      I wanted to take advantage of your gracious offer but when I went to check out I couldn’t get the keyboard to pop up on my iPad. I tried everything. Just FYI

      @@MrKKmusic Ahh yah that's an iOS thing, nothing to do with our website, it's really strange how sometimes the kb doesn't pop up, sometimes in certain apps I can't get it to pop up either so for the studio I actually ended up buying a small little mobile keyboard (obviously the magic keyboard from apple would be ideal but too expensive for me).

    Duuuuuuuuuude! You said something a couple of times in this video, about being more familiar with certain apps. I think because iOS apps are so cheap we tend to collect them and have several that do the same thing. So the one you’ve used a lot and got familiar with is the one that does the job. We don’t always need the best one - we need to spend time with what we have. :)

    • @MobileMusicPro

      Totally agree Jamie! :)

      So cheap? Most of these apps are 15+$ EACH. this library is in the 4 digits. It costs more than an iPad Pro. I see a problem, not advice.

    • @JamieMallender
      @JamieMallender 10 месяцев назад

      @@necroowl3953 to buy equivalent software for pc is always much more expensive than iPad. So these apps are cheap by comparison to the standard price point most musicians are familiar with. Because they cost so much less on iOS there is a tendency to buy a lot we don’t need - like collectors, not just, trying to find the best one and buying that.

    …also, please give a close listen to Syntronic. There’s a vocal, if not loud group (including me) that believes it’s just the one or two underlying engines with just different interfaces to give the mere appearance that you’re emulating the real device. I wrote a 1-star review calling it a sham and wrote emails to the developer. You could hear a pin drop in response. I’d love to hear your thoughts since you’re a user.
    Many thx!

      It could be but either way it's an awesome app with many hundreds of fantastic presets. IK Multimedia has been around a while and I've used their apps for years so I have no reason to think they're scamming anyone without hard evidence :)

    Hey, iPad music production noob question!
    Are you using it with an audio interface? What are your tips to stay always on the low latency spectrum to play live flawlessly?

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  2 года назад +1

      Hey! Yes I'm most certainly using an audio interface. Everything I'm using you can find at mobilemusicpro.com/gear. iPad is super fast so not much actual latency to worry about other than making sure you freeze some tracks sometimes in your DAW :)

    what would you recommend for the best daw to do ambient work on an ipad? i'm tempted to go with Komplete for the sounds and logic on a mac, but id rather stay on ipad. can i get a pro ambient set up and mix on ipad? thanks

      Really any modern DAW on desktop or iOS can create amazing music in any genre, it's simply up to the producer's knowledge. Some prefer a more modular approach with apps like AUM or Loopy Pro but personally I much prefer Cubasis to produce/record all my music in.

    • @rogerisold

      @@MobileMusicPro One more question for you. I like to tap out rhythms with my fingers. Is there a way to convert that to say a midi track? record live, and then somehow get it into an app and change the sounds for what i tapped to say drums. thx

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  Год назад

      @@rogerisold Well every drum app usually has pads you can tap on, just need to hit the record button to record the MIDI.

    Thanks for this video, I had more of an idea of what apps to get from your video. And what is the difference between audioshare and Sample Rate. AudioShare seems to be the iOS music app standard for filing, but you said u use sample rate more And Dropbox seems to be recommended by some apps too, is Dropbox a like audioshare. Also sample rate is only 2$ which is awesome. I was looking into getting audioshare for Audiobus but am really considering sample rate (which I heard of from you)……(EDIT CORRECTION- SAMPLE CRATE not Sample Rate, I spelled wrong) And it’s 3$ im just gonna buy both of them, cuz 3$ ain’t problem

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  Год назад

      Yah I use sample crate more now since I prefer the UI a bit more, plus I also prefer the MIDI preview more in sample crate as well. It's really a great app and has since replaced audioshare for me.

    Wow..u collect apps like I collect effects pedals. Mostly I’m pulling beats from splice be it a loop or a shot- speaking of shots-I do use nektar midi controller-suite of sample tank, amplitude, mixbox.. I keep struggling with cubasis so I’m going to stick with garbageband. I have had songs entirely produced off my iPad via GarageBand be used for commercials, RUclips mtn bike… I really don’t think people care as long as it sounds good and I really can’t tell much of a difference- terrible ears for that. Guitar parts I play with- get this a guitar same with bass. Great content as usual sir have a great day

    • @MobileMusicPro
      @MobileMusicPro  2 года назад

      Hah yah apps tend to be a bit cheaper than pedals :) That's so awesome to hear your iPad work has gone onto do great things. Indeed the average listener doesn't care as long as it sounds good which is what I'm trying to convince a new generation of producers to understand.

    Fantastic - just what I was looking for to round out my iOS tools collection. I've got a lot of these, but I see a few that look very interesting.
    A couple questions: First you mention exporting MIDI from Groovebox at ruclips.net/video/-U5HzxZxjbw/видео.html but I only see audio export options.
    Second, I see you have Drum Session. It doesn't respond to screen taps from my iPad Pro 2021 model, but it does work on my iPad Mini 4 - does it work in your rig (it doesn't show on your gear page)?
