    The main issue I noticed with this method is that it only works with the default center of origin. If you have a footage tracked example in AE this method doesn't work? It becomes hectic trying to align the plane and the curve to fit your building target match

    thankyou so much for the tutorial, but i have one question, the flag is moving, how can we see the flag keyframe?

      You'd have to bake the animation

    Will an item with thickness, i.e. a carpet, follow the spiral also? I'm looking for a way to animate rolling up a carpet.

    Hey man, nice content.
    I dont have this many curve options. Am I suppose to active an option?
    Or is this an addon?
    Thanks

    • @GraemeBull
      @GraemeBull  9 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks! Yes, this is an addon. You should enable "Add curve: curve tools" and "Add curve: extra objects" Installed but not enabled by default.

    Will this method work on a paper bag is u wanted to try and animate it opening and closing and rolling up like a sack lunch?

    • @GraemeBull
      @GraemeBull  3 месяца назад

      Sort of. I think you’d have to apply a force on it and bake it. Not sure which one though, I haven’t done that

    I keep trying to render this as a PNG sequence, whenever I try I export it or it does not look like the animated cloth simulation. How can I export this?

    How do you make it so that first it's attached to the points and then it gets blown away by the wind? Like the points stop holding it in place?

    • @GraemeBull
      @GraemeBull  6 месяцев назад +1

      That's a great question... I'm not sure to be honest. but now I want to know too....

      You add a wind vortex and then you can keyframe the pins

  • @jateshsingh3934

    but whenever I move curve then all cloth simulation will disturb could you tell me the reason

    • @GraemeBull
      @GraemeBull  Год назад

      the cloth simulation is just a simulation until you bake it

      this is an older video so it isn't what I use now, which is 4.1. I can't remember what version I was using for this tutorial unfortunately.

      because the material stretches. You need to turn up the stiffness on the cloth layer
