Haha thanks very much. Lockdown certainly helped up my build hours. I'm very worried about the dust. I've got quite a bit of work to do up there to make it ship shape.
7:02 my return to moddeling started when wife presented me that Revell's Tornado (ones we were in hardware store and I said that acetone reminds me of childhood cause smells like model glue). And than another and another kit... cold war.. ww2 east and west front... pacific theater... She didn't new that she opened pandora box! x)))

Wow! Amazing! You could start a history museum all by yourself! I've only got back into the hobby after a 50-year gap, so I'll have lots of catching up to do! These modern kits are amazing, aren't they? A far cry from the old kits of the '70s I used to build as a kid. I spotted an old Hudson bomber there on your shelf and managed to find a '70s Airfix kit. Working on that at the moment, oh the memories!
Haha that's not a bad idea! I'm stunned at the evolution of kits these days. It's costing me a fortune. Just when I think "Ah I've got one of those" Eduard or Arma Hobby will bring out a brilliantly new tooled version! It's funny you mention the Hudson because it's one that I'd like to re-do! I've just finished a Vintage Classic Bulldog from Airfix and I really enjoyed it. A bit of nostalgia, brand new cartograph decals and a fabric covered aircraft which gets away with the old tooling process!
@@The_Male_Modeller I know what you mean. With my Hudson, I've been creating greebles from the sprues of the kit itself. Little things like dials, piping, radio boxes, that sort of thing. Waste nothing, use, everything! This old 70's Hudson badly needed some extra detail as its cockpit was so spartan. If Airfix were looking to redo one of their old kits, I would love it if they considered the Hudson for an update like they did with, say, the Heinkel He111. I built the '70s version of that German bomber back in the day, but I've seen the new kit for it. It's on a totally different level to the old one.
