Between saving the confit oil, and eating the ravioli that didn't quite come together off camera, I really appreciate how Alvin tries not to waste food.
I love that you showed the full process, including the mistakes as you learned what worked and what didn't. Cooking, and especially baking, are very intimidating and seeing that the experts have a tough time with it too is very endearing and makes cooking more accessible
Thank you for showing us your “failures” (that weren’t actually failures, they just weren’t 100% perfect). That helps us home cooks not get so down on ourselves.
Having made all ~80 dishes, I cannot wait to see how many more things will be made I absolutely adore Stardew Valley, its genuinely a game I think everyone should experience.
Great video! If you guys ever want to make something else from Stardew I suggest Strange Bun, Magic Rock Candy or Spicy Eel, they're all well known foods from Stardew that would be interesting to see get recreated.
@@blastdragon1991 Depending on your definition of "weird", that's really a matter of opinion lol. I think it'd be pretty weird to see pitch black lasagna.
next time you make ravioli you should try using a stamp instead of the mold. it's a bit faster imho and the results are way more forgiving when it comes to sticking/deforming the nice square stamps.
Oh man I'm so glad you made this - Stardew Valley is my favourite game and this means everything to me. It'd be amazing if you did more in the future! All hail Alvin!
at first i skipped the alvin episodes cause i just wanted to watch some plain ol babish, but only two episodes in and he's really growing on me! keep it up :)
I like that this video shows the process of working with stuff that you're not familiar with. It takes a lot of experimenting and trial and error til you get it right.
So glad you got Stardew Valley on the Babish universe! I love that game, and these ravioli look delicious! Although the ravioli maker kinda killed me inside, but that's on me and my Italian heart I guess 😂
As someone with over 300hrs of game play time who was told by their therapist that this is addict behaviour and that I should reconsider the joy that this game brings me.... I would like to see more recipes from Stardew Valley please >__
Stardew Valley is my go to “I need to relax” game. It’s nothing overly complex, and the music is so soothing. Sometimes I turn the music off and play my own music in the background. Farming while listening to “Raging on a Sunday” has such a weird juxtaposition, but I love it. Also, if Andrew’s mistakes become future “Botched by Babish” episodes, then do Alvin’s become “Accidents by Alvin”? 🤔
One of my favorite games. Would be interesting if you made your take on sea foam pudding which takes a Flounder, midnight carp and squid ink. Forgot to mention the dish is a blue bowl and the food is green (like pudding texture)
❤ Stardew Valley!!! I hope you make more recipes from the game! I'm curious about the fiddle head fern recipe in particular. Never had those so I wondered what it tastes like!
Dang, I never thought a recipe from a game would make it on here, let alone one from Stardew Valley! I definitely would love to see more recipes from Stardew Valley be made.
This cannot be a coincidence I just got the game like a month ago for the first time and I have been playing it pretty much every day since and then all of a sudden I see this video from a channel I watch all the time
Stardew Valley is one of my most played games, especially around 2018, and I’m glad to see it on this show. Now to make Fried Calamari so the shopkeeper can finally be friends with us.
Can you do another Pokemon video like either: Team Rocket's Spicy Dishes- Pallet Party Panic Mallow's Fluffy Poni Radish Burger Jessie's Pokepuff from Performing with Fiery Charm
Between saving the confit oil, and eating the ravioli that didn't quite come together off camera, I really appreciate how Alvin tries not to waste food.
I’d love to see you guys make the Pink Cake from Stardew Valley and see how you guys include the melon in the recipe 🎂🍉
YES
That is an excellent idea! ♥️
Same. Melon cakes are apparently not all that uncommon in Asian cuisine though, so it’s not as out there as you may think.
This
I really want to see fiddlehead risotto, because I passed by some the other day at the market and really wanted to try them
A stardew recipe series would smash
Farming with Farkle
Stardew with Salvin
Stardew with Valley
hotel with trivago
All these replies acting like i dont want to watch it here 🙄
Sea Foam Pudding is a pretty odd stardew recipe I'd love to see them try and make
Or lucky lunch!
YESSS
Stardew Valley is literally a gold mine of dishes perfect for this channel! Please make more!!!
I’d love to see more iconic Stardew Valley recipes from you!!
Lucky Lunch!
@@vanguardiris3232 that or seafoam pudding would be cool!
Pink Cake
Or maybe the Farmer's Lunch
I'd love to see more Babish on the babish channel.
The Strange Bun or maybe the Field Snack are the ones I most want to see
Mad respect to Rachel for hard carrying all the kneading action
I love that you showed the full process, including the mistakes as you learned what worked and what didn't. Cooking, and especially baking, are very intimidating and seeing that the experts have a tough time with it too is very endearing and makes cooking more accessible

"We're going to blitz this with an immersion blender" _begins whisking_
That's technically immersion and blending
You can do a whole stardew valley episode with how many recipes there are.
Would like to see your take on pepper poppers and field snacks
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE ALVIN. What does the dough feel like…
It feels like dough
Having made all ~80 dishes, I cannot wait to see how many more things will be made
I absolutely adore Stardew Valley, its genuinely a game I think everyone should experience.
You mean made as in like, in real life? Or in the game?
Great video! If you guys ever want to make something else from Stardew I suggest Strange Bun, Magic Rock Candy or Spicy Eel, they're all well known foods from Stardew that would be interesting to see get recreated.
you want some luck i see
"Ain't no way this is gonna stick to that" famous last words before disaster
The vibes on this series are always immaculate
I love Stardew Valley! I remember playing that for the first time years ago and I never looked back. I still play that game to this day
0:48 he learned his lesson with the minecraft cake
I appreciate you showing the whole process, failures and all. Much more engaging and helpful!
Now all we need to do is to make every pasta “squid inked”
Macaroni and cheese… And add squid ink.
@@someguy7114 I wanted to say lasagna but your idea is weirder (and I want to see squid ink mac and cheese more).
@@blastdragon1991 Depending on your definition of "weird", that's really a matter of opinion lol. I think it'd be pretty weird to see pitch black lasagna.

Always look forward to a new Alvin video and this gives me courage to try and make ravioli again!
okay now you HAVE to make almost all the weird stardew recipes like seafoam pudding, strange bun, and the lucky lunch!
"Blitz this with an immersion blender"
*Smashes with whisk*
“Blitz this with an immersion blender”
*violent whisking*
Oh man I'm so glad you made this - Stardew Valley is my favourite game and this means everything to me. It'd be amazing if you did more in the future! All hail Alvin!
I am simple.
I see Stardew valley and I click like
I'm obsessed with stardew right now. Perfect timing!
It's such a gem of a game!
at first i skipped the alvin episodes cause i just wanted to watch some plain ol babish, but only two episodes in and he's really growing on me! keep it up :)
I always enjoy seeing recipes with Squid Ink in them
I imagine it's a lot more editing work but I always appreciate it when the less perfect inital attempts are shown
I like that this video shows the process of working with stuff that you're not familiar with. It takes a lot of experimenting and trial and error til you get it right.
So glad you got Stardew Valley on the Babish universe! I love that game, and these ravioli look delicious! Although the ravioli maker kinda killed me inside, but that's on me and my Italian heart I guess 😂
I’d love to see a take on seafoam pudding!
Alvin I'm so glad you covered this! I love Stardew and always wanted to see how the recipes work IRL!
Eric Barone would be so happy to see you make recipes from your game!

I saw this video and screamed, thanks for doing some Stardew Valley content!
Soon this will be Alvin culinary universe and I'm ok with that
I never unlocked this meal 🤔 What about Strange Bun next 😀
Love that Alvin went “idk how to describe this but I wanna eat more” which is an objectively better description than most actual food critics
One of my favorite games. Would be interesting if you made your take on sea foam pudding which takes a Flounder, midnight carp and squid ink.
Forgot to mention the dish is a blue bowl and the food is green (like pudding texture)
Always love to see an Anime or Arcade with Alvin episode!
There's no way all that tomato skin in the ravioli is texturally pleasing.
Some tomatoes have a very thin skin. Idk about these though.
2:21 "...and kinda feels like a-"
A WHAT ALVIN??
love this sm thank yall for having this kind of variety
Thank you for showing the little mess ups and showing that cooking is not all perfect :)
I LOVE YOU ALVIN THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY
❤ Stardew Valley!!! I hope you make more recipes from the game! I'm curious about the fiddle head fern recipe in particular. Never had those so I wondered what it tastes like!
ive been obsessed with stardew valley for the past months im so happy seeing this video
Yayyyyy! I love Stardew Valley! Thanks so much Alvin!
I can't believe I missed this for over a week! I would LOVE to see something like the Roots Platter, Lucky Dish, or Autumn Dish!
Rachel after seeing you make another dough in the processor: 😮😮😮
2:21 Feels like WHAT Alvin? 😀
Dang, I never thought a recipe from a game would make it on here, let alone one from Stardew Valley! I definitely would love to see more recipes from Stardew Valley be made.
Seeing the whole process, this looks like it would taste really delicious.
awesome, another episode of gaming with gavin!
This cannot be a coincidence I just got the game like a month ago for the first time and I have been playing it pretty much every day since and then all of a sudden I see this video from a channel I watch all the time
Would love to see this become a series for Stardew Valley!
Looks amazing the ravioli that you made! Like a lot the squid pasta that you made and the filling it’s so delicious! Love it! 🦇
We all need a Rachel in the kitchen with us 😂
This would be a great Halloween recipe.
Stardew Valley is one of my most played games, especially around 2018, and I’m glad to see it on this show. Now to make Fried Calamari so the shopkeeper can finally be friends with us.
Ah yes, squid ink, a perfect addition to any meal
It is delicious
Love the aesthetics of eating an oil spill
really appreciate all the trial and error being shared in video
Yesss love stardew valley I’ve always wanted to eat some of the food from it
Wow, my favorite game and my favorite cooking show hanging out without me!!!
I’d love to see you do Tom Kha Soup from this game
Pay money for ypu guys to make EVERY recipe in stardew tbh
Such an unexpected recipe, great job!
This makes me so excited!
Love Stardew Valley and I totally want to eat this!
Yes! I'm so happy to see my favorite game of all time on this channel! Love the content so much, keep it coming.
Squid Ink Ravioli: A Taste of the Ocean in Every Bite
If y'all ever run out of "trendy anime food'" way of the house husband is pretty much a gold mine
This is something i would love to try my hand at.
I just boiled the ravioli in some water with food coloring in it. Worked fine
For the colour, probably. But that does nothing for the taste.
we need a stardew valley series!
I’ve been looking for squid ink for weeks
Yay I was hoping for a stardew recipe soon! I’d love to see more one day. Maybe lucky lunch or spicy eel
Can you do another Pokemon video like either:
Team Rocket's Spicy Dishes- Pallet Party Panic
Mallow's Fluffy Poni Radish Burger
Jessie's Pokepuff from Performing with Fiery Charm
Could you make either Pink Cake, Seafoam Pudding or (the speedrun MUST!) Spicy Eel?
Yes! Now you have to do ALL OF THEM! (yum)
You found a ★stardrop! It's strange, but the taste reminds you of Squid Ink Ravioli.
Finally! I’ve been waiting forever for you guys to do some Stardew items!
Can't wait for the stardew cookbook to come out!
2:20 feels like a what, Alvin 🤨
I would love to see a series of Alvin doing dishes from Final Fantasy 15.
we need a stardew valley special asap!!
Stardew Valley!! So Iconic so cozy
You're right, Alvin, friendship *is* the key to great pasta
2:19 He has learned from Uncle Andrew. 😂
Day 96 of petitioning Babish to make the Triple Fried Egg Sandwich with Chilli Sauce and Chutney from Red Dwarf
We got squid ink spaghetti, then squid ink ravioli. We have to get a squid ink pizza next
I was new expecting a stardew recipe. Gotta play again
Today on Arcade with Alvin, the symbiote from Venom.
Friendship is the key to making great pasta!
the one thing i take away from this is that whoever filmed the opening segment is a shanekisser. i hope he makes them happy
SERIES! SERIES! SERIES!
