That said it’s important to know that emerging science is suggesting that amino acids can also fuel the growth of cancer. Great Video! Below are the Keypoints Suammrized using ChatWithPDF:
🧠 - The digestive system plays a crucial role in breaking down protein and absorbing it into the bloodstream for distribution to muscles.
🍽 - Different segments of the digestive tract are primarily responsible for either digestion or absorption of protein.
👅 - Digestion begins in the oral cavity through mechanical and chemical processes such as chewing and enzyme release.
🍗 - Protein-rich foods like chicken or steak undergo mechanical digestion in the mouth before moving to the stomach for further breakdown.
🧪 - The stomach plays a key role in digesting proteins through the action of hydrochloric acid and enzymes like pepsin.
🔁 - The pyloric sphincter regulates the movement of food from the stomach to the small intestine based on food type and amount.
🧬 - The small intestine is the main area for absorption of nutrients, including amino acids derived from digested proteins.
🩸 - Amino acids absorbed in the small intestine are transported to the liver for utilization in various bodily functions, including muscle growth.
💪 - The body dictates where ingested proteins are distributed, emphasizing the importance of consuming enough protein for muscle growth.
🥩 - Animal proteins like whey and casein are complete proteins, while plant proteins may lack certain essential amino acids.
🕰 - While timing of protein ingestion can be important for muscle recovery, overall protein intake throughout the day is more crucial for optimal muscle growth.

Awesome info here - very fascinating how the surface areas of the digestive system are so well designed/evolved (all beliefs welcome) that they provide an ENORMOUS potential for absorption via diffusion, osmosis, etc.
I wonder, though... if I don't want to rely on just the mechanisms of circulation, diffusion, osmosis, and various biochemical reactions to break down all the nutrients that my GUT LINING itself needs for building and repairing... would it be wise to consume certain things like collagen or maybe even something like palmitoleic acid on a regular basis so the gut tissue can take those components (that I believe have been shown to be important in mucous membrane maintenance and repair) and use them immediately upon consumption and first absorption into the gut tissue?
Theoretically, anything you consume that contains those building blocks would "eventually" break down, hit the liver, recombine, and be pumped back out into the body where it would diffuse into the intestinal walls, right?
But if we provide the exact combinations and chemicals needed for the gut to repair itself, would it just absorb those because the "more advanced" structures (like peptides vs. less advanced amino acids) can be utilized by the gut tissues immediately, rather than waiting for the amino acids to be assembled into those more advanced structures in the liver?
Just trying to find ways to help gut health, since we seem to be performing study after study that results in gut health being an ever-increasing problem area for overall public health and wellness in the USA (and globally, to a lesser extent). 💖

True, but it's ok to eat carbs and fiber. Sure, you could live off just protein and fat but it's realistically much less convenient. Not to mention vegetables of course. Maybe if you're on a fat loss diet limiting breads and pastas is good (sugar too obviously) but it's more important then to lower consumption overall
