SAITEK Control Panel - Switch repair

You have a problem switching between ALT - HDG - IAS - NAV because turning the switch is hard and requires a gorilla grip? Watch this!

I have constantly had problems with these knobs binding up on me. Not only the multi-panel as shown here but I was also having problems with the engine switch binding on the Saitek switch panel. This fix worked perfectly for both of these. I can't believe how simple it was.

This is the correct method . My control switch sized up till I could not turn it. a half second spray of WD40 and it is back to normal. all this can be done without removing the panel from the cockpit.
