This just in! Parrot Released an update today for the Anafi. Some of the features this update includes are 2.7k resolution at 24, 25, and 30 fps. Adjustable RTH altitude, photo bracketing, and adjust the saturation, contrast, and sharpness if the natural picture profile.
Thanks, these updates need to be trumpeted on all the early videos because they make the Anafi even better. I hadn't spotted the 2.7K options. The two extra paid for options in the app are now a totally nominal price of 99p/99¢. The control of the RTH height is very important, adjustable from 20 to 100 metres.
Thanks Martin! I anticipate Parrot will release more updates in the next few months. I know the GPS drift makes some people nervous. I would also like to see 2.7k at 60fps if the processor can handle it.
Just tried to connect everything and go through the set-up process. Didn't work... the app indicates it can't find the controller, in spite of it being correctly connected to my Samsung Galaxy S8+... I chose to connect later and then it started to update the firmware etc. but it got stuck at the re-boot.... Removed the app, downloaded it again and tried to do the whole thing again... didn't work... So I probably made a mess of it by doing that... Just contacted customer support, but in case you have any views to offer on this problem, I would appreciate it.
Try a different usb cable if the remote will not connect to the phone. When I experienced this it was always due to the usb cable. When the update does not go through, simply cancel the update, then do it again and should go through. I believe this has something to do with the phone disconnecting from the usb cable.
Hi Ethan, thank you so much for your help! To my amazement it worked with the cable of my Samsung phone! Amazement, because there was an electrical connection when I tried to use the original cable. Everytime I plugged it in, the phone gave the signal that it was charging, off the controller, so that's why I didn't understand why the app couldn't find the controller. The disadvantage is that the cable of my phone is very long.... I wonder what customer service is going to come up with.... I don't understand what the difference between these two cables could be... It's already dark here, so all I have to do tomorrow is calibrate the compass and then give it a go, I hope... Anyway, thank you again!

@@Alpha6.31 Just loop a long cable into a couple loops, and pass one end around the loops a few times.
