Hi Ethan. Your information videos on the Parrot Anafi are fantastic. They are well informed and easy to follow. They helped me to decide to buy the Anafi drone to help me with my Landscape Photography RUclips channel. Thanks for the help.
Hi Shawn! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the support! I have more Anafi videos coming. This week Im working on a DJI Mavic 2 video but the next project is an Anafi video so keep an eye out for that.
Its my understanding that if you are outside the US, the transmitter goes into Euro mode where the transmit power is reduced and that will reduce your range. As for height, 400 feet is max here in the US which is about 122 meters.
Ethan you do such good work, an I’m sure that in itself is highly rewarding. Now if the Doctors In, so to speak, I’d wish to know your thoughts on my last Flight Plan and loss of video feed about two minutes into it. So, I laid out my very first Flight Plan, around Tyrrel Bay in the Caribbean, and was very nervous after launch in 15-20 knots breeze and the bird was over water. I got two “Strong Interference” warnings (figures from two nearby waterside restaurants with WIFI blazing) but the bird keep going on Flight Plan. Even lost video with the Flag “RTH?” Pop up. It was about at that scary point (over water you see) that the video feed turned to black screen with snow, yikes. That prompted me to bring up the Full Flight Plan screen and there she was just trunking down that electronic road (drone icon on screen with the Flight Plan layout) as if there was no care in the world!! I was not totally shocked since I have followed your previous school house videos where you must have said as much. She finished a 12 minute Flight Olan clear around the Carriacou bay and across open water at the end and came right back to Papa with never a return to video feed. Very happy to have her back and EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with Flight Plan. So many questions, but, will first reload ff6 as suggested (and try to remember to go into AIRPLANE mode on the controllers mini iPad 2) as that may have added to “STRONG INTERFERENCE” flag that popped up early. Have viewed the suggestion elsewhere on RUclips to ditch HDR in 4K (creates artifacts) and go to Plog and Colorgrade in post (I’m using iMovie as a beginner=less bucks). This flight was 4K in HDR a Freewell 32NDPL filter that was pretty great eliminating all water glare and smooth the stream. Thing is, popping on the Freewell filter before Flight startup resulted in a controller flag for Gimbal Obstruction failure. So the work around was to startup sans filter and pop on the filter after and all was well and worked perfect. Great drone she is, but, wonder if that filter weight will eventually cause gimbal failure
HaL! Great to hear the Anafi still performed as planned even with your video Stream loss. So first thing I want to add is if you lose your video stream and the screen is just black, your device has disconnected from the stream. If you see snow then your device has disconnected from the controller all together, but your controller is still connected to the drone. You will still see a solid blue light on the controller indicating its still connected. If it starts to flash blue to light blue (like it does when you fist power up) then it lost the connection with the drone. I have seen this happen more with the IOS devices than Andriod, which is odd bc IOS typically does better with drone apps..IMO. If you are having problems with disconnects with snow, I would change the cord. A way to check is to wiggle the cord where it plugs into your device or controller and see if you can recreate the issue. If you are getting a video stream disconnect issue ( black screen, no snow) then its the IOS and double check your IOS is up to date. I have seen this happen where Apple will put out an update but you will not see a notification. I believe Apple changes the security settings on the USB access and thats why we are seeing problems....but Im totally guessing here. As far as HDR I have not really noticed any artifacts but I only use it when demonstrating flight modes. I almost always am using PLOG. imovie does ok but another option is to download da vinci resolve. Its free and you can use LUTs and their color controls. I use it to make my own LUTs and I would use it to edit if I was not already familiar with Final Cut. you could also try luma fusion on the ipad. Its prob the best app based video editor I have seen and a good price, $20 last time i checked. I would check the spec requirements first though, I tried it on an iphone 6 and it was not powerful enough to run the app. As far as the gimbal, apparently the newer Anafi's, most that were manufactured after Aug, cannot not power up with the ND filter on. Now I do not have this issue with mine so I cannot confirm if its the gimbal on the newer anafi's or if FreeWell filters are slightly heavier than they used to be. I bought the Anafi back in July and the FreeWell Filters in mid Aug. That said, I have have seen gimbal errors because I was pulling on the camera with it on but I flew anyway with no issues. Will it still power up with the gimbal error or no? Hope this helps!
Ethan Mitchell you have done marvelously in fielding my various and seemly disconnected queries. Well done as with all that you do. Working to download Davinci Resolve into my 2012 MacBook Pro with extra graphic memory as I write. Do you agree that the iDevice sitting on top the Anafi controller needs to be in Airplane to shut off organic WIFI interference before launch? Thanks again! CDR Hal, USN Ret
HI Hal, So I agree your device should be in airplane mode but not for that reason. WIFI interference is going to affect the communication between the drone and remote, not the remote and device because they are "hard wired" together with the cable. I guess someone could argue that wifi/cellular from your device could cause interference but unlikely and if so we would see continuous interference. What airplane mode is going to do is eliminate software disruptions from notifications and free up CPU resources and Free Flight should run smoother and is less likely to have issues. Now in your case where the app said strong interference is typically because of strong RF in the area or issues with line of sight. This can also be caused by large metal objects or power lines. These two things can also be present under ground so increasing altitude can help. To check signal traffic you can go to settings and click on network and you will see the row of channels overlaid with peaks and valleys. The Peaks represent the strength of interference on those channels. you want to be on one that has very low interference. click on the channel you want and the Anafi will switch over. Im not super familiar with difference between 2.4GHz and 5GHz other than I believe 2.4GHz will reach out father in range but have more video latency where as 5GHz will have very low video latency with reduced range. I think most of the time it will auto pick a clear channel but if your having issues its something to check.
Hi Ethan, I recently bought an Anafi and besides the many other RUclips videos I have been watching for tips and tuition, I’ve found yours to be the best by far. Thanks for the detailed and informative work you have put in to making these films. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Have you done, or are you planning any night flights? Thanks, Kev. (From England)
HI Kev! Thanks for stopping by and thank you very much for the support! I have not done any night flying yet but I plan on doing one in the near future so keep an eye out for that!
HI Mike! To be honest i am more of a video shooter. I do not have much experience with 360 but it was relatively easy to do. Now if you want to share the 360 photo, i think you need to upload the individual photos to a 360 program. Otherwise it will just be a single photo.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips Thanks Ethan. I really like viewing the single 360 degree photos, especially in vr Your video helped alot and I'm getting it figured out.
Thanks for the update over view! What video editor are you using with your Anafi footage ( or in general) ? Also Thanks for all the great info on the Anafi!
Thanks Mark! I really appreciate the support. I use Final Cut Pro. I did a video on color grading PLOG if your interested. ruclips.net/video/RD1b8wiYXUM/видео.html
Thanks Bill!! I really Appreciate it!! I am currently working on a Zoom comparison between the Mavic 2 zoom, Mavic 2 Pro, and Parrot Anafi!!! I have found some very interesting results!
I give a lot of credit to Parrot for continuing to add features to the Anafi. For me zebras and histogram are huge as I use the Anafi for my real estate photography business and use these two features I use each and every flight.
I do not have an Anafi, but I enjoy all the updates you do on it. I have the 3DR Solo, the GoPro Karma and the Autel Evo so I just can't justify the Anafi, but I would like to have one as it is feature packed.
HI Danny!! I have always wanted to fly the 3dr solo and Karma! The Evo is a fantastic drone too (best out of camera footage IMO) and I would love to have one if I was able to keep them al!! $$$ LOL . I was very close to getting an Evo but I was holding out hoping they would release the new Evo with the 1" sensor at CES but they didnt. If you ever get a chance to fly the Anafi your going to blown away by how quiet and discrete it is.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips We need to meetup and I will let you fly mine to your hearts desire and I can fly your Anafi. You can even fly my Evo. The Evo camera is next level and almost scary good. It is just dollars and time why I don't have the Anafi. From your videos and others, it has great capabilities. I like all the smart shots and that followme from just off the ground is a very cool feature. I too was shocked they did not come out with a 1" sensor at CES. I predicted they would and I was so wrong. Let's get together and swap out flying these machines and see what we truly like. Thanks for the great comment.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips Ouch! I am in Texas for the winter and then I head home to Colorado. This Summer I will spend in Alaska. I will make an aerial video or 2 on that trip or maybe 200. ;-) I will be in your area the Fall of 2020, but that is a LONG way out. I guess I have to watch from afar.
Ethan great videos as always. Do you recommend the Parrot Anafi? I am planning to take it to Africa for an upcoming trip. Thanks in advance for help and support.
Hi Felix Floresrodriquez! Yes I definitely recommend the Anafi. The incognito factor is something I just can’t emphasize enough that makes the Anafi especially handy when traveling.
Hi Ethan, Very nice video as usual, precise and didactic. Congratulations, I know it must take a long time to prepare, shoot and edit this sequence and feature that very ‘professional look’. For a future update, my request to Parrot is to have a ‘DNG Only’ photo mode... spare some CPU, time and SD card space for the Bracketing option for example where JPEG is not really useful... When you set a 7 photos Bracketing shot, it takes 14 pix whit DNG and JPEG and propose a ‘black and white image’ during processing that lasts ‘forever’ (well a minute...) Let’s see if others do feedback this kind of request and if Parrot adds this simple option on the menus....
HI Philippe! I think thats a great idea! To be honest I rarely shoot stills but when I do I alway shoot DNG. Same for video, Im always in PLOG. I think thats a great idea to have a DNG only option. Im not sure my many manufactures put them together. Even my Canon 70D shoots DNG with JPEG. Always wondered why and yes its a pain when moving files around bc there is to of everything! If someone knows the answer please share!
HI David!! Yes I have one coming up soon. I have been talking with Parrot tring to work out a connectivity issue I have with the Iphone8. Since the update the app has difficulty connecting to the phone but seems to not be an issue on the iphone 10 or with galaxy.
Great video. Hey Ethan, have you had any luck with high framerate shots at all? I've tried some 60fps shots to downscale to 24 for slow motion but the quality at 60 really suffers IMO. Cheers.
Hi Matt Hoffman! I have shot in high frame rate a few times with decent results. I used PLOG and manual exposure. I also add a touch of sharpening in post and that looks really nice. What software are you using to edit?
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips I shot plog manual as well. The raw video itself doesn't look good in 60fps but fine in 24. Oh well, just means I will keep trying. I always enjoy your Anafi videos, thanks Ethan.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips I shoot a flight plan in 24 1/50 then 30 1/60 then 60 1/120. The 60fps looks not too bad in real time but when downscaling it to 24fps in a premiere pro project it looks almost like its 720p.
Nice informative video. Awhile ago I contacted Parrot to see if the Anafi will ever get FPV like the Bebop and disco. They told me it would be in a future app update but there has been a few updates since then and still no FPV option. Have you heard anything about this update?
No i have not heard of any FPV options but it would be a great drone for this! Its VERY fast and nimble! FPV would be great with the banked turns as well!
This Anafi surprises me more and more! Do you know if Parrot Will introduce the geo lock? Because i live in city center and sometimes happens that before going to fly i test my drone in the garden and for example my friend's Phantom does not take off here where i live.
HI Marius Ion! Thanks for stopping by. I really dont know if they will or not. I would recommend downloaded AirMap and use that to check airspace. I personally prefer that myself as it will notify the tower for you if they are connected with the tower in your area.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips thanks for the answer! I already use that but I'm sure here is not working well.. Or maybe is an issue with my Phone (galaxy s8)
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips my Anafi works great. I have issues with the air map app. One of my friends has It on iPhone x and shows much more infos than mine on the map
Oh i see.Well thats not good and it sounds like Air Map needs to put out an update for Android. I also have another app that I use often and thats FlightRadar24. Its free and will show you real-time if there is any air traffic in your area and you can see what altitude its at. (we have lots of traffic in my area) You could also compare to the maps on B4UFly app. its not very good but it was developed by he FAA.
@Ethan Can you pls gimme an idea on how to suggest improvements to the Anafi Team? You said that you got in touch with them and on the german forum we are running a "wish list thread" ..maybe it´s of value for the Anafi team to know as much as possible about what the community would like to see - your thought ? Would be great if you could gimme a hand on this..cheers
I the past I have called them and sent emails. They have the number posted for your area under the contact area on the parrot website. I have also received quick responses through comments on the Free Flight6 app within the App Store. I know nothing about firmware but always wondered if they could squeeze more quality out of this camera if they used a h.265 codec. I am still amazed at what the Anafi can do considering how small it is.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips Absolutely - I was astonished by your vid on the flightplan comparison HOW GOOD our little bird performs agains the MVP2 from a vid quality point of view - but again back to my question...tried all you mention..a call using the number which was shown to me results in some strange french answering machine..and a comment via Play Store is still unanswered - so would you mind gimme a contact mail if you have one ? Would be great if you could share this...dont think this will be a secret at all but if I would love to have a PN from you on that..cheers mate !
Although I don't own one, I've doin' research on them and I remember a video said in order for the RTH to work you have to fly it up yo 40meters for it to work. Wish I could tell you if this works.
Hi Raheem! Thanks for stopping by! This is not the case. On the original firmware, it would fly up to 90 feet /28m if lower than that. If higher that that it would stay at that height then RTH. With the current firmware, you can set the RTH height. And no you do not have to go up to 40m for it to work. Once it records the home point upon take off, which it will tell you in the app, your good to go. If you take off with Green GPS signal, the home point is recorded as soon as you take off. If you take with out Green GPS, it will record the home point when it acquires GPS.
Hi, Ehtan: Nice review. I love the new feature of gps and saved camera settings. However, it forced update the firmwares of anafi & controller last flight. I lost the camera feed after update. Even unplugged usb and restarted ff6 couldn't help. I used rth and landing button when returned. It bounced a little on the ground and I need to long press the down stick to stop the motors. Look like the new firmware have many issues.
Yes it does bounce a bit now when landing. I have never had good luck landing with down stick, I always hit the button on the controller. As for the video stream, check to make sure you phone is up to date. Then reinstall the app and see if that helps. If you still having issue you may have to reset the drone. With the drone off, press and hold the battery button for 15 sec then release. The lights on the bat will flash red. Then power up as normal. Are you using an iphone?
Interesting, so it sounds like you are trying to use follow me with Iphone X without the controller right? So i would try all the techy stuff first, (make sure your phone is up to date, reinstall the Free Flight App,) The only reason i say check to make sure your phone is up to date is bc my Iphone 8 plus sometimes does not let me know when there is an update. If that does not resove the issu I would reset the Anafi. With the Anafi off, press and hold the battery for 15 secs then release. you should see the battery lights flash red. Then power up as normal. If none of that works, you will have to call Parrot and let them know so they can work on an update.
My radar map doesnt work anymore, Samsung S7, the way I am facing the drone just disappears AND cannot connect in 5.8Ghz mode anymore, the phone just doesn’t show the Anafi anymore
Im going to give my typical IT spiel! LOL Rest the the drone, with it off, long press the battery button for 15sec then release. Should see the battery lights flash red. Power the drone up as normal. Double check you have latest firmware on your phone. Delete and reinstall Free Flight 6. Reconnect. Side note- this last update was the first where I had to delete and reinstall the app so I think they made some changes that did not jive with the existing software. Hope this helps.
is there an option to put the pictures in different directory on the card when making a 360 or a pano etc. I like to make my 360 and pano's with other software to make them perfect. Now it takes time to find the correct pictures for a 360 or pano in the whole list of pictures on the card when flying in the same area.
Hi kasper! great question but to my knowledge no. I do have a work around for you though if your interested. When you view the pano in the gallery you can download just those pics to your device. Then from there, you can select them and click the share button and send them via air drop if using an iphone and mac, or send them to google drive, dropbox, etc. Def not as convenient as a separate directory on the card. And usually downloading pics is very fast. Hope this helps.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips thx i did not know that...great...now figuring out some focal lenght etc microsoft ice is doing a better job but still not perfect. Btw is it possible to get the pictures faster from the card on anafi without starting the remote. Can i connect my android oneplus 6 direct to the anafi for faster transfer?
@@kasperjr Yes, you should be able to connect the Anafi directly to your Andriod device. You will need and adaptor- USB A to Micro USB or USB C, whichever your device takes. Connect the Anafi to your phone and power it on. Your device should recognize it just like a thumb drive and you can pull media off the card.
Folks, I'm going to buy Anafi next week. What softwares or apps do I need to install on my Android? What about in our laptops, does Parrot have a software we can use for downloading the images from the drone? I also read that charging time is slow. Is it possible to use a different charger?
No software needed on you computer other than video editing. You can pull the SD card and use a standard SD card reader or you can connect the Anafi to a computer using the included cable, though this way is fairly slow. Anafi includes a USB A to USB C cable. Connection on battery is USB C. I purchased a wall plug that outputs USB C "PD" and can charge a battery with in 90 min or less. I also have a 12volt car plug that also outputs USB C "PD" and can charge quickly as well.
Hello Ethan: I have an Anafi and like it quite a lot except when I go to pull out my memory card and download files onto my Macintosh I get an alert that says the card is unreadable. But it is readable on my controller iPad setup. I called Anafi customer support and got ahold of some guy in Bangladesh or somewhere who I pretty much could not understand and was of no help. I bought this drone mainly for photography purposes and if I can’t use the files it’s useless to me for that reason. Are you familiar with this issue?
HI Dave! Yes I have had this issue when I first got the drone last year. So here is what you need to do. In your Mac, use disk utility and format the card to MS-Dos(FAT). Then put the card in the Anafi and turn everything on a connect to the drone. If it gives you a card error, reformat the card from the app. It then should work in both the Anafi and Mac. I have not done this in a while as I have three cards I did this with almost 8 months ago but I was under the impression they fixed this. If you still have media on that card your having issues with I would download them to your ipad from the app, then air drop them to your Mac. Then try to reformat from the Mac. Let me know how it goes.
Hey Ethan: Thanks for replying. I’m presently downloading files to my iPad but it’s going to take a long time and may run out of memory - may have to do it in stages. I got a reply from Parrot - they said it was Apple and to contact them. But I recall now that this happened a while back and I thought an upgrade was supposed to fix it. I put a new 64gb Sandisk in the drone and got an error message. Can’t even format it. From here I’ll format it as you suggested and see if it will work then. This shouldn’t be happening to good drone flyers🤬
Yes its definitely an apple issue. I never have any issues with my android devices. Every time Apple has an update I seem to have connection issues with the Free Flight App and DJI Go 4 for that matter. I think it has something to do with the security features on the lighting port on apple devices. Im using iphone8 and iphone7. I dont have any issues with my older Apples devices like the iphone6 or ipad mini4. Im hoping the next drone Parrot comes out with has a dedicated controller with the app installed on it.
Ethan Mitchell I was able to format it with MSfat or whatever you call it and it seems to be working OK now. But now there’s a new issue with Parrot and again I’m wondering if this has occurred with you or anyone else on your channel. That is, mandatory updates out of the blue that I am required to comply with before I can fly. The first time this happened I was out in the field without any connectivity and couldn’t perform the update. This time I was at home and could. I’ve complained to Parrot about this before because if you plan a trip to fly and you’re out in the field and you can’t because it’s not updated you’ve just wasted a trip.
Hi Fanis! On mine high frame rate was always like this. I could do a work around in the past by zooming in on standard 1080p then switch to high frame rate but lossless zoom was not available in high frame rate.
Man I’ve been a Parrot fan for years from the original Bebop 1 with the huge red SkyController to BB2 with sc2. The craziest thing is I never reached a mile with those things no matter what I did. I’m a urban flyer. I recently received my first Mavic Pro a month ago and let’s just say, I wouldn’t dare everrrrrr purchase anything else that’s WiFi based. Just 2 days ago I flew 2.5 miles out with fpv. Imagine that🙄😁
HI Howard ! Thanks for stopping by! Yes your range is def limited with wifi but I have flown the Anafi out to 1.5 miles with no issue, prob could have gone father but I like to keep the birds close by! LOL At that range you really cant see it which makes me nervous. Most of my stuff is very close range, I rarely fly out past 2,000 feet. I have a Mavic 2 pro and the biggest thing I notice is the power of the transmission signal. It will fly behind buildings, behind trees, etc with not even a hiccup in the video feed so I know the Mavics will def reach out there. WIFI is very limited to line of sight.
Interesting...Do you have other devices that have issues or no? You could also contact Parrot. You may need different firmware that is calibrated to the southern hemisphere. Thats really just a guess though.
Hi SeanKimStyle! Thanks for stopping by! The Anafi uses a WiFi based system. You can connect via the WiFi from you phone with a limited range or you can use the controller with also uses a WiFi signal but is much stronger for longer range.
Thanks Ethan! I fly both Mavic and Anafi. I thoroughly enjoy Anafi’s features.

I bought the Anafi back in July and the FreeWell Filters in mid Aug. That said, I have have seen gimbal errors because I was pulling on the camera with it on but I flew anyway with no issues.
Have you done, or are you planning any night flights?
Thanks, Kev. (From England)
HI Kev! Thanks for stopping by and thank you very much for the support! I have not done any night flying yet but I plan on doing one in the near future so keep an eye out for that!
Nice update coverage Ethan. Have you had much experience with the 360-degree photos? Anyway you could maybe do a video on those?
Cool!! Happy to help!
Awesome! I'll definitely Check that out! Currently have DaVinci Resolve 14. But have been wanting to try a different one.
Great job Ethan ! 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎
Thanks Bill!! I really Appreciate it!! I am currently working on a Zoom comparison between the Mavic 2 zoom, Mavic 2 Pro, and Parrot Anafi!!! I have found some very interesting results!
Well done! Cheers!
Thank you Ruffalsky!
I give a lot of credit to Parrot for continuing to add features to the Anafi. For me zebras and histogram are huge as I use the Anafi for my real estate photography business and use these two features I use each and every flight.
I could not agree more! I think continuous software development is what really separates these companies.
Yeah that wld be great!! Im in Maryland! Where are you located?
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips Ouch! I am in Texas for the winter and then I head home to Colorado. This Summer I will spend in Alaska. I will make an aerial video or 2 on that trip or maybe 200. ;-) I will be in your area the Fall of 2020, but that is a LONG way out. I guess I have to watch from afar.
Great info Ethan. I had my video feed drop out yesterday on an Android. Will just unplug and re-plug to see if it fixes it.
Also double check your android is up to date. That was the issue I had two weeks ago.
Hi Ethan,
Very nice video as usual, precise and didactic.
When you set a 7 photos Bracketing shot, it takes 14 pix whit DNG and JPEG and propose a ‘black and white image’ during processing that lasts ‘forever’ (well a minute...)
Let’s see if others do feedback this kind of request and if Parrot adds this simple option on the menus....
Hi Ethan, a nice overview👍...please note there is even a newer version 6.4.1. at least for Android that is. Thanks Ton
Hi Ton! Thanks for that update! I will look into this!! Parrot always seems to slip one in in when I’m not looking!
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips 😂
Hi Ethan!!
can you do a review of the last update that includes photo timelapse and gps lapse?
thank you
HI David!! Yes I have one coming up soon. I have been talking with Parrot tring to work out a connectivity issue I have with the Iphone8. Since the update the app has difficulty connecting to the phone but seems to not be an issue on the iphone 10 or with galaxy.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips hey thanks for answering I'll be watching your channel. regards
Great video.
HI Gary! Thanks for stopping by! Thank you very much!!
Interesting. Sounds like its a setting in your player/ editor. What software are you using? And are you using an editor or player?
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips I definitely see issues with high framerate. I did some more testing. I use premiere pro and VLC player.
Marius Ion, are you having an issue with gps on the Anafi? Or Air Map?
Thanks nice.
Hi Mike! thanks for stopping by and thanks for the Sub!!! I appreciate the support!
👍
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips thanks, I plan to buy me one once I learn to work this Eachine "Mavic Pro clone"!!
Great video. Thanks 👍
Thank you very much! Thanks for the support!
A very good vidéo ! Thank you for your job
Thank you very much Drone Paysages!
Good Show
Thanks you very much!!
Btw I also some difference with the previous versions when landing: it hops up when it hits the ground. But that is a minor thing.
Thanks Ton, I noticed that too but mine did that before too.
hi ethan thanks for your work
do you know what i have to do when anafi follow me mode don’t work with a iphone x with or without remote controller
Ethan Mitchell thanks for the answer i will try 👍
My radar map doesnt work anymore, Samsung S7, the way I am facing the drone just disappears AND cannot connect in 5.8Ghz mode anymore, the phone just doesn’t show the Anafi anymore
Are you using your phone only or with the controller?
Ethan Mitchell phone only, thanks for uploading this
Im going to give my typical IT spiel!
Very cool! Thank you for the tips! :)
Thanks a lot
Now in the high framerate mode with lossless zoom on the zoom is not working..if I remember correct it was working before
Hi Fanis! On mine high frame rate was always like this. I could do a work around in the past by zooming in on standard 1080p then switch to high frame rate but lossless zoom was not available in high frame rate.
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips are u sure about this my friend?
Yes sir
@@EthanMitchell_RUclips thnks again.. I've made a ticket to see if it works in the future

Good review I wanted to know where the number of gps was
Thanks AR 23! Glad this was able to help!
My gps never works? I live in Australia so they might block it or something
Interesting...Do you have other devices that have issues or no? You could also contact Parrot. You may need different firmware that is calibrated to the southern hemisphere. Thats really just a guess though.
have you calibrated your magnetometer ?
Hi what about obstacle avoidance ?
Hi,
The anafi has a lot of good things but it doesn't have obstacle avoidance sensors.
No obstacle avoidance on this bird.
As a videographer obstacle avoidance is a bad thing - it can get in the way of taking the shot. I don't need the added weight.
Means it's a bike without break !!!
Is this Wi-Fi connect or radio?☺
Hi SeanKimStyle! Thanks for stopping by! The Anafi uses a WiFi based system. You can connect via the WiFi from you phone with a limited range or you can use the controller with also uses a WiFi signal but is much stronger for longer range.
I use my drone anafi for my videos on my RUclips Channel, il’s a good drone than dji.
hi Modern Family Trip! Thanks for stopping by! Yes the Anafi is ddef contender. I use it all the time with the DJI quads.
