But when it comes to fitspiration, your eyes may deceive you. What's even more pathetic is how many people believe doctors can get them healthy to fight the fact almost every doctor is morbidly obese and in horrible shape themselves yet we allow them to tell us how to take care of ourselves despite the fact they don't take care of their own selves. What's more pathetic the fact the people who supposedly are the experts who can't follow the rules or actually somebody who's put some time and effort into it and has proof that they can put results together. Give me the steroid guy every day of the week over any doctor in this corrupt medical system

There's a reason personal training certifications require formal education.

Protein, dumbbell bench, different angle push ups, light squats, curls and pull-ups. 3 times a week, 10-25 rep range, drop sets until failure, no personal best or records, don't skip workout do 5min instead, consistency is most important.

      The most important part - CORRECT AMOUNT OF FOOD. My middle son had AMAZING body while living with me because i cooked healthy , balanced meals and fed my family at correct times. Like in the evening they ate a sandwich and that was it. Now he lives on his own, gained weight, still exercises in gym but then comes home in evening and cooks something. When i was visitingI asked him are u sure u want to consume that amount of food at night? He said me to mind my own business and that he is in great shape. I said a mirror is right here u got blind or smth. But then the conversation was over, i do not want to spoil relationship with him and criticize him and give unwanted advices. So bye bye great body. But to the rest of u: U WANT A GREAT BODY PUT A LOCK ON THAT MOUTH AND DO NOT EAT AT NIGHT

    Great video about a topic I’m very passionate about. There’s an ocean of snake oil salesmen in the fitness industry who usually lack the knowledge, experience, integrity, & ethics to be promoting or selling any of their junk products or programs. Sadly most people in our fitness industry are liars or scammers, & get away with it because the visuals of someone with a fit body tends to fool people into believing whatever they say is true, and the barrier of entry as a “fitness professional” is sadly so low as Ben stated.

    He's right. You really don't need all of these fancy fad diets and intense workouts that lead to burn out and bad relationships with food. Eat better, move more, be smart about your choices and take better care of yourself overall. Do it to make yourself feel good, not to mimic what these ridiculous "influencers" look like.

      @equinn0208 4 месяца назад

      @teeminator30 That's fine to want a body like his. I'm just saying you don't have to do exactly what he does to achieve it. People mimic these fitness influencers to the point of ignoring their body's signs and then get frustrated that it's not working

Go extreme is something like a carnivore diet eliminate all sugar and seed oils and you'll get in the best shape of your life and get over the food addiction. We've been pushing this eat reasonable in moderate your calories nonsense for decades and all we have is gotten worse shape. People don't know how to do that. Glad you found what works for you. As Ben mentioned at the end of the video, what will work for almost all of us is simple and there's no money to be made in telling people that, hey, you want to lose your belly? Walk 30 minutes to an hour every day and limit your alcohol intake to once a week.
      The guy that mentioned that running is a useless exercise clearly just wants to sell something; either his fitness routine or some supplement he's being paid to hawk. I don't like giving too much personal info online, but let's just say I'm very much over 21 years of age and when I feel like it, can run 10 miles at a 10 minute pace, can run an 8 minute mile if I feel like challenging myself and my wife saw me doing work in our backyard last summer and told me after, "Huh, he has a six pack." Typically, I'll run close to 4.5 miles or will do a 10K on the weekend, I'll throw in an hour of walking on days I want to give my joints a rest, will do the bike and occasionally, I'll do weights. I don't do weights like I used to, because when I was younger, I just wanted to put on muscle. I don't want to put on any more weight, however, since that'll just put stress on my joints, so I just lift enough to maintain the muscle I have.

      There's nothing special about cutting carbs, in the end our calorie balance define our weight, so the exact same thing happens if we cut calories from fat. Insulin resistance (and later T2D) rely more on weight (calorie balance) and exercise (both resistance training for added glycogen storage and direct pathway for glucose) and walking (or other cardio) for general health. 🙂

Many professional bodybuilders, fitness models, and swimsuit competitors do not know anything about fitness or being healthy; but if you want to look like them, are you going to listen to the people that know how to look like that, or the people that know how to correct your posture and strengthen the tiny muscles that pull your ears back when you think you hear a ghost or burglar in your house late at night?

Didn’t want to do anything fun like going out, museums, travel. He admitted he was a “vain SOB”. Barely had any friends, estranged family, lived alone, former drinking issues, and alienated his ex-wife and daughter years beforehand. Nearly everyday he ranted about how “disappointing” or “fat/lazy” nearly everyone else was. Healthy body but not a healthy mind or attitude.

    Eat healthy, work out regularly, eat more healthy food for gaining mass, eat less food thats still healthy for losing mass and increase protein intake. Workouts shouldnt go more than an hour. You will never be bigger than the guys you compete with on stage, but you will still look good and feel good as long as you dont go below like 10% body fat. Be happy

    After close to a decade of fitness and trying everything, the biggest helper and hinderence to my growth was science based working out. Second guessing programs and exercises causes analysis paralysis.
    Consistency will always win the day. Go to the gym. Get after it. Do the stuff you like to do. And dont allow stagnation. Gradually challenge yourself. Its a marathon not a sprint. Most people want it ALL and they want it now.

    He needs these people. It's how he makes his money. The vast majority of influencers preach don't eat sugar , don't eat too many calories, eat whole food. That's 90 percent of it. Why would anyone think that is unhealthy? It's because the food industry relies on it.

    • @timmat8029
      @timmat8029 4 месяца назад

      The restrictive diet advice from many influencers goes over what is reasonable and ends up promoting disordered eating. Sugar isn't inherently unhealthy (even fruit and veg contain glucose) and can be included in a well designed diet. but most Americans don't eat with moderation.

    Yea don’t use V Shred 😂😂😂 if you’re beginner to intermediate and want to try a route that isn’t an expensive personal trainer, try Jeff Nippard. He bases his programs on actual science, they aren’t expensive, and there are no shortcuts. I don’t use any supps but whey and I got my squat up to 460. Don’t juice or compare yourselves to people that do folks. It’s a journey not a race.
