    Nice build. Just finished mine using a Yaesu FT-991, Radioiddy GM25 and Radioiddy CB27. It's designed for EmComm. Used same box.

    That is a nice setup. I built mine into a 6U Gator box, and for USB I installed USB A to B panel adapters so that I can plug a USB cable from the go kit to my laptop. I actually ran my power supply's power cord through a grommet just like you did with your USB cable.

    Very nice build John , you do very clean work. Thinking of using the same box for a build using my FT991A, you gave me some good Ideas.

    Hi John, Great video and love what you did with your go box. I too I'm a Air Force Vet, (Retired) hence my call sign KF4RAF. I was looking into building a similar box and was curious about the dimensions of the rear cover panels or if you still have the link to where you purchased them. Thanks in advance. Phil-KF4RAF

      Hey. Thanks for watching. Yes, the panels can be found on Amazon. Just type in 19in rack panels, shelves, drawers, etc for different product. I even bought the box off Amazon. The box is a Gator 4U box. 4u means it will fit 4 single slot units. Hope this helps. Good luck de K3AFV

    John what is the box you did your build in? Is it on wheels? How about the rack panels?

    • @johnw9557
      @johnw9557  3 года назад

      The case is from the Gator company. The size is a 4U. Meaning 4 units. It does not have wheels. It does have 2 handles. One on each side. I am using 1 HD rack on the front bottom. The top of the racks is a 1U power conditioner and external lights. The rack system is a standard 19in system. Thanks for watching. 73
