Yeah, I just got mine yesterday. I was doubting my choice, wondering if I should've gone with the air. But I'm thinking I made the right choice as I already had the 1st gen apple pencil from my 6th gen ipad. It seems great. I just want update support for a long time, as I'm not financially able to go out and buy new devices all the time like some of these people lol.
The best iPad actually is the iPad Pro 11". It combines the power and 120Hz of the 12.9" and the size of the Air 5. 12.9" model is way too heavy and it's not great for using it without the keyboard. It is more like laptop replacement.
@@tobiasgvenus Absolutely, the price difference between M1 Air and M1 Pro is not that big, so 120Hz is the 100% way to go. Afther I bought it and sometimes switch to my MBP 13 with M1 which has a 60Hz screen it looks awful. 😄
No it isn’t a laptop replacement. The 12.9 is for artists who need the xtra space and are used to using Wacom Tablets. It’s a Tablet, no external keyboard required.
Cheaper is not equal to more features. The iPad (10th generation) has a 12MP rear camera and shoots 4K. Meanwhile the iPad (9th generation) has a 8MP camera and shoots 1080p. The iPad (10th generation) even supported the Apple Pencil (USB-C). While the iPad (9th generation) doesn't. The iPad (10th generation) has an A14 Bionic chip which is stronger than the A13 Bionic chip on the iPad (9th generation). Also the iPad (10th generation) has 10.9" inches of screen size while the iPad (9th generation) has 10.2". The iPad (10th generation) is lighter than the iPad (9th generation). The iPad (10th generation) has 5G cellular while the iPad (9th generation) has 4G LTE cellular. The iPad (9th generation) got a Lighting connector while the iPad (10th generation) got a USB-C connector. Wow! The iPad (10th generation) removed the home button so you don't need to worry that the home button will be stuck. But the iPad (9th generation) has. The iPad (9th generation) got a headphone jack but the iPad (10th generation) removed the headphone jack which is better. So the iPad (10th generation) is the better choice.
Just got 9th gen base IPad with a ZAGG pro keyboard with trackpad for under $350 total. Using for engineering classes and entertainment it’s a great deal imo.
Hi, what do you do with all your tech? By any chance, do you resell them for a cheaper price? I am a student and been struggling to keep up with technology advancements in education. ❤
if you just wanna write? yes. If youre into digital art? Hell no. There is no other pencil for the iPad with tilt recognition, pressure sensitivity and lines without mechanical wobble. (and the price is the same you'd pay for a Wacom Pro Pen 2 (and no this one doesn't work on iPads), so its not even overpriced since the features are identical) Pretty crap and uneducated statement right there chief

Good evening Recently, it was time to upgrade my phone. I'm in my mid-40's, and have been a Samsung customer for a long time. After contemplating from a few different phone's, I decided to go with the iPhone11. It is the first Apple product I've ever purchased. I got it when it went on sale, and for my needs, I'm pleasantly surprised! The learning curve was not too difficult for someone who isn't tech savvy like myself. That being said, I'm looking for an Apple iPad now. I mainly just browse the internet, but I'm also getting into photography/filming (making RUclips videos.) My budget is around $500, but can afford to shell out a little more if really needed for a substantial upgrade. Do you think someone in my situation would be happy with the 2020 iPad AIR, or is there another model you would suggest for my personal needs? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Take care👍
I’m a psychologist and got a 9 to work on-line and it fits perfectly (to do rest i use the iPhone or MacBook). i think the others versions are need just for creation workers or heavily users :)
I have an iPad Air 2 and it works surprisingly very well! I do not recommend to get this one but if you already have it imo there’s no need for upgrades. (I use it for entertainment and note taking)
My MacBook Pro 2015 passed away in November, I had no iPad at the time either. I decided to buy an iPad Air 5 (came across a good sale for $575 256 gb, 8gb ram, taxes already included at the time), I pretty much do everything I need to on it. If I have any actual heavy task, I can either do a work around or use my work laptop. I have the Bluetooth Magic Keyboard along with the Magic Trackpad as a desktop set up whenever I need to get into actual computing work, I use my 55 inch tv monitor for that as well along with the stage manager feature. Overall no complaints.
Also, the iPad Air has a laminated screen, which means your interaction with the screen is going to be direct on and everything’s gonna look really good specially since I hate the way it feels to use tablets or phones that don’t have a laminated screen
As an artist, I was really interest in the iPad 10, buuut yeah the pen situation made me change my mind really quickly, so the 2020 iPad Air seems like the best choice but I'm worried this version is a bit old now...
I’ve recently bought almost new Air 4 and it’s so amazing. I mostly use it for making some notes, reading, social media and some apps for my work. I even could say that 64 gb is far enough for this use case (but not for games I guess). So I can highly recommend to buy this tab
I use my 9 for school and it’s really good for what I use it for, video calls are also usually uninterrupted unless I have a wifi issue, Ive also just got mine so im new too it. But from what I’ve seen it’s awesome lol
My dad is a helicopter pilot, he absolutely loves iPad mini cuz it fits well in small office. He used the previous gen iPad mini for 7 years then upgraded to mini 6
It’s iPad 10 is a good value now. It’s down to $329 on Amazon and can use the Apple Pencil usb c. The usb c pencil snaps magnetically to the side of the iPad 10 and syncs and charges with a usb c port.
I want to buy the iPad Air 2020 and the price is good for 64 gb But im needing 256 gb and its kinda expensive so i dont know should i get it used or is there a better option
They make it super stretched even with the apple pencil charging problem with the usb c and lighting it’s still cheaper then spending 200 dollars more for 70 dollars worth of features
I’ve been thinking about getting the iPad Air 4 for a long time. I’d mostly use it for school and just daily use like I would use my phone should I get it? I also will use the Apple Pencil
Note from a kid: a lot of us play some games that are actually graphically demanding, so getting something like the iPad Air m1 (which I believe you can find for much cheaper now) is also a great option. And for watching videos, kids would enjoy the Liquid Retina display as opposed to the retina on the 9th gen. If you can swing it, you can find an m1 iPad Pro 12.9 for around 600, which should last them a while and is what I personally use.
Im 10 and would much rather have one of the newer iPads not an iPad 8th gen. I like the more features and how there is no home button. And I don’t just use it for watching RUclips and games and stuff I use it for more than that. That’s just my opinion tho
Bought the ninth gen for school and it just works really good!I'd honestly recommend this instead of the iPad 10 because the only major changes are the home bar and the USB-C charging port

Just an update for anybody that's debating an iPad 9 vs air or pro. I purchased the nine and enjoyed the interface however I found it just didn't have enough storage for me and I also need to do video editing and it was slower than my iPhone 11! I upgraded to the pro 4 faster file transfer, incredible speakers and faster editing speed. All depends on your budget really.
@@Lightcode hi this is very helpful for me! struggling to choose from air, pro, and 9th gen. im planning to get 256gb. what do you mean with storage is not enough?

Which iPad is good for students for watching long videos and apps like Instagram and snapchat can be downloaded too .
I have the iPad Pro 6th Generation (12.9 inch) and I literally love it. I even got the keyboard case (from apple) and it’s literally the best like nothing lags and it’s never slow. It’s my laptop and drawing tablet combined and I also love to take notes on it.
I would prefer an older 11 inch I pad pro anytime over the I pad air. Pro motion and quad speakers...
Getting The IPad Air 5 Gen In Color Purple For Christmas!! It’s Gonna Be a Massive Upgrade From My IPad 7 Gen, So Im Super excited to Finally Have it And Use It Next Weekend!
I'm a medical student, I'm using the ipad 9th gen that I got 10 months ago. It's a very capable ipad for studying, gaming, streaming and editing. I recommend it to anyone who wants an ipad that's cheap and powerful
Just ordered the iPad 9, I need to go do a lot but just the higher end ones are quite pricy, i generally have only had android tablets so I hope this is a good purchase cause ill probably use it for studying and gaming if it can handle it
It sure can, my iPad 5 can handle it easy so that will definitely handle it great 👍.
I’m 14 and I bought myself an IPad 10. I want to get into digital art, and the whole Apple Pencil thing doesn’t bother me. Just as long as it can stick to the side it’s fine for me. I absolutely love it though
I have apple ipad air 4th gen. That’s the best affordable ipad I ever used❤
Is the first ipad good? My uncle is giving me one
The iPad 10th gen works good enough 💗
Yeah, I just got mine yesterday. I was doubting my choice, wondering if I should've gone with the air. But I'm thinking I made the right choice as I already had the 1st gen apple pencil from my 6th gen ipad. It seems great. I just want update support for a long time, as I'm not financially able to go out and buy new devices all the time like some of these people lol.
Which ipad is good for students for watching videos and downloading aap like Instagram and snapchat
The best iPad actually is the iPad Pro 11". It combines the power and 120Hz of the 12.9" and the size of the Air 5. 12.9" model is way too heavy and it's not great for using it without the keyboard. It is more like laptop replacement.
Couldn't agree more
Is the 120hz screen worth the extra money?
@@tobiasgvenus for me absolutely yes
@@tobiasgvenus Absolutely, the price difference between M1 Air and M1 Pro is not that big, so 120Hz is the 100% way to go. Afther I bought it and sometimes switch to my MBP 13 with M1 which has a 60Hz screen it looks awful. 😄
No it isn’t a laptop replacement. The 12.9 is for artists who need the xtra space and are used to using Wacom Tablets. It’s a Tablet, no external keyboard required.
But does the iPad 10 has the Apple Pencil itself or u have to buy it and is it connected to Bluetooth?
Between iPad 9 and 10 the 9 is the better choice. It’s basically the same thing but cheaper and has a headphone jack
Does it shoot 4K video?
Who tf cares about a headphone jack bruh my AirPod maxes don’t have headphone wire smh
@@Lightcodeit records at 1080
Cheaper is not equal to more features.
Ohh hard choice … can the pro or air multitask ? Open many windows? I want to use instead of laptop
Or wait for new one ?
Just got 9th gen base IPad with a ZAGG pro keyboard with trackpad for under $350 total. Using for engineering classes and entertainment it’s a great deal imo.
Where shop did you buy it?
i wanna buy one for engineering purpose , such as autocadd and project planning ... would you recommend the same!!
@@pathansazid213 go for ipad air5 if you wanna use autocadd and project planning
Hi, what do you do with all your tech? By any chance, do you resell them for a cheaper price? I am a student and been struggling to keep up with technology advancements in education. ❤
I’m watching this on my new air 5 and I WILL ABSOLUTELY recommend it. It is a great investment although I think u should buy an off brand pencil
if you just wanna write?
Is ipad 2018 pro good for students?
i downgraded from an ipad pro to the ipad mini. having a small ipad when traveling is great.
Are you able to notice the 120 frame difference?
I‘m a student and have the iPad 9th Gen. you just called me a kid :( but when I bought mine, the 10th gen wasn’t out yet and as a student, money is always scarce. but the 9th gen still does a good job!
I bought an iPad Air 5th Gen but I might exchange it for the 2021 12.9 Pro bcuz of the Mini LED display & 120hz. Idc about all the other features
Is the Pro 11" worth it for a Student?
Ipad 9 is also good for school

which ipad i have to buy as a medical student
The best short review.
my ipad pro 12.9 is 2nd gen. Is it worth upgrading?
I bought the iPad 10 and it’s doing what I need it to do.
Hey hi im trying to buy a new ipad, i watch youtube, i use insta, weverse and youtube more to study so should I get Ipad air 5th gen or IPAD PRO 12.9 INCH(6th gen)?
I personally love the minis, I find them to be the perfect "sketchbook" 😂
Will Ipad 9th gen get more software updates? If yes? Any idea for how long?
This is one of the best video advices of all time in less than 2 minutes, unlike on others who kept blasting their stupid accents that I find them too corny
I plan to upgrade my 8th gen to Air M1 someday
Haha happy to help!
Is there a cheaper option for students and artists for iPad other than iPad Air 2020?
Idk but there is always deals for college students in my local apple store i think that might help
Mini or pro tell me 😅
Mini if you don’t need a laptop replacement
@@Lukepuke311 ok
ok so which one is the best for gaming?
I want the best of the best and I have money to burn Lol so the 12.9” M2 iPad Pro is for me.
As an iPad 9 user this iPad is actually really good a device. I use for videos and gaming and the performance was not laggy, and has a long battery life.
I am waiting for my iPad Pro 11 inch M2! I was torn between Air 5 and iPad Pro M2 but I told myself fck it, its going to be my first iPad so why not go to the latest one 😂 also I am using 13 PM so I am used to 120hz 😁
Same problem for me. Theyre both super expensive here in the UK but the difference between air and 11' pro is £150 so might as well just get the better option if im already spending like £800+ on air anyways

is 64gb for 9th gen enough for casual use like social media, web browsing and mid range gaming?
Good evening
Recently, it was time to upgrade my phone.
Which ipad do i buy ipad10 or air 5 for gaming and school
Also, the iPad Air has a laminated screen, which means your interaction with the screen is going to be direct on and everything’s gonna look really good specially since I hate the way it feels to use tablets or phones that don’t have a laminated screen
Can it be used as a graphic tablet for a pc?
I have a iPad Air 2 good or bad choice
Where do you buy it
Just bought the air 5 today and it is
gorgeous I’m in love with it
So does the ipad 10 gen do “the same as “ the air?
Okay I’m looking for an iPad to edit my vlog what you think I’m gonna pick?
Which one is the best for a business purpose?
It’s iPad 10 is a good value now. It’s down to $329 on Amazon and can use the Apple Pencil usb c. The usb c pencil snaps magnetically to the side of the iPad 10 and syncs and charges with a usb c port.
I want to buy the iPad Air 2020 and the price is good for 64 gb But im needing 256 gb and its kinda expensive so i dont know should i get it used or is there a better option
Would you recommend the iPad 10 now that they’ve rolled out the Apple Pencil 2?
They make it super stretched even with the apple pencil charging problem with the usb c and lighting it’s still cheaper then spending 200 dollars more for 70 dollars worth of features
I’ve been thinking about getting the iPad Air 4 for a long time. I’d mostly use it for school and just daily use like I would use my phone should I get it? I also will use the Apple Pencil
is the ipad 3 good
Is the ipad 2020 is 5generation??
Can i use the 8gen ipad for dropshipping? Thanks 😅
I’m watching this on my iPad and it’s the 9th gen and I’ve had for a couple years now
