normally I'd be really quite embarrassed about watching (and tbh.. thoroughly enjoying) a video about Club Penguin, but this was so well done that I think it'd be weirder if I _didn't!_ 😂
I love when runners refer to themselves in 3rd person in these kind of videos. It makes it less "look at me, look at me" and more "look at all these people who contributed to the community"

Fantastic video, loved the general history and background on the community and such rather than a sole focus on time improvement. Very much enjoyed it :)
Arguably in ASM all routes are equally fast in the limit because of how thin ice works, so the only thing routes can really change is how easy it is to do them perfectly. So unless some teleporter-less route gets discovered I don't think this can go any faster.
This really went into detail about a game I never played, watch streams or speedruns of, and made me feel I've been part of the community since yesteryear. This is great content! Great stuff nhaar, this was really, really good!
Incredible video! I miss the days of coming home from school to play Club Penguin for hours with friends. Thin Ice was always one of the trickiest games (along with Mancala because us 10 year olds could NOT wrap our heads around it). I sunk a lot of time and trial and error into beating it. It's nice to reminisce on these memories, so thanks for that. I miss this game so much haha. All those songs are so nostalgic too. Truly a special game to grow up on.
this video was amazing! it's so incredible that you and andru managed to get the perfect run on asm, this video was so well-scripted, it felt like I was there live
I was surprised to see less than a couple thousands views only on this video, its incredibly well made and interesting to see. I really hope to see more from you if you enjoy making it, I could easily see you racking up the views and subscribers in no time. You definitely have potential to become one of those specialised speedrunning channels like ItsMaximum or Msushi that focus their videos mostly on one or a couple of games, that end up drawing a ton of outside attention to their communities and showing people how interesting they can be.
Amazing video! Incredibly well scripted, making it very fun and to the point. The music choices were great, and I have to give credit to the terrific voice! ;) Very informative. I learned a lot of new and interesting things about Thin Ice speedrunning and the history of the Club Penguin leaderboards in general! Huge shoutout to everyone who worked on this, and Andru for being an absolute champion! (and you too nhaar) Oh btw, Andru, I love your desktop background at 29:30 You got a great taste in games! B)
this was surprisingly engaging. who knew i'd be so invested in a 43 minute video on the history of the speedrunning of a minigame. its something about the different characters and their constantly clashing goals leading to intensifying conflict. im on the edge of my seat seeing who will get the shortest time. great video.
Hey man, sick vid! For the run I did I no joke practiced 2 times before recording b/c i needed to know the levels LOL. I didn't know ppl actually ran this until the current record holder commented on my video. Glad to be a part of this in some small way :).
just had this pop up on my feed at 3am, never would have looked for it on my own but I had to see this entire thing through and ohmyGOD!! absolutely incredible how much time and effort went in to making thin ice fair, accessible and practical for speed running, on top of how much healthy sportsmanship was exhibited between the top runners!! It didn’t seem hostile or aggressive, just a bunch of people who love the game coming together and seeing just how fast they can reach perfection. this was so worth the watch, so so wholesome.
This is a great video! Love it when I get recommended Club Penguin videos, and a speed running scene I had no clue about with a rich history. Keep up the great work!

Genuinely an amazing video on par with Summoning Salt, but even having personal club penguin music was even better for this. Hearing the "I've been delayed" song at the very end got me a little bit. Good job!
What a fun speedrun. This is one of those runs that makes me go 'hey I could do that' but then the runners start approaching frame perfect times and I could no longer do that, then they go the final step and get THE frame perfect time.
Wow! I’m impressed by the video congrats, such an amazing production. É orgulhoso ver brasileiros se destacarem tanto num meio que ainda somos meio invisíveis ❤
Very well done. If ysomeone wonders, to this day there are 20people with perfect runs in any% and only those 2 in 100%. Makes me want to play it again, club penguin was a good time. Thanks for the video!
