GTA 4 ending is so bittersweet I always feel bad for packie and his family
I know right :( All of the super significant deaths here were so hard to watch

The developers reasoned the bikes drive better because Johnny is more skilled at riding bikes than Niko 😂

@@siteshhh They definitely fiddled with the bike physics/Handling for this DLC. Pretty sure the changes are carried over to Tbogt too!
You know now that 2008 Johnny Klebitz wouldn't have fallen victim to Trevor, or at least he wouldn't have made it so easy. Rockstar did Johnny so dirty in GTA V.

When you play TBOGT, please don't mute the music in game. Mute it in post (video editing). The DLC is all about the vibrant clubbing scene and it's vital to the atmosphere.

Tbogt was so dope when it came out i remember climbing the tallest building and using a parachute for the first time in a gta game with luis ! Peak late 2000’s with the dopest music🤣👌
The real comedy is watching everyone crashing on the bikes. That’s one of my favorite things about this game.

You didn't understand the environment and colors in each DLC at first glance and that's fine. It represents how each character sees life. Niko sees everything more cold and grayish, Johnny sees everything more outside the system and playing with it, combined with their personalities.
Then you have Luis, where everything looks like glitz and glamour. 😂
There actually is a film grain, Lost and Damned is very yellow, grey and green and Ballad of Gay Tony is very pink, blue and orange
The game that made me appreciate metal music. Too bad the copyright is taking away that music experience from you, especially with the next tbogt dlc. 😭
The intro was SO BADASS already. I definitely feel you there 😭 Eventually, I’m gonna have to replay these games on my own so I can actually enjoy the radio and other in game music :((

It'd probably be hard to remember since they use different models for him between IV and EFLC

18:08 Glad you noticed that, Johnny is a skilled biker and it shows in gameplay. He's glued to the seat (and in cars) so it's WAY harder to get knocked off compared to Niko. You definitely wanna stick to motorcycles in the DLC because of that😉
Some tips here: you can call jim to get free guns with max ammo but the option will only work if you are outside the club house, also around the club house in a alley there is free armor, you can use any bike for hangouts or gang wars, also when you do certain number of gang wars you will unlock "special" bikes on the outside of the clubhouse, last tip is during some missions you can call terry or clay on the "back up" option on the phone to help you out on some missions or during free roam.
FYI - Johnny gets emails just like Niko did, worth checking them out in the next episode
This DLC is a blast. Have fun. I've played this DLC a long time ago after GTA 4.

There is some heavy backstory you get for Packie and Roman if you hang out with some people enough times, since the IV playthrough is over, I will spoil them here.
1. Packie tells Niko that him and Gerry were molested by their father. Packie suspects Gerry eventually shot him for it.
2. Niko tells Kate that after Roman left for Liberty City, Niko found Roman's mother r**** and murdered. He has been lying to Roman and always tells him she died in a house fire.
Dwayne also has a lot of tragic stories, but it'd be too long to write.

@@tflggmn1970 His dad was a pimp and a drug dealer, he and his mother would always get beaten by his dad. One time he broke golf clubs over her back when she bought them for him as a present.
His father was shot on their doorstep when he tried to rip off other dealers, Dwayne was glad to see him dead.
He then wanted to be a cop, but in LC in the 80's, black police were discriminated against.
He was homeless and couldn't get a job because he had no education (evident in his emails and text message's spelling). but since he could add up, and scare people. He had to became a dealer like his dad.
He was placed on suicide watch in prison because of everything, he also has memories of turning his old classmates into drug addicted zombies so they'd become his best customers.
Awesome to see you starting off with the dlcs, both Johnny and Luis (TBOGT) are great protagonists that deserve full games but better than nothing. Seeing as how you've played RDR2 before you'll see some resemblance between the Lost MC and the Van Der Linde gang, if anything GTA TLAD walked so the story of RDR1/2 could run
Glad you listened to the post-storyline phone calls in GTA IV! So many people miss those and those actually offer a bit of closure. Especially with Packie having to be there for his mom. Hyped for your playthrough of The Lost and Damned here!

Make sure you remember the main game plot real well, because there's a LOT of ties in the DLCs. Things Niko did and such.
you actually spotted a neat detail in the DLC, Niko, Luis and Johnny (the three characters in the main game and DLC) see life in liberty city differently, Niko sees liberty city as a grey, depresive and dark city because of the shit he lived, Johnny sees liberty city as a dirty, gritty and "damned" place, and Luis, who is the most emotionally estable of the characters, sees liberty city as a neon light, colorful nightclub full of crazy shit.
Word of advice. if you take your friends out to a show. Terry and Clay do not mind a show. as long as it is the comedy show. the Perestroika cabaret show Terry will tolerate. but Clay hates it. he is more for the strip (ANY) club. so if you want to go to the cabaret call Terry not Clay. (yes that rhymed whoop tee doo. )
every time i tried to take Clay to the cabaret all he would do is complain. even if i took him to cluckin bell afterwards and drinking (hid 2 favorite things) i was like calm down dude. so i did what you mentioned strip club cluckin bell then drinking.
Glad to see you didn't take any time off before you jumped back in! Here's a tip to enhance your gameplay: click the right stick to zoom in with any gun, you will shoot even better than you already do, especially with the assault rifles.
Also, you can import your unlicensed music into a custom radio station on the PC version. That way, you can still hear the funny ads.
Call Angus between missions! He'll talk thru events with johnny most of the time if I remember correctly.
I really liked this DLC but The Ballad of Gay Tony is even better, can't wait for that one

I know it is too soon to mention this, but Niko could always try to date that Internet cafe lady Alejandra. i wish she was on those dating sites, so Niko could have a happy life (ha you thought i was gonna say happy ending didnt you? wait..D'OH) too. TLAD is a very different DLC story. i have always liked it.

You can have unique conversations with Angus if you give him a call after you done certain missions. You can also send him an email and he will reply back.
Alternate ending it would have been Roman dead instead of Kate, which would you have preferred? So happy to see the DLC getting some shine too! Love the content!
Quick tip: Try ringing Angus and Ashley from time to time (after missions), they usually answer. Goes for others too

Would be cool if you could do at least one last GTA 4 episode, doing some of the side missions that got left out like Stevie's for example, unlocking some of the things that you missed, just a casual play even if there's no main missions anymore

Hiii, call Terry and Clay during missions and they'll help you (and it sometimes will even give you special mission sections such as hiding on top of a building)
You meet Johnny in GTA5 briefly, when you first see Trevor... He's the one who ends up as brain-matter on Trevor's shoe.. You also get to meet Packie on a random event in GTA5 and use him as a heist crew.
She's aware. She even mentioned Johnny's fate in the video

Kaylee can you possibly maybe perhaps, watch the other GTA IV ending? Not going to spoil what it is but it would be cool for you to watch it. Not sure if you can play it unless you have an earlier save game because GTA IV doesn't have a mission replay system like GTA V.
Rockstar did Johnny so dirty in GTA V, you'll see as you play the DLC.
So the bikes feel better to drive because Johnny is a Biker. So he is more experienced. So they made the handling a lot better and responsive in this dlc

The motorcycle physics were improved for the DLC because Rockstar knew it was a problem in the base game.

This playthrough of GTV4: L&D is gonna be cool. I've had this game since 2013 on PS3 and I only played maybe 30 minutes of it. I have no clue whats going on and I can't wait to see how this turns out.

In the bad cop drop mission try shooting the barrels. Definitely Call Jim and he will give you a fully loaded weapon. I believe Jim didn’t answer your call earlier because you were in the clubhouse.

Rockstar having Johny killed by Trevor in GTA 5 is one of the biggest character assassinations and did him real dirty.
It was all done just for shock value and rile up fans from GTA 4 on trevor.
