    Thanks Doc
    Presentation of all three locations you’ve been working with gives a nice perspective of the range of expected results based on the attention given to each particular lawn. Your viewing audience (me included )definitely appreciates the extra time it takes to get coverage and footage on those other lawns.
    Keep up the great work!

    Hey doc I like your videos I have noticed there have been a few you tuber's that have been doing videos on your super juice and they don't mix it with hot water and they are using it as the only fertilizer and only one application and say it doesn't work just wanted to make you aware I think that they are haters because your lawn looks dam good

    • @HowTowithDoc
      @HowTowithDoc  5 лет назад +8

      When they don't understand the difference between a base granular product (strong soil correction)and a mild supplement... they simply show their lack of basic turf science. It's like comparing a granular (1 pound N per 1000 sq ft) to a supplement. It simply shows the lack of basics. Ignore and move on. Life is good.

    Thanks Doc. Always appreciate your videos. First time homeowner here in Altoona PA and first time working with my lawn. Would love some help with my lawn because I feel like I’m just failing at this whole lawn thing.
    I definitely have a nutsedge problem and lots of weeds.
    Here is what I’ve done so far and I will take any feedback. Please know before I started watching your videos I just went to a box store.
    Did Scott’s summer guard and now parts of my lawn is orange.
    Did Scott’s weed and feed and then realized that I burned it more.
    I then did Scott’s disease x and that did nothing.
    Threw down some of that bio advanced 6 month weed killer and that worked on most of the weeds.
    Got some dr earth organic humid stuff and put that on this week with a fungus control. That actually seemed to work the best.
    Thanks for reading and any feedback!

    I only replanted my lawn this spring. It grew up very thick & lush initially. I was pleased. But then the weather decimated it. I got a fungus. Then the heat stress and drought just ran though my lawn. I pulled up thatch 3 times. Now it's just sparse & thin all over. I intend to repeat the soil conditioning & seed process this fall & next spring hoping it will become better established.. But my question is do I take these steps now or just wait until fall to recondition & plant?

      How To with Doc I’ll definitely try that if we have drought sit back in. I’ll forgo deep watering just to see if those alone will keep it nice and green. I’ve got some localized dry spots that I’d prob need to give more attention to though (they appear only during drought)
