He did it, he is the first American to play in the UCL final and won the UCL. The first US Champions league winner

yes Jovan Kirvoski for Dortmund 96-97 UCL, correct me if im wrong
This is how we South Africans feel about any player who makes it in Europe. That player is Brighton’s Percy Tau. It’s just a pity he hasn’t done much yet.
The conclusion:
Maxwell is an Arsenal fan that supports Tottenham occasionally and will support Cheslea in the UCL Final.
NICE
exactly word for word
Bro's the American W2S
it's really nice to see American fans. Beckham did a lot for US football and it's fantastic to see the investment pay off. I'm so happy that the US has started producing some fantastic youngsters. hopefully the US will become the next Belgium.
Im 26 and I've only just recently gotten into Association Football (I stumbled into it when I was forced to switch to Peacock to watch WWE content). Pulisic was one of the things that helped me engage early on when I was still in the "Why are they just passing it back and forth!!!!" phase. It's definitely helped and now I've dived fully into following Football alongside other sports I like. And since part of that experience has been watching Christian go on this run with Chelsea in the Champions League, it's really helped me connect more.
I can't wait for the next season of the Premier League so I can follow the whole thing live. I'm hoping next year I'll be able to figure out what Club I want to root for.
Welcome to the beautiful game! Maybe there is no sport matches as emotionally engaging, joyful, and heartbreaking as football, 2005 Liverpool vs Milan UCL Final, 2012 Chelsea vs Bayern UCL Final, 2016 Leicester city campaign, every World Cup, etc. For me the only other sport match that is on par was 2016 game 7 NBA finals GSW vs Cleveland. Looking forward to 2022 & 2026 World Cup, i hope the USMNT can improve their game so that USA can finally join the rest of the world for the love of football.
Come to Chelsea mate.. Christians team.. you know it makes sense!!!!
You should support Manchester City that just makes the most sense tbh
How’s it going bro! Make sure to catch up on Champions League as well
Support your local side

Indian Here. I hope to have the same feeling as you one day. Our country has great potential in football but is overshadowed by cricket. But recently the city football group acquired a team in our local league and hopefully an Indian gets to play in Europe and whoever does it, I will wholeheartedly support them.
At least we have chhetri who has the same international goals as messi
India has so much footballing potential, though it’s squandered because only the rich get in Indian academies
Haha I can so relate to what you said at 3:00 As a an Egyptian-American Manchester United fan I get the same conflicting emotions about him. But I have been following him since his Chelsea days so it doesn’t bother me to much
If he can stay fit consistently he can easily become one of the top attackers in the PL.
As a moroccan I jump for Joy whenever hakimi or ziyech score, and even salah and mane, I cheer for them almost as much as I cheer for my favorite team
How did you react to the World Cup?!
Your content is amazing bro keep it up
Thanks!
Actually in Russia we had the same feeling for arshavin when he was at arsenal
Maybe it wasmainly because of our magnificent 08 euro (me and my dad still remember match against holland,it was pretty epic), but you can agree with me,that Andrei was a great player
Btw your content is pretty poggers
Arshavin was a really good player for Arsenal. I remember that match against holland, Arshavin turned into Maradona and dribbled the whole dutch team. Exceptional performance
As a dutchman I'd rather want to forget that match
Was a great video at the start, became a masterpiece when you revealed you’re an arsenal fan. Subd
Im basel fan and omg when Salah was playing for us when we reached the semi finals against chelsea, we always saw videos of those egyptian Moderators going fucking nutssss, it was very funny AND beautiful :)
Basel, bin Gc fan
Help! I recently got into soccerball and I support Fly Emirates FC and Piemonte Calcio and got my wife into soccerball as well but my wife is now obessed with Christian Puligod! All she does is think about him, talk about him. Now she made her bank account bankrupt by paying for reddit awards after Puligod scores a tap in against Barnsley U12s! So fellow lads (is that what you brits say??), what should I do??????
but seriously Pulisic is really good for American Football rn
The only person that can stop him is Manu Sanchez
Trust in Manu
Manu single handedly stopped the ESL
I never thought that I would hear you mention my hometown, Dawsonville, in this video of all places.
Not gonna lie, as a nascar fan as well as a football fan the analogy made me happy.
Man if he had scored that goal in the final I would've gone ballistic 🤯🥳
Same
He was so close but oh well we got the win one of my favourite games ive ever watched COYB
Watching this after his Master Class vs Panama. Absolutely a beast
2nd best American footballer behind the Lord Brad Friedel

what about gyasi zardes
Now he's the first american to win UCL. Wow!

@Waves Kirvoski, when Dortmund won their ucl
I really agree with this video. Unfortunately I can't get proud of being part Irish because you really can't celebrate Ireland losing to Luxembourg and Matt Doherty stumbling up the wing for Tottenham
Luxembourg 💀
Jovan Kirovski was the first American to win the champions league
Im proud to say i was the first people to recognize pulisic in his start of his career at Dortmund and i trust him
SO HYPED LESGOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Your an Arsenal Fan” 😂😂😂 My Condolences 😢
god obviously led me down the wrong path as a young child
If Pulisic scored in that UCL Final then America would have went Mental!
"Oh look at that..... Its SIMP!!!"😅😅😅
damn
My new dream is to see this young core of the USMNT get an acutal good coach and for us to get to the semi final again in 2O26. Along with that I hope more of our boys get the same success and celebration as President Pulisic does. To one day have it not only be the norm but expected of Americans to be signings that are crucial to winning Champions League.
This is the same with us and Pandev. Our only player that has won the UCL from mc not as a sub but as a first 11 player with eto'o
Jovan Kirovski
was first in 1997.
I literally just got into the sport and Im not proud to say I missed out on a lot. I wish I could have played at an early age and did something with it.
And he makes for a very good rivalry
He's alright innit?

America are dark horses for 2026 world cup, so many good young players
Honestly I could see it, idk wtf happened but there was just an explosion in talent in 2020-21
@@Maqwell the german links paying off imo
Lol! Have you seen the England squad? Foden, Mount, Bellingham (17), Sancho, James, Greenwood, Saka, etc, all younger and already better than Pulisic. Get a grip.
@@a-walgames1350 dark horses doesnt mean theyll win it lad, theyll just do better than expected
@@fireboltninja29 Dark horse means they're not one of the favourites but have a genuine chance of winning.
Sorry but the US isn't even in the top 10. France, Belgium, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland, Brazil, Argentina.
I know the US is get a lot better but you'll still only be on the level of nations like Croatia/Czech Republic/Denmark/Mexico.
You need to hope this isn't just a recent trend and is actually the start of football taking off in the US and then maybe you'll have a competitive team down the road. 2026 is just too soon.
Also scrap pay to play, a nation your size should have a huge pool of talent to draw from but you're hadicapping yourselves. This was amuch longer comment than I meant to write. :)
I get this, keylor navas is costa ricas pride and joy
Can you please just appreciate schalke and the bundesliga for giving you Pulisic, Adams, Hoppe, Weston McKennie, ...
I live down south and we all went from calling it Communist Ball to screaming at the top of our lungs for Pulisic in the World Cup
I get what you mean about the conflict. I support Leicester City, and really had mixed feelings when Christian pulisic was bought by Chelsea. Because I hated Chelsea, because I hated how they played under Sari. Now? Go blues.
Might sound crazy but Chris Wood is exactly that for New Zealanders. He's an average premier league striker, but he's by far our best player and someone to look up to.
My representative in the premier league is liverpool's second choice left-back 🤪
Tsmiskas? Or however you say it
@@log-qv3sn Yeah. Tsimikas barely ever plays
As a Liverpool fan we hoped he would be good.
But we haven't seen him be good or bad.
Unfortunately for him hes back up for a guy who never gets injured, never gets red carded, and never gets tired.
We still hope that when the time comes our Greek defender will do us proud when called upon.
''and the forbidden word, soccer''
thank you
>no mention of Ichiro
bro he was EVERYWHERE when I was growing up
But yea I get the conflicting feelings, I'm Mexican and I fucking despise both Real Madrid and Barcelona, still love Hugo Sanchez and Rafa Marquez to death though.
Tbh I never got into baseball, I had heard of the guy but I never saw him as any role model
@@Maqwell LOL dude, Ichiro was the fucking shit. He was fun as hell to watch and it was sad to se him retire, he's worshipped in Japan. Without a doubt the most successful athlete to come from Asian in North American sports. Today though, it's all about Shohei Ohtani as far as Japanese players go. Ohtani is insane and is a favorite for AL MVP.
100% one of the better players in that Chelsea side, and now he's shining for Milan. The US' Starboy 🌟
Claudio Pizarro was the best footballers of our country and I think of him as our own Pulsic. Sure, he might no be the first peruvian to win an UCL, but in recent memory he represented our whole country in the big leagues!
R.I.P. Jovan Kirovski
i was waiting for your cup to tip over and spill 😐
there was nothing in the cup lol
Max Verstappen, Dutch f1 driver as an example?
An American friend told me how he loved playing while in school but he couldn't find an adult club to play for after he finished education. While here in little old Wales, when I finished school I had multiple clubs available to join right on my doorstep. I even got to play semi pro for a couple of seasons for a team who were a mile away from where I live. The MLS really needs to have a promotion and relegation system with the lower leagues, to encourage more clubs to be start up. Why should millionaires be allowed to put a team into the top league when their brand new club hasn't even played a single match? It's really unfair and goes against the sport growing. Why shouldn't a club in the 5th division get that opportunity to play in the top league if they work their way up?
It’s a long and complicated story. Being american myself, i can sum it up as teams look at college players primarily in the US. As a semiprofessional player myself, i have had to go abroad to play. In this case, im currently in England.
He now a UCL winner
but did u find any videos of giroud’s feet
Thoughts on Man U vs Arsenal
clint dempsey is one of my favorit players and i live in denmark
edit: before the euros denmark had christian eriksen as like their main man because he was the only one who was masterclass at that time
ur gonna knock over that mug
I’ve never met another person whose top two sports of reference are football and nascar LMAOOO
Lol like how us Canadians felt when Alphonso Davies was the first Canadian to win the UCL
I thought he was the second.
That gora same about Croatia and Modrić

Just found out your channel, keep up the good work by the way... but, it feels like this identity and identification part is really an American thing. I am from Albania, and we have had good or very good players play all over the world and we are a very small country. I don't think i have ever seen a Albanian support an Albanian to identify with him. Sure, supporting your countryman if they play for your country or not khem khem Xhaka or Shaqiri is one thing. Identifying with them is another. Hell, even race isn't something in our minds when Identifying with a player. Many many people identified with Ronaldinho as some did with Kaka, Del Piero, R9, CR7, Sheva or Zidane.
My point being, you don't need someone from your country or even your race to identify with a player... you need someone who represents the values you seek and the football you like... this you on and off the field.
Either way, not trying to take a superior position, just my 2 cents about this and how strange this sounds to someone from the other side of the world.
agreed
He kinda croatian tho but take him pls we dont need him 😂
He's the LeBron James of soccer. He's already getting compared to Messi and Ronaldo
He is truly the LeBron James of Soccer/Football
Boy Canada did it first 😂😂🇨🇦🇨🇦
What about park ji sung
Or Shunsuke Nakamura
Manor Solomon (Fulham and Shakhtar), Eli Dasa (Vitesse), Yossi Benayoun (Liverpool), Eran Zahavi (PSV), Shon Weissman (Valladolid) and more Israeli players are constantly discouraged from leaving Europe for the sake of their careers, that's how much it means for Israelis to have a footballer representing them in Europe...
Hope lozano becomes a world class player
Doubtful at his age
lozano 😂 if anything maybe marcelo flores he’s still young and really good
Christian Pulisic is Croatia, he has a Croatian citizenship and his Croat name is Kristijan Pulišić, but I don’t minde that he plays for USA, he grown up their, he learned how to play in USA, and he should play for USA and represent them.
South AMERICAN champions league winners right now 😭😭
Son Heung Min not only represents an entire continent, but asians around the world, especially i places like North America and Europe
Technically Jovan Kirovski was the 1st American to win the Champions League, although he didn't play.
The LeBron James Of Soccer
Still waiting for a chinese player to play and win the champions league
I mean he is Croatian but yall can have a good player too
By heritage. But not nationality. He was born in the US.
Why do Americans have to broadcast having a favourite player from their country.
idk pride in country and what not
