    Im new to Cubasis 3. When I load KB-1 in the Midi Effects, I am not getting any sound. However, when I turn the Midi Effects power off, the sound works just fine. Can you help me out??
    Thanks for your videos! You are making huge difference!

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 года назад

      Once you enable KB-1 you'll only be able to trigger sound with the midi from the KB app itself. So for example if you're using a midi controller you'll want to make sure that you enable that controller within the KB-1 app.

    • @kickman18
      @kickman18 3 года назад

      @@MobileMusicPro Thank you for the quick response. So, when I have Acoustic Piano up as the instrument, and KB-1 accessed in Midi Effects, what do I need to choose in settings? I have a Bluetooth keyboard (NanoKey Studio) but I was using the keyboard on my iPad.

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 года назад +1

      @@kickman18 As we said in the previous comment once KB-1 is active the instrument cannot receive midi from anything else but kb-1, that includes any additional midi keyboards on your iPad. I'm not sure where the midi options are in kb-1 to configure your bluetooth kb but I'm sure they're not hard to find. Look around the options menus.

    What if you own odesi for desktop already? Is it free? I have Scaler 2 for ios but I’m looking for something more simple that allows you to have a keyboard with just the notes from the scale being used. Any suggestions?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  Год назад +1

      Nope you'll have to pay for Odesi again on iOS. Scaler 2 is the best app for that, to just play notes in scale you'd enable the keys-lock button, you can even make it so you only need to worry about the white keys to play any scale.

    • @AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69
      @AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69 Год назад

      @@MobileMusicPro Yeah it's a pretty intricate piece of software to grasp fully. Do you explain what you just said in your video on Scaler 2 ios? I don't know if I understand what you mean. I would like to use my synth for the sound source on Cubasis and even that isn't really clear to me on this. I use Logic Pro and Captin Chords Epic just for the Chords and it's easily straightforward but on this you have to know chord inversions without a visual or find a progression from a title of someone I've never even heard of. Idk scaler for me isn't user friendly and honestly kind of sucks.

    • @AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69
      @AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69 Год назад

      Also Odesi doesn't seem to allow you to which notes like a piano roll. The only option is whatever is in the scroll bar thing. Total crap just like it's desktop except you can use it more like a piano roll I think. Idk I own it and only used it a few times.

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  Год назад +1

      @@AFRoSHEENT3ARCMICHAEL69 Yes I do explain that in the video. You might also try ChordJam by audiomodern.

    Is there nothing that lets me input any chord progression (Suggester) and then put a simple melody over it?
    Thx!

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  4 года назад +2

      You can always export the chord progression from suggestor or any other chord creating app like Odesi into a DAW like Cubasis and then record melodies over the top of that. So one track would be the chord progression and one track would be the melody, very simple.

    • @dukedex5043
      @dukedex5043 2 года назад +1

      @@MobileMusicPro Tonality is only for apple, and looking up scaler doesn't seem to preview chord progressions like chordchord. Is there anything I can use to select C chord lydian that plays it out out as a preview, so I can then select phrygian and listen, then chance C to Db etc?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  2 года назад

      @@dukedex5043 If you're looking for android apps I have no idea, this entire channel is mostly for iOS since android doesn't support AUv3. Because of this the vast majority of mobile music production is done on iOS devices.

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  3 года назад

      The apps featured in this video are all for iOS. You'd have to individually check if they're available on android and odds are they are not. Android is not optimized for music production and thus is not what we recommend to create mobile music production with.

    You left all the rest of us out that have android. We make music too. Why all apple products? Letdown

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  2 года назад

      Because android does not support the AUv3 standard and therefore will not support any additional apps inside a DAW like a traditional music production workflow. In addition to this android has serious latency issues when it comes to audio. You can find out more from Andrew Huang here ruclips.net/video/-sPbcTcUmcI/видео.html

    • @NickJess7880
      @NickJess7880 2 года назад

      @@MobileMusicPro so basically you're alienating us because of latency issues and the opinion that "all" android based daws aren't basically sophisticated enough to create good music? With respect as a teacher don't you want to educate everyone with passion to make music despite the platform? That's also alot of lost subscribers. I would just ask that you broaden your base to us as well. I do respect what you're doing.

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  2 года назад

      @@NickJess7880 I'm not alienating anyone as 99% of my tutorials will work for android versions of the apps (but of course there are very few music apps on android in the first place). No one is saying you can't create good music on an android device but I am saying there isn't NEARLY as many tools or apps available on android as there is on iOS thus making it an inferior platform on at technical level. I assure you the amount of people on android making music is a less than a fraction of a percent of the people making music on iOS devices :)
