When I got my Anafi the Follow Me and Flight Plan were only $0.99. Love the Follow me and Way Point, makes the shots smooth and flows nicely into the next view.
Cameraman is good for tracking moving targets...you can fly freely around a GPS point from Tap to fly as well (kind of a hidden Cameraman function), then it stays rock solid on the spot, even in sport mode. Did Orbits that way with almost 50kph. And yes, that slider sets the height above take off point for a POI, and you don't have to guess or measure, you can adjust according to the live view. You can save on data plan, if you load the area at home into the cache, either by just panning there in map view or by creating a flight plan mission. I'm a filmer, I'm less interested in dashing my bird around, I've been longing for a Cameraman like function for years...Anafi is definitely my bird 👍
Do you think that cameraman mode can be used with the drone grounded as a gimbal + camera replacement? If I put the drone "on a tripod" (I don't want it to fly to save battery) does that mode can still be used?

I'm not even using an active phone, just an old one that I've connected to my home's wifi. What I do is preload maps (you can pick anywhere you want to be the center of your flying location from the google map) and it will preload all the maps of that area, so you never need your data on if you have a wifi hotspot to preload before you go out.
Great video. One question in active track: does the anafi connect to the controller or the mobile phone? If I fly without controller, will this dual tracking thing still work?
Thanks for getting back to me. At the moment I use Vegas and Da Vinci Resolve, but my editing skills are limited, I am more of a photographer. I did use some plugin in the past to stabilize gopro footage though. I think I will download that section of your video and see how well I manage to correct it. for 699 euros with 2 batteries + big travel bag its the best drone in its class. But the Flight Plan mode has many many more to it. you do have controll over everything in the plan. You can program every movement possible and let it fly without connection to the controller.
Pricing on the two unlockable modes is now 99 cents (until Sept. 6, 2018 if I recall the date correctly). The altitude indication is in meters for flight plan mode despite the distances being in imperial units in the US, so beware.
with bebop 2 i love tracking option, when i ride motorcycle it was great, fast and pretty accurate. Now with dji spark, drone is to slow to keep up, loose tracking point, fly to far from me.... Nice wideo by the way, thx for that, now i am pretty sure that i want this drone.

Dman 52 I jut wish they did better in Urban area. I’ve tried to reach a mile from bebop 1 with sky controller to BB2 with the smaller sky controller. I’m thinking of getting into mods. Just bought me a soldiering kit🤓

How does that table on the right hand side measure the height? Is it in meters? Does it show 2 or 3 is the height in relation to the object or the height of the drone? Thank you
Watched another Anafi range test video. Got 2.2 miles on the WIFI before Anafi went into failsafe mode, stopped, turned round, to head for HOME. 2.2 MILES! Thats fantastic. 👍👍
Not sure they are better than those that come included on the Mavic Air. But since all the modes on my Mavic Air are no longer working at all the Parrott Anafi may be better.
Well the boomerang and asteroid are not even there to select. The other modes are there but will not even activate. I have used the DJI assistant to refresh the firmware but nothing changed.
Good to know. I am just waiting for my spark to sell and want to buy anafi. Can you tell me if there are any problems with communication with this drone? I watched some reviews where there were such problems
Parrot do it EVERY time (every platform). Bebop, Disco, now Anafi. 😤 Will still be one of the first things I do, unlocking those features. I think WAYPOINTS is a super cool autonomous feature, also great for ground mapping. 😎

I still can't believe the air still hasn't been given waypoints its over a year old And they still haven't done the Mavic 2 waypoints either Dji is absolutely Rubbish with Software its that Bad it isn't funny. The Go4 App is Shocking and needs massively sorting Bugs everywhere Features missing for every drone.
DO NOT BUY PARROT ANAFI!!! I experienced a problem with my controller was was a fault with my controller being able to connect to my smartphone (having used it about 20 times). From reading various forums and comments (on youtube and trustpilot), this appears to be a common problem. And now Parrot won't replace my controller. Also other interesting thing to note, there is no customer service telephone number in the UK.

Yes, you'd just position the drone so that it sees your entire body and use that as its focal point.

It is pretty comparable to the Air. Better than Spark
