I'm confused over how you managed to massacre the poor omelet in the first video and then pop out here doing all these complicated recipies and making them look amazing
I have a long distance relationship and I was visiting my boyfriend this month and I showed him the first two videos which he LOVED. Only to see a few days after introducing him that there was a new upload three hours old which we got to watch for the first time together! This series has become super special to us and we can't wait to see the next video and anything you choose to make after. Please keep up the good work!!!
mad respect for the strange bun, the miner's treat, and especially the cranberry candy! I didn't even know that thing you did with the oil and the cranberry juice was possible!
I really appreciate more unpolished cooking videos like this. It’s nice to both see someone doing cool experiments, and to have the reminder that sometimes other people also bite off more than they can chew, or mess up a measurement, while still being really creative and skilled at cooking in ways that I’d like to achieve
It's really wholesome-ly positive that these videos manage to both show that cooking isn't at all "rocket science" AND that it's perfectly OK to struggle, mess up or even start over!
Coming here after Charlie’s video was so soothing and such a relief (no hate at ALL to Charlie, I loved the sheer chaos of her Stardew cooking video too-but my brain needed this).
I'm amazed by how you manage to fit so much information into these videos! The cranberry candy was an especially surprising one to me. I really enjoy these videos and all of your tips and tricks!
I applaud the making of the strange bun. I don't know if I would be brave enough to take a bite... I'm seriously considering making that salmon dinner. I agree with the triple 'oh no'. Carrots, milk and hard candy sounds like a giant disaster in the making. I think I would have cheated and made fudge on a stick. Carrot flavoured fudge, but still. Those lollipops look surprisingly nice! Good on you for not giving up! The cranberry candy is genius. Seriously. This was a very entertaining video, and all of the food looks really delicious! (even the strange buns, surprisingly)
don't worry about the candy, being a confectioner is hard as hell and it would be very silly to expect you to become a pro just to make carrot lollipops from a farming sim
Some kind of carrot milk reduction, maybe? Creamed carrots are a thing, so maybe you could just keep simmering it until it’s a gloopy, vaguely carrot-flavored cream? That sounds a little easier to incorporate into candy.
At every recipe I feel such respect for you I start typing "Wow, I'm so impressed by..." And then the next recipe appears! These videos have been so lovely, I love your takes on the recipes. And I'm sorry for all the periwinkles. I've eaten them once. Never again!!!
Ftr, the “strange bun” looks like a Vol-au-vent which is usually made with puff pastry (or maybe a cream puff made with choux). I do not recommend making puff pastry from scratch, but it’s also the only way it’ll taste approaching decent lol
This was so cool! The cranberry candy was awesome. I think for the miner’s treat, maybe a carrot cake flavored caramel would work? You can then have the cream and carrot flavoring, but it wouldn’t look like the picture of course.
love these videos! i’m always so disappointed when people do something like this and try and do it all in one go. there was so much effort put into this!
With the miner's treat having milk in it, wouldnt a cake pop be more accurate? A carrot cake with some colorful frosting, would make it look like the picture, while also using all the ingredients :)
the bafflement i felt when you replaced the yam with sweet potato before i remembered, oh yeah, that makes sense to americans, doesn't it? he probably did mean sweet potato in the game, lol.
"im also wearing gloves" sure sure, i totally believe you. You didnt just forget to put makeup on the blue hands your farmer has and needed to say that as a cover
i love how you cooked the pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce form scratch! my mom likes to make cranberry relish, where she gets out her great grandmas meat grinder and puts in apples, oranges, lemon, and cranberrys. mix with sugar and it freezes well and is really good with the heavy thanksgiving meal. i think the amaranth was meant to be eaten as a grain with the salmon dinner but im not even mad about it ahaha, it looks really good! you're pretty skilled as a cook :)
So impressed with these dishes and I love that all the ingredients and steps are said in the video even when it isn't shown in footage, so they can still be reproduced ^^
It’s also fun to see the differences between both names and what’s available between where I grew up (east coast of Canada) and Europe - like what you call laurel I think being what we call bay leaves, and the entirely different look of periwinkles (periwinkles here are small, with round, blue-purple-grey spiral shells. Also I think they’re delicious, but that might just be differing opinions rather than them actually tasting different)
This has been such a cozy, comfortable, and hilarious series to watch! I love your sense of humor and transparency. Thank you for all your hard work, can't wait to see how Winter goes!
this concept is so interesting to me, I've been waiting to see new videos! i also found video about cooking all the SDV recipes from another creator but i was so disappointed with how little care she cooked everything... most things didn't look edible and the attitude was off. but you are so thoughtful about everything and adapt recipes to make sense and taste good.
I was going to say exactly this! Won't name names, but I wonder if we watched the same person 😂All of these recipes are so creative and thoughtful, the vids are a wonderful watch
We probably did watch the same person. That video felt more like just a video for the sake of content. While this one actually has strong effort and not just for views but a project / challenge that he enjoyed doing. ❤
Was so excited to see this was up! I love your humor and editing style, and the effort you put in for some of the more "interesting" Stardew recipes is definitely appreciated! Your Lobster Bisque looks incredible!
You deserve a million suscribers!! I find your videos really entertaining and admire the effort you put into them. I love cooking, I love Stardew Valley, and I think it's funny the amount of times that something goes wrong (sorry).
No one's going to top your stardew cooking videos. You actually try to make the recipes good, and you did it without the cookbook. Other people that make the recipes from stardew, take the game recipes literally, like duh it won't be good, it's a simplified video game recipe. You put so much effort into making the recipes editable and delicious
this series rules!! i love watching cooking videos while i eat and i've watched and rewatched these a number of times. i love it unpolished - showing the recipes that ended up not so great alongside ones that were awesome. thank you 💕
I applaud the effort of the miners treat! I think an alternative would be to make a variation on a common Halloween candy that has hard apple candy and caramel on a stick. You could have made a hard candy with carrot flavored caramel
I love these videos so much. I'm amazed at how much effort you went to with the cooking alone! You even made a scoby and some hard candy, that's some dedication right there. I look forward to the winter set, and will be rewatching these in the mean time!
I hope you know how much everyone, including me, looks forward to these videos! They're a lot of fun while being super laid back (though I absolutely felt your pain when trying to make those strange buns). I wish you the best of luck in getting the winter video done - please take your time and don't stress about getting it to us; we know it'll be worth the wait!
So excited this video is out! I love the voiceover/narration as well as the little jokes and references edited in. Such a great series, looking forward to part 4!
I would love it if you did a follow up section where you told us what was the most expensive dish, most time consuming etc... I find that very interesting and thank you for all the videos!
I recently got recommended another video attempting this and to me, it wasn't pleasant to watch at all. You have just the right humor and wholesome attitude to pull this off! Love these videos. They are well paced, edited and you have the right amount of seriousness regarding the challenge while not taking yourself so seriously. I got the official cookbook yesterday but I will try cooking some of your ideas as well
I cannot cook but I definitely enjoy watching you cook all the Stardew Valley food :) the editing is great, the narration calm and enjoyable and I fell in love with your chickens
re: carrots n milk in miner's treat? I would've considered concocting some kinda sugarglaze using carrot juice n milk as the liquids to dip the lollipops in, but I commend your effort in trying to make carrot work in the actual candy
This series is so delightful! The tiny editing details like a small text saying “nice aim” along the vegetables that missed the pot made me and my partner watching this laugh so hard 😂 i look forward to the next video and whatever you choose to make afterwards
Ooh! I love the use of the amaranth seeds! I always interpreted it as an amaranth flour coating on the fish itself, but I think your idea sounds just as tasty.
This series is so friggin cute! I'd love it if you made recipes from other games after this series, like Zelda, animal crossing, and other games like that :>
I adored watching this while eating a meal consisting of store bought pesto on bread lmao Amazing video, as always :) can't wait for the next one ! (but do take your time, we're all more than happy to wait if it means your videos stay as high quality as they've always been. you're doing great)
Gosh, I know the feeling of messing up a dish and everyone trying to politely dance around the issue without outright saying its bad T_T Cool video though!
Can’t believe you did this without the cookbook!
Would have been useful to have back then yeah 😭
Very fun to see the different interpretations on how to make them tho :D
Today the spirits were in good favour, we were sprinkled with extra luck and this video!!
Stardrop day indeed
also extra salt, if that cobbler is anything to be believed /j
I'm confused over how you managed to massacre the poor omelet in the first video and then pop out here doing all these complicated recipies and making them look amazing
It's a curse.
Tbf, eggs are easy to screw up. They're the cooking tests of temperature control
@@lavone5541 that is so true 😄

Thanks a lot for your kind words! Playing Stardew Valley and cooking are great couple activities

I am the little farmer, watching Queen of Sauce

Variety is the spice of life and we need the different energies! ❤
Same ^_^
Same 😂
These videos embody what I love about the stardew community in general: they are just so wholesome ^^
I'm amazed by how you manage to fit so much information into these videos! The cranberry candy was an especially surprising one to me. I really enjoy these videos and all of your tips and tricks!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it
You made candy!!! 🤯🤯 no wonder this video took a while it’s next level content creation.
Will never get tired of these you could do a "making all the recipies in every video game" series forever and all id say is thank you king
I love how you called the chicken kitty because I call my cats chickens 😂
THÉ RÉAL LIFE VOID EGG… IM SCREAMING
No way, it's here already. Looking forward for the last part.
don't worry about the candy, being a confectioner is hard as hell and it would be very silly to expect you to become a pro just to make carrot lollipops from a farming sim
I'm curious how you would have gone about incorporating carrots (and maybe milk) into the recipe without it messing with the candy!

@@lachouette_et_le_phoquejust to be clear, I am also not a confectioner, I just have respect for their craft 👍

welcome back king, this series is the shortest source of inspiration that hit the hardest in recent time.

just discovered this series and have been watching it between working on articles from home! so cosy and nice. looking forward to part four :)
The "oh no!" got me-😂😂
I've been checking every other day, we have been blessed this day!!!

Hey! For the strange bun you could roll it up as a Cinnamon roll, so it could have that twisty look like in game
In the Miners treat, maybe the carrot is the stick part instead of the candy part? Like maybe a carrot cookie? I don't know, I'm guessing
your cranberry candy recipe is genius!! 🔥
Im SO pleased to see a strange bun with actual periwinkle haha
It’s also fun to see the differences between both names and what’s available between where I grew up (east coast of Canada) and Europe - like what you call laurel I think being what we call bay leaves, and the entirely different look of periwinkles (periwinkles here are small, with round, blue-purple-grey spiral shells. yeah the tree is called a bay laurel! fun, huh? i like seeing whats he has to adapt too, like the langosteens instead of shrimps was neat.
Can’t wait for the winter part! Love this series so far ❤

The cranberry candy recipe is so cool! The spicy eel marinade looks delicious as well.

I love cooking, I love Stardew Valley, and I think it's funny the amount of times that something goes wrong (sorry).
A shot of Whiskey is ALWAYS a good idea
This was great! Love how you managed to make the strange bun despite the void mayo and your dislike of periwinkles
I want a follow up video that takes about most expensive, hardest, favorite, etc. What dish will you cook again?
Are we reaching True Perfection soon? Lol
He's back with another! I can't wait for your winter episode :)

Wow idk why I wasn’t expecting you to make actual candy but that was… interesting to watch. Braver than the troops
Ooh! I love the use of the amaranth seeds! I always interpreted it as an amaranth flour coating on the fish itself, but I think your idea sounds just as tasty.
Been hanging out for the next episode. Will be sad when winter finishes the series

you should do the moss soup
I will have to do the moss soup 😭
I loved your last two videos, and I'm so happy you are back at it! ☺️
Been eagerly awaiting this follow up, I love your vibe, editing style, and watching you cook! 💕
I can't wait to try the cranberry candy for myself - I had no idea that was possible!!
I'll probably try to make "proper" tapioca based boba next time
I adored watching this while eating a meal consisting of store bought pesto on bread lmao
Amazing video, as always :) can't wait for the next one ! (but do take your time, we're all more than happy to wait if it means your videos stay as high quality as they've always been. you're doing great)
