This naturally black pasta without squid ink is made by adding charcoal to a simple water and flour based pasta dough. Homemade pasta is easy to make and this recipe only requires water, flour and salt. For the beautiful black colour, all you need is a teaspoon and a half of activated charcoal powder. It's easy, plant based and really stands out in pasta dishes. So, there you go, vegan black pasta, no squid ink required!
