Hank Snow I Don't Hurt Anymore Lyrics
It don't hurt anymore
All my teardrops are dried
No more walkin' the floor
With that burnin' inside
Just to think it could be
Time has opened the door
And at last I am free
I Don't Hurt Anymore.
No use to deny I wanted to die
The day you said we were through
But now that I find you're out of my mind
I can't believe that it's true
I've forgotten somehow
That I cared so before
And it's wonderful now
I Don't Hurt Anymore.
No use to deny I wanted to die
The day you said we were through
But now that I find you're out of my mind
I can't believe that it's true
I've forgotten somehow
That I cared so before
And it's wonderful now
I Don't Hurt Anymore.
Dear Hank, I drove all over this country and listened to all kinds of music back in the early 70's but for whatever reason, this song was one of the few that always made me feel good, especially late at night in wide open country. And, I would slip a quarter in the jukebox whenever I saw it in a truckstop. I'm 73 now and looked it up and happy that RUclips had it.
Ole Hank is entertaining the angels now.
This is REAL country music, this stuff today is country rock. The performers need to watch and listen to people in the era of Hank, Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Wilburn Brothers, etc etc.
Beautiful performance as always from Hank but can't help notice that gorgeous artwork behind him.
My mom loved his music.
I remember that when I was five years old.
grew up on this
Love Hank.. & some of his Hawaiian music too
Hank Snow you are a legend
Non no better than Hank.
So sweet! Thank you
Great Song.
Always be a fan
Why I don't have a whole bunch more of Hank Snow, I don't know...but I'm working on it. I quit listening to country radio in the late seventies, because too much of it wasn't really country anymore. It was a mistake, probably, because I kinda forgot about Hank Snow, except when playing the one record from the early sixties that has a song of his, but all the music was from the fifties. I'm mostly familiar with his stuff from the fifties and sixties. That's fine, just means I get to hear a huge pile of music I hadn't heard before...
Rare
Bob Dylan did a version of this song on the Extended Basement Tapes. It's more rollicking, looser. ala John Cash feel of Big river in my opinion. great song by both artists.
I know this song by Dina Washington's version. It's also a great cover👌
Guitar pickers wanting to learn Hank's guitar solo from this live version, may wish to check this tutorial complete with tab: ruclips.net/video/opbXFZ0m0Z4/видео.html
Wow! First time I ever saw Hank when he wasn’t wearing a Nudie’s suit!

Was thinking the same thing, If only they had Megadeth on the gta radio.
