When checked back in 2009 there wasn't much on RUclips with
Robbin Harris so I added these videos to remember a great man
and his work. I had to make 3 video because of the 10 minute
time limit. Am happy with all your support in honoring a man
that could make us all laugh.

You never know how much you miss someone until you see pictures and videos and hear the voice of that person. Robin Harris was incredibly talented. It's crazy how much of his kind of humor has been scrutinized these days.

I grew up in a section of Pittsburgh, Pa. back in the 70's in the company of SO MANY brothers just like Robin......who had the ability to "verbally" carve you up like a Thanksgiving Turkey. The vast majority of these dudes were chronically unemployed.....which allowed them PLENTY of time to "perfect" their craft. They would actually have you laughing at YOURSELF. Robin possessed that "gift"....only he had the intelligence & good fortune to make a living off his talent.

I saw this back in 1990 when it first aired, and I never forgot Robin Harris. He is one of the best stand-up comedians of all time. He left us way too soon. Thanks for putting these videos up here, because this performance was hard to find for the longest time. People need to see this, because Robin Harris was a master of comedy.
I had this on VHS. Wasn't much about Robin on RUclips (3 video's maybe) when I put it up. He has his own style of fast quick to make you laugh. One liner's after one liner. Works everyone in the room. Am glad everyone enjoy The Legend of Robin Harris.

OMG, one of the greatest nights in my life When I saw him live in Riverside California (March 1989) before i shipped off to England. Hint no one in the audience got upset because he made fun of them... no one.

Wow, It's a trip how much time has passed and how much black comedy has evolved since Robin Harris, back in the day I thought this was HILARIOUS, but I barely crack a smile or light chuckle here and there watching it now. When you look at what Jamie Foxx, Martin Lawrence, Mike Epps, etc..has done and even Bernie Mac, Robin pales in comparison, but he was "great" for that time, R.I.P. my dude!

My favorite comedian of all time, his Be-Be’s Kids stand-up album was mandatory listening on every tour I’ve been on. It still makes me laugh my ass of to this day, even though I know all the bits/punchlines, because of his delivery and style. It’s even better to be able to see him on here, even though I saw this on HBO back in the day when I was a kid.

His delivery of his material was on point. He said he was trying too get fucked up, but the drinks were so watered down that when he told the cop he had 10 drinks and where he had been drinking the cop told him to go on, and that he couldn't be drunk drinking at the VIC.
