Working on a Arma Hobby 1/72 Hurricane at present and it's a joy to build. Looks like the P-39 is of the same quality.

It's a lovely kit...but like all their 1.72 kits....it's bloody fiddly😮

Where do you get WW1 aircraft from?

The sprews remind me of the older kits! Not sure of the Accessibility but hey it looks alright

Thanks for this - I was concerned the kits were more basic but your vid quelled my concerns. I've ordered the set direct from Airfix which includes most paints and another free spitfire as well. Really excellent value!

I built the new fighter-bomber boxing this summer. I would have preferred to make one in dark earth & dark green, but buying a decal sheet for just one build is too expensive. I like the Whirlwind, so I'm pleased with the finished kit, but definitely wouldn't want to build another, it's a 100% short run kit. Fortunately new Special Hobby kids are nothing like that anymore. Azur / SH 1/72 MB 210 will be released soon, is that something you are interested in, French inter-war stuff?

The Airfix kit is the 'P' varient and the Revell kit the later and more common 'H' varient. I understand the main difference was the engines, but I don't know how different this makes the aircraft look.

I've played the Aerodrome (R) WWI aerial combat game since 1990 using 1/72nd scale aircraft that were built by experienced modelers. I've lost contact with the guys who built my WWI aircraft kits, how can I find experienced modelers who would be interested, OR modelers who have built WWI aircraft models they are willing to sell?

I have one of these italeri C-47's in my stash, it was actually bought from the D Day museum in Ste Mere Eglise during a visit there, didn't realise until later that the aircraft depicted by the kit was the one they had on display as the shop is just before where leave the museum! want to put mine in a diorama along with some airfix jeep kits i picked up from lidl

Looks incredible! Did you use a varnish on top of the AK metal paint? If so, what did you use? I'm trying to find the right type of varnish to use on top of metal paint without ruining the metal finish.
