@@brithaddenhadden8383the poll you are referring to was done in 2022, a few years after the movie Bohemian Rhapsody came out and people who never heard of Queen saw the movie.
Those polls come out about every couple if years and the new one from 2024 lists the Rolling Stones as the greater Rick band. Polls change based on how people are feeling at the time. Someone could have just heard a Beatles song and took that poll and said the Beatles were but the next day they could hear Guns and Roses Welcome to the Jungle and think...damn best rock song of all time.
Then there are so many various polls by different people and almost all are different
Each time they change so you can't really judge who is the greatest rock band ever based on polls just like you can't really judge who is the best when there have been great rock bands over the years.

As the group was getting organized, one of them said, “ this will go over like a led balloon”. What is bigger than a balloon, a zeppelin? At your tender young age you will probably have to look up those references.❤ ❤❤ 😂😂

You should check out Tommy Johansson (reinxeed).
He's our swedish Lion from the north! With the voice of an Angel.
He's former guitarist in Sabaton and singer/guitarist in Majestica and does covers every week here on youtube.
He does everything by himself and they're epic!
This week he did Beyonce Texas hold'em. Very fun!
I would also recommend She's gone, You raise me up and Phantom of the Opera. But in reality, every song is amazing!

I see a lot of push for live performances, and some, I admit are very powerful, but please don't miss out on the jaw-dropping greatness of the original studio performances and the stellar quality of the Jimmy Page productions.

Try Led Zepp " stairway to Heven" classic..apparently their name came from a group of famous musicians saying that their music would go down like a lead balloon..Keith moon of the WHO was one of those guys..

Any of the Led Zeppelin live at the BBC videos are amazing. Especially the first album debut (1969).
Led Zeppelin were originally called the New YardBirds after Jimmy Paige put the band together after The YardBirds split up and left him with tour dates to fulfill. Paige renamed it to Led Zeppelin after remembering a comment that Kieth Moon (former drummer in The Who) had made around 1966 about another band he was thinking of forming with Paige saying the band would go over like a lead balloon.

Nice to see young people exposing themselves to real instruments played by skilled artists. The reason you find it compelling is that it has tonal variations, tempo variations, and lyrics that make sense in the song. Also it helps that this is perhaps the most remarkable group that ever recorder music. Stank face is fine, keep making it as you see fit dear. Them as can't handle it can find other videos.

What you never should forget, theses "boys" were about your age at that time and revolutionarized music together with Pink Floyd and The Beatles. This is the holy triumvirat of rock music. Everything that came after until today was more or less infleunced by what they founded 50-60 years ago.

Ah, so this also means you've not heard 'Stairway to Heaven'! Try their live version at Earl's Court 1975. Then try Heart's live version of it with the 3 surviving Led Zep members in the audience, loving it! Then you really have to explore 'Crazy on You' by Heart. So many great female artists for you to discover too. Lucky you! ❤

i know people say their generation had the best music, but for me from 60s through to the 90s you had some epic music being produced and performed, seemed like when we hit 2000s it doesn't have that same feel, i do find bands today that i think are great but they seem to be few and far between, and i listen to everything from rock to hip hop, metal to folk, techno, drum n bass and so many more.

I love watching the younger generations get exposed to Led Zeppelin. They are amazing and we're so Far ahead of any other bands that were coming out at that time. Definitely inspired a lot of bands and loosened things up. And your face is fine I was just watching to see when you finally cracked a smile to know that you were enjoying it. Sometimes if you're trying to listen to the lyrics and the expertise of the musicians you have to just Listen and Don't worry about what your FACE looks like. Good job

"Shake for me girl - I wanna be your backdoor man" - I still don't understand how they got these lyrics past the 1970's FCC censors - This song was on broadcast RADIO for anyone and everyone to hear. Perhaps the band's publicist lied and claimed that the phrase referred to a building egress, but the song makes it crystal clear that the lyrics aren't talking about any buildings... I notice that YOU, "itsprincess" didn't even blink when that phrase came by - You still that innocent, girl? LOL - I'd like to doubt it... And just in case nobody else has told you today, you ARE drop-dead gorgeous!
