This would be an RNG run. Let me explain. Sometimes the ad glitches out and skips it on its own saving up to 12 seconds due to an ad having a time lower than 15 seconds having no skip. This is called the Auto Ad Skip, or AAS. If there are 2 ads, then it would be likely you will need to restart. This is called the Unlucky Double Ad, or UDA. The percentage for an AAS to happen is about 1 times out of 25. The percentage for UDA is 1 times out of 15. There is not yet a known way to manipulate the percentage of a succsessful AAS.

I'm about four months late, heh. I never knew there were so many of these, this is great! We have an Any% on Harvest Moon 64 that is basically forty-five minutes of sleeping until the credits, but it's used as a punishment for messing up during a race of other categories. Four of us were in an all-photos race last christmas to celebrate the anniversary of the game (and the first time that category was completed), but two of us flopped and our punishment was streaming an Any% run.
Shit percent in SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom. The timer starts when you first take control of SpongeBob, and ends when you get to the porta-potty in Kelp Forest and remove SpongeBob's pants using a cheat code. You're apparently allowed to use glitches, but you still need enough golden spatulas to get into Kelp Forest.
Another great one, on the original Animal Crossing for gamecube there is a special event where a ship will take you to an island. As you spend time on this island, your skin will become increasingly darker in increments to simulate a tan. Eventually you'll hit the point where the game will no longer darken your characters skin color. So as you can guess, the speedrun is to start a game and get the darkest tan as quick as possible. I think its called islandtan% but I could be wrong.
Hollow Knight has a bunch of them in "Category Extensions", including: - 105%: For everyone who does a 106% run* and then at the end (when the game shows them their completion after the credits) discovers they forgot something somewhere along the way. Oops. - Zote%: Defeat Zote the Mighty in the Colosseum of Fools.... sort of anyway, noone can truly defeat Zote, since in his mind he is always victorious. - Elderbug%: Deliver a Delicate Flower to Elderbug. There's a dreaded quest to bring a delicate flower all the way across the map without getting hit or using fast travel. You can, however, also choose to deliver it to certain other NPCs, including Elderbug, who is deeply moved by this act of kindness and will wear the flower from there on. - Aluba%: Kill an Aluba. My guess would be this category exists because people often don't realize they're not just part of the background. * Maximum game completion was originally 100%, but later updates added bosses and items that would contribute to completion, thus raising the maximum: the Grimm Troupe update (v1.2) bumped it to 106%, the Lifeblood update (v1.3) to 107%, and finally the Godmaster update (v1.4) to 112%. Of the 1xx% categories, 106% (True Ending, No Major Glitches) is the most popular, perhaps in part because v1.2.2.1 is the most popular version for speedrunning, being the highest version permitted for Any% No Major Glitches (which is the most popuolar category by an order of magnitude).
