if you're deciding between apple and samsung, go with samsung. the base model samsung galaxy phones from the last few years support 120hz refresh rate which makes hitting excellent throws sooo much easier. you can't even get 120hz on a new end iphone without going for a pro or pro max. if you're gonna spend that much though, the bigger the better. get an s24 ultra or an iphone16 pro max. bigger screen makes throwing so much easier as well
I use a Mophie case for my phone which is also a powerbank. I also have a 2nd so I can keep one on charge whilst using the other. I find it easier without charge cables everywhere!
You can autocatch with a stylus, i have a popsocket i use to grip my phone in a way that i can use my thumb to hold the berry button (ofc u dont have to use a popsocket its just easier)
