire side of the map. I was just using a bolt action rifle but there were a fee machine guns around and good defensive positions and it was almost like something out of the first part of the campaign with it getting more and more intense as it went. First just a few of the germans tried taking me out but I killed them, it soon went from 1 to 100 very quickly because then they got a tank and started firing at the area where I was at. Finally died from a mortar shot
