Hey Doc, I see your using that Agri Fab spreader. I bought that Scott’s elite last year when you bought yours. I went to use it this year and the gears had rusted underneath the plastic covering from when I washed it off last fall, was so bummed. Started putting out fertilizer, got half the yard done then it stopped spinning. Guess I might try out the Agri Fab you have there. I used a similar one like that for years before the Scott’s. Good brand.

I bought your Super Juice, put my first application less than a week ago and my lawn is a super dark green. I love it! I'm recommending it to my buddy down the road.

I'm having a crew topdressing and aerate my lawn today. Is it a good idea to put out the organic fertilizer right after that?
Doc, I just put out some Milorganite in my Bermuda lawn. My lawn is not nearly as green this time as it was last year I do not know why. When the rain stops next week I am going to apply some liquid lawn (I tried buying super juice but it’s sold out). Can I also put some iron down? Could I put out some 10-10-10 as well even though I just put down a light milorganite? Love your videos keep it up!

Great video. I'm learning a lot about grass treatment. My yard looks like the yard of the house that has weeds in the back that was in drastic contrast to your treated area. So I guess I should first treat the grass to kill all the weeds first then go through the phases you have done. My grass is centipede, not Bermuda. I'll go through your videos that will educate me about grass treatments, etc. Thanks Oh...10-10-10...got it.
Doc I have been using superjuice for a month and I love this product i am gonna fertilize my lawn with the organic fertilizer this week and use superjuice every week as well. I want to aerate my lawn this week and then fertilize what do u think. I have a lot of questions to ask can I send you my email please.
Doc, love your videos and I just recently subscribed. Started following your lawn care recommendations with the Humic DG last week. I live in central Oklahoma with our wonderful red clay soil. Fortunately, we received about 5 inches of rain since I put that down. Also, just received my first bag of Super Juice and will get that down within the next couple of days. This video really helped me understand what I have been doing wrong with my fertilizer. I had been putting down a special blend with trace nutrients that I can get locally but has 27% nitrogen and using that alone once a month over the past three summers. It worked great the first year but steadily, my lawn has declined and thinned and the dreaded Poa Annua has been increasing (putting down pre-emergent way to late as I now understand). Will be following your plan throughout the year now and looking forward to reviving my lawn. Would like to somehow get you some before and after pictures if possible. Thanks again for investing the time to help guys like me that enjoy doing our own lawn care and having the best lawn in the neighborhood. Appreciate you!
@howtowithdoc Sooooo, my lawn looks exactly like the side you DONT treat and i want it to look like the side you DO treat hahaha... Just did the curtain of death, waited a week, put down PGF with Humic, and started the super juice regimen. Am i on the right track??? Thanks for your amazing info
Is there a new Bermuda grass that stays green longer in the fall/winter? I have a fescue lawn in NC that is difficult to maintain.
What are your thoughts on milorganite?? I have never heard you talk about it or atleast not in your past 4 month videos.

How is this different than soybean meal?
When you put the Super Juice down when there's a rain event..."that day, or that nite" Are you suggesting to put the Super Juice down after the rain event, or put it down just before rainfall? I always thought before the rainfall like we do fertilizer.
Either way.... I leave it on the foliage for 24 hours then water it in.

I’m new at this and I want everybody to talk shit me. I used weed and feed twice this month right before both rain storms. Then I decided to look up lawn care on you tube and immediately felt stupid. Discovered this channel and BYD Bermuda’s channel. I want follow this exact example of super juice, organic fertilizers and 10-10-10. Is it still possible since I drop weed and feed. I did buy super juice on amazon today too. I’m down here in good ol Austin Texas Baby!!!

Cheap walmart rubber boots and a thin jump suit. Throw them away at year end but they can get warm.

We’re in the high 80’s in here in Tennessee. Will hit 90 next week. I failed at getting the weed and feed out when I should have, is it still okay to put down if I water or what fertilize step and weed killing step do you recommend for me now?? Thanks for the help.

Just wondering what settings you use on the spreaders when you say put it down heavy vs light? This is all very new to me but I really enjoy this channel. I only have 8,000 square feet of lawn. Hoping I can get two applications of the organic from one bag.
I have a much smaller yard....empty nesters. Anyways, I was using a low quality Scotts spreader with the PGF and it tipped over on the side yard. I burned the area and it looked just like your burn. The PGF made my lawn super green. We have had a lot of rain in Central Texas. I just received the Duo product because I found one or two grubs. I will be putting it down soon. Anyways, I appreciate the tips.
Doc, I just want to say I’ve been following you for a few months and. I have hybrid Bermuda sod . My yard has changed so much since using your tips and advice ! I’m about to Order the super juice when it’s back in stock. My neighbor let me use 1 dose an can already tell a huge difference. My biggest problem is battling clover !! I’ve pretty much took care of my front yard to rid of it but my sides an back is infested with clover !! What’s the best way to kill it off without damaging my grass? In the front I mainly spent tons of hours pulling it up!! There has to be a better way for the rest of it ! Plus the back has 10 Times as much clover ! It’s ruining my back lawn . Your thoughts ?? What do I do if I am behind the curve on the bermuda calendar? Did not put down pre-emergent, etc. I did use a granular weed and feed turf builder back in late March. Just late to watching your videos.
I have a question.. I unfortunately just got done replacing my septic system, what steps/ products should I use to help get my lawn back to its former glory? I’m going back with fescue. It’s starting to be in the high 80’s and low 90’s here. Thanks for any advice!
I need help deciding what I want. I currently live in Hawaii and was told to go with centipede grass since its low maintenance and chokes out weeds. After watching multiple videos I've been considering restarting my lawn from centipede with Bermuda. Although it is slightly higher maintenance, it does seem to possibly meet my needs of a greener lawn, withstand more traffic, and fill in quickly. Any quick suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Love your videos! Ready to pull the trigger on that Humic and super juice!
Hey there Doc, Great tips. Gonna have to apply some iron soon to get that emerald green you talk about. On another note I still have poana and other weeds in my lawn. It’s about 90% green with SJ at this point. Am I ok to spray some Weed control? It’s a fairly new lawn Summer 2018 so didn’t want to put down too much preemergent and weed control initially. So far I’ve done one app of granular and one spray in the winter/ early spring respectively.
Excellent video Doc! Question, I have a similar situation with some burn spots from a weed killer. I attempted to spot treat and did not dilute enough. Is ok or recommended to still put down 10-10-10, organic and SJ if I have some minor burn out? Thanks.

Doc I just put malorganite down, can I also put down some 10-10-10?
Josh Fortner you’ll be ok to do that. Milorganite is slow release (it’s no longer organic) and it shouldn’t burn. I still throw down the milo heavy, then whatever fert I’m using for the season.
Josh Fortner yes. You can apply Milorganite with anything. What Doc was suggestion with SuperJuice, Organic, and 10-10-10 was a “now, in a bit, later” approach. Your Milorganite is a Later, if you put down 10-10-10 it’s more of an In A Bit.

H I help me please I live n Kansas City I put down pre merg last fall & this February dandelion came up like crazy what happened???
I use a dithiopyr product in the spring. I still get dandelions. I have to spot spray. I believe that some pre emergents do not prevent them. You need to spot spray them with a 2-4D product. That should kill the weed within 7-10 days.

Doc I put down Scott;s weed & feed about 3 weeks ago on common bermuda. I live in upstate South Carolina. Can I put down 10.10.10 now or should I wait?
I live in the upstate as well. I started the season with Scott's weed and feed (before I found Doc). One month later I put out Humic acid, Anderson's PGF, and 10-10-10. It's booming. The weed and feed killed the chick weed and most of the dandelions, but now I have clover and crabgrass. I'm going to now hit it with Bayer advanced weed killer. After that I'm going to start Super juice. Hope this helps.

Hi, Doc. Question for you here. I do not have Bermuda, I have a Centipede lawn. I put down an 18-0-18 Lesco fertilizer on April 15th. Would applying a 10-10-10 fertilizer be okay? Thanks, Sir.
I would def get a soil test done to check the levels before I did.

Quick question - I don't think you mentioned it in the video....When you talk about putting down Super Juice - what mixing ratio are you doing 14-2-4 or 7-1-2?
He mentions in the spring when it isnt warm put 14-2 ratio and in the summer 7-1 ratio is a slower realese formula

Don't know about seed, but if it is sod you have to wait about 21 days. Because sod already has enough fert for 3 weeks. After that you can start fert. i just did and all seems good to go
