This is an amazing tutorial thanks! But I have one big issue: when I use the curve modifier, my original mesh gets "thinner" (reduces its lenght in y scale) what can I do? I didn't make a spiral but just a slightly rolled curve, I don't know what to do! thank you
Whenever I select the curve in curve object selection box, the plane immediately gets narrowed from sides making it a thin ribbon like shape. please help.
Amazing .. Please make a video for creating a "Windowed candy packaging" that Some parts of the candies can be seen from it .. Please .. I want to know the right way
Beautiful work! I love these types of things which are so "simple" yet produce such amazing results. Well done! Curiously, do you have any advice for exporting that animation from Blender for use in another program? I can't use the roll-up animation in a game I am working on because it doesn't export the animation :(
Thank you so much I've only used it in Blender and don't know how to use this animation for other software yet. There may be a way, but unfortunately I haven't figured it out yet
Dear Sir I watched all blender videos all are nice and very helpful but I have one doubt, blender have so many features but I don't know blender I know only Maya. Can you please tell me sir It is possible to do all blender models and animation, texturing made in Maya.
Do you know how long I have been struggling with this?! I never thought to use propotional editing on Rotations! It's so simple yet I didn't even think to do that.
I was able to make it roll, but if I move the spiral curve the plane also moves. it deoen't stays in the same plave like in the tutorial. any idea why this is happening?
Hi bro I have some issue with this bezier curve. Everyting is ok but when I want to export unity engine, it doesnt work. How can I do it ? What would want suggest to me ?
i had the same problem, you have to set your transform pivot point into median point and not individual origin. (the button at the top of the viewport next to the transform orientation (Global / local)
I hate these tutorials's that have no speaking. They're so much harder to follow because you have to pay attention closely to everything that's being done and there are inevitably things that don't make sense or aren't explained along the way.
Awesome! I also added a cloth modifier and simulated the collisions.
Simple and great tutorial. Thanks for sharing.

Bro same thing I need for the cloth i mean instead of paper i want the same for cloth what to do
I was able to make it roll, but if I move the spiral curve the plane also moves. it deoen't stays in the same plave like in the tutorial. any idea why this is happening?
In case you still need this, i think that the curve length has to be longer than the mesh you are rolling onto it. It worked for me
Nice!!!
Thanks
Nice tutorial
Thanks 😚
how can i convert it into shape key

Ya I agree, it’s hard for beginners to follow cause we don’t know which button to press 😭😭
