Why is everyone saying that the now march event is delayed? They never announced it or the release of the new iPad‘s so it can’t be delayed. If these "experts" are saying they are coming but they are not, it‘s not delayed by Apple but just wrong information from the "experts"
hey max tech what if all of this speculation for wwdc is the next gen iphone se 4 and iphone se 4 plus because apple has been delaying the iphone se 4 since 2022
I felt it when Max got a M2 Studio for the team, then a few months later the M3 was released on the MacBook and beat the M2 in different areas. It would make sense to release the top end first.
WWDC is always the best event each year. They really need to give Siri a new AI brain.
When Apple announced it was moving to its own silicon, they did cite that they wanted to not be dependent on Intel releases to dictate their release schedule. So it is possible that M4 comes less than a year after M3. Although I doubt that’s actually what’s going to happen.
As a iPhone 15 Pro buyer I will be pissed if some of the AI features will be exclusively available for the iPhone 16 Pro.
As an iPhone XS Max owner, I just want the update to come to my phone lol
Most of it will be available, but there will be exlucisive onboard ai features for the 16 series, just hope it wont be the same thing eith samsung where its only free for a bit

I always liked the idea of "picture-in-picture" but video is always way darker than regular screens. So either I can't see the movie/show I'm trying to watch cause it's too dark or I blind myself looking at Google Docs with the screen brightness turned up enough to see the movie/show in the pip window. Does this "Mini-LED" stuff help with this problem? Or would "OLED" help?

New iPad Air with m3 chip, and iPad Pro with m4 chip? Is it possible?If they did that I might wanna upgrade m1 iPad Pro to m4... but I don't think so, that could upgrade regularly as we expect.
I think it is time to update mini led display soon, to improve that very slow pixel response time, and bit more brightness, it is almost the same as old 500nits LCD on sunlight, could be little bit better.
Regarding M4, I wonder if Apple will produce pure p-core variants for the Mac Studio with its superior cooling and mixed P-Core / E-Core variants for a forthcoming Mac Mini and MB Pros which would according to rumors be released in the October / November time frame.
I must have missed this but when should we expect an M4 Max Mac Studio?

My only question for iPadPro at WWDC, Wouldn't the AI feature on the M4 still be reserved for iPadOS 18 in Sept? I don't quite see Apple pushing AI abilities & features on the iPad in June, leaving every other product in the dust until Sept. I do personally believe we will get iPads next month, iPadOS 18 reveal in WWDC showcasing the full power of the M4.
They need to release a cheap game console with m4(handheld). Thus creating a gaming base for future Macs
or even an apple tv "pro" with m4 for regular home gaming like on an xbox or ps5
Some may be wanting to see new gaming updates in this event just like the event that introduced Game Porting Toolkit.

Should be 218 PPI no matter what the size is.
MacBooks got more than 218 PPI. Why? Because they wanna fit as much as possible into that small 13", 14" and so on.
iMac 27" 5K was 218 PPI
iMac 24" M1/M3 is 218 PPI
Studio Display 27" is 218 PPI
Pro Display XDR 30" is 218 PPI
Desktop Macs = 218 PPI
Laptop Macs = above 218 PPI (built-in displays)
We had a rumor 2 years ago or so about a 7K display and we've not seen that display yet. Maybe Apple wanna bring us an 8K display instead. Should be 218 PPI. We can only wait and see.

The AppleTV platform changes very very little model to model. It simply runs apps that stream for the most part. I wouldn’t wait.

What if Apple doesn't use the M series at all and moves to build a simple 8 core 4P/4E Chip with more efficient GPU cores for the iPad. This way they can move the M4 to something other than the 4/4 to something like 4P/6E or whatever. Apple might just introduce a new iPad chip the P1 or whatever name they put on it. Basically upscaling the A17 Pro for the iPad pro line moving away from the Mac chips to differentiate them in a new SOC segmentation for tablets.

Releasing the flagship chip with the highest price tag and the most performance first and then working their way down the lineup is how nVidia has been doing things for years. It makes sense.
Apple stock is dropping because slowing sales in China.
I think folks are also watching their spending due to high interest rates and inflation. I don't think dropping an M4 in to an iPad is going to change that. If they want more sales I think a price drop is the surest way to achieve that.

@@satxrnhimselfMuch better chip, On-device AI, 48MP ultra wide lens, bigger screen, probably better and newer battery tech., more future proof and it’s only 5 months away. Save the money, if you didn’t like the updates, you get get the 15PM even cheaper. That’s why, if you can wait. I have the 15PM, love it, wish i can update to the 16PM, but will have to wait 2 more years for 3y cycle, if they didn’t have a major feature that intrigues me.
Mini led display is better than oled its long debate but if i cut it short mini led has brighter didplay and clearer display which i like the most.Oled have better black images

It would be a nice turning point and in fact an iPad Pro with M3 presented in 2 months, would immediately become old if from WWDC24 all the attention would be paid to the AI and the M4 series designed for this.
Over all sales are down for Apple and Microsoft computers. Even phone sales are down over all for smart phones with the exception of small bursts here and there with sales. The bottom line is all businesses suffer in a bad economy with the cost of gas prices, housing and food going up. You would think it being an election year gas would come down for starters. You will continue to see sales decline as the cost of living go up. AI in a computer won’t help.

Now I'm actually starting to believe that Siri is really getting a boost. I have been disappointed so many times that I did not dare to believe that Apple would do something about the problem. But there were also several other excited speculations that seemed credible.

Thanks for this interesting video. I don‘t think that the more powerful Apple Silicon chips, which will come this summer, will be called M4 Max and M4 Ultra, even if they are basing on the new TSMC 3 nm process and get new internal numbers. I believe that Apple follows its typical M-chip development cycle, i.e. M3 Max and M3 Ultra are coming some month after the release of M3 and M3 Pro.
To my opinion the AI improvements are primarily related to software, especially when thinking on Siri. Of course the new Max and Ultra chips will get more powerful Neural Engines. Without improving the AI related software, this would only increase speed, but not the quality of the results.
ALOT of it, will be announced at WWDC, it’s all software I care about.
The iPhone 16 Pro IS THE LAST MODEL of triplets. iPhone 14 Pro, 15 Pro, 16 Pro. All bundled together. Like iPhone 11 Pro, 12 Pro, 13 Pro.

The next big iPhone changes are “17 Pro” & whatever Apple names “iPhone 20 Pro”.
If the pro gets the m4 then the new airs have to come with the m3. Hopefully they revamp iPadOS.
Wouldn't be surprised if we see no hardware at WWDC, the AI overhaul might take up everything, and I think they want everything new to be M4, which will not be ready in qty until fall. I see a major event in October, multiple products, that gives them time to work in the new operating system with AI. Putting out hardware before the new OS might not be optimal since M4 is most likely going to be optimized in the new OS coming in the fall.
Apples share price has been pretty stable over the last 6 months, not sure where you get your data from

Yeah none of that ipad stuff is happening. It just becomes too confusing to consumers if all these products release with different chip numbers.
But i can believe ipads at wwdc. M3 ipad pro, m3 mac mini, m3 ultra mac studio.
Ipad air is the wild card. It can come out at the same event, but for the same reason of chips and preventing product confusion-- theyre not gonna release it with m2. So its an m3 chip also or maybe the a17 pro. Last option is they do its a site release so they dont have to mention how a "new product" gets an old chip.
Apple stock is down due to lower than expected iPhone sales. Lack of A.I. shouldn't matter much in terms of hurting revenue. A.I. is being hyped to ridiculous levels thanks to foolish investors. WWDC won't help Apple's share price. Apple just needs to sell more products. M4 products won't help much if consumers don't have money to spend. Siri could use some A.I. help but a better Siri won't make Apple turn into an A.I. company. Apple doesn't seem wholly committed to A.I. as most tech companies are and I think that's a good thing. Apple shouldn't waste money on something that will be very difficult to monetize in a glutted A.I. market.

i wouldn’t mind a M4 Mac Studio, because that’s the Mac i want to get…but, i reckon they will lead with the iphone..and whatever they present at WWDC, will only be selling after September, meaning..after the iphone.
but let’s wait and see. the speculations here make ..some..sense, specially the serial/model numbers…albeit not very logical.

No, the "analysts" are just wrong and making guesses. It's the only way they stay relevant. That said, I said a couple months ago that we'd get M4 devices at WWDC and was laughed off cause "Apple always waits a year and a half between AS generations" (despite the release gap objectively getting shorter each time). Now everyone is proving me right.
