As a fan of smaller wheels, I've been watching this one, I'm happy to hear that build quality seems to be good, having a hard time resisting the first batch, didn't do that with the A2, it's been fine (40t's) so far but I'm always a bit cautious. Love the visual plug on the Mini, I ride mine daily! EDIT: deposit paid, fell off the wagon, again...
I'm 64 years old I've been riding the King song 16s for 1 year. And I liked it a lot it's been great. Waiting for my Falcon to get here in the mail it should be still another month
This looks like ET MAX and Extreme got together and had a baby...
I really like how the Falcon looks both build quality wise and spec wise. It seems like a competitor to the v11. I watched the 2cells1pack teardown video of the wheel, it looks remarkably waterproof and it is indeed all metal construction throughout. A really nice offering from begode and it makes me excited to see what they release going forward
Some exciting products are in the pipeline for the upcoming year
Looking forward to mine in a couple weeks 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
noiceeee
I didn't bend the pedal on the ET Max. There is no spoon.
Looks like a fun little commuter!
I can definitely see this replacing my Tesla V2 as my "running errands wheel" lol
Can't wait for the ride video. This looks like a very fun and practical wheel.
Summary: nice wheel but I don't want to break my bones, I will give it to Dawn so she can break hers. 😛. Loved the video. Kudos.
Amazing little wheel right there!! Thanks for the unboxing I feel like I was hands on with the Falcon now
Great video, Marty. Can't wait to see how it rides for you!
Beautiful wheel. Please say rim diameter when talking tyres because of the many strange tyre numbering systems that may not match the advertising material.
As a x 54 year old mechanic we push for industry continuity by only saying a 14 inch rim has a 14 inch tyre. To say otherwise could risk being in support of the crazy number of tyre numbering systems that vary between countries.
Please say rim diameter at least.
That's a interesting tyre tread looks quick and nimble. This is a really handy fun size of wheel.
Thank you for the video! Range test please
Congrats Marty that's the next biggest little thing. Very interested in a 20 mph range test w 50s, should be fun. Ultimately interested in comparing this with an S18 Pro.
Good information, thanks. I'm considering this against the S16 as a commuter wheel for sometime next year. Couple of things though. when I see these small begode wheels in full metal with shrap eges, I can't help but think that if the thing tumbles on me or at someone else at speed it might cause some cutting injuries (and it weights more), it's nice to see they coverd it in fome, though. Also with the full metal, I can't help but think that if you have a fall at speed it might bend the body, since it's a solid piece of metal- then you are replacing the whole wheel, not just a plastic cover. Most important thing is a note of caution, if you read carefully the initial spec sheet from ewheels, you will see that 2800w is not the output from the motor, but controler rated power (I'm not a engineer, but I would wager these are not the same thing). In a more recent specsheet from begode, it rates the power as 1500w, same as the old mcm5 but at 100v.
You may be right regarding the power. I'm sure that it's more than enough for the wheel
Nice intro, thanks.
I like small wheels completely comfortable up till those high 30mph but i do feel like everywherl shoulf be able to hit some washboard roads at 40 without having to worry about cutting out. Not that anyone should be riding like that or that its a completely feasible idea but id feel much more confident knowing i had that sort of headroom with my speed and torque
Hey Marty. The guys at ERiderz here in Australia have permission to sell the Falcon to us Down Under.
Yeah, I'm sure the EWheels restrictions are only for the US
@@ElectricUnicycles No, actually ERiderz had mentioned that they were hoping to speak with Jason about getting permission to have access to the wheel to sell. Maybe he gave it to them. They are friendly with each other according to them
!!!! SO EXCITED!
Thanks Marty, looking forward to your ride review but 900 watt battery would be limiting. 6 pac Gord
I like everything about this EUC except the small 900Wh battery ... that's good for only 15-20 miles, so that equates to max 10 miles radius. As a second EUC its fine, if a little on the expensive side, but if I had the cash it would be on my list.
My ride to work and back is a nice 20 mile round trip and if I can do it on this wheel with the off road tyre I can see me grabbing this one to altenate between my S22. On the ride I very rarely go past 30mph as my first beep is set to 31mph. I think a good speed to ride on the narrow sections is 25 to 28. But yes there is not much overhead and that would have been nice. But everything looks super solid and I like that it comes with great foot plates and pads so you dont have to go and spend more to get going. Also the 5A charger is a plus. Can be a great fun trail wheel where you need tight turns and agility. Oh and the price here in the UK is £1600 and that is worth picking up. But looking forward to your ride. If you done with it ship it my way for some UK riding, just kidding. Keep well.
It's fine that Begode fully entered into the "Metal Era" ;-D. I still notice common Begode problems : 0 paper manual ( remember that the ACM16 had one ! ) and a lot of options in their app are still in chinese.
It's not like they're selling wheels worldwide for 10 years...
cant wait for range and overheat hill test.....
I would love to see a size comparison against the mten4 I've been really interested in this wheel just as a product that would be really good for getting people into it since it checks a lot of boxes for what people want in a wheel. Good range top speed weight and I'm really happy to see modern begode quality is being kept up. I've been considering replacing my mten4 with this as my emergency/ parking lot screw around wheel but considering I recently found out that the mini wedges into my trunk near perfectly I might hold off and look into a faster wheel (gt pro) instead and the mini can become my back up. I agree thou I would ride just about any wheel :3 the new blue kingsong f22 is really nice looking
3:25 ... Thank GOODNESS!!! LOL
This is the new assault wheel to try 😜 . Looking forward to seeing ya guys try the new a2 with suspension. 😮
I thought I was the only one that smells my new wheels 🤣
LOL
We need to arrange a time for you and your son to try this
Hey bud... I finally pulled the trigger and got the v11. Spent 1 hour last night behind couch getting use to the balance. Went out on the road today, took me 3 times to mount it and ride Firstr ride went 10 miles, even some small jumps. Its difficult and I look like a flopping fish on it but I did it and im hooked. I am now in the couch and very sore and tired, especially my legs and abs.
Hey, congrat's on your first riding. Good times ahead.
@ElectricUnicycles I'm already eyeing a bad ass off road wheel. Any ideas. 3500 budget
My back (or is it spelled backe?) and knees are telling me to buy this wheel!
im probably the only guy out here who prefers sand paper nikola pedals lol.
Yes, you are 😆
What’s the exact weight of it? From 1.6.24, in Finland, a PEV weighting more than 25 kg requires insurance and in public roads the speed on for instance e-scooters mustn’t be possible higher than 25 km/h. The weight is taken from the technical specifications given by the factory, removing anything making it lighter is not taken into account.
Check 2cells1pack video. He weighed the components individually. .... The total weight was 24.94kg.
Hi Marty ... 2800w motor and a 900whr battery ... did I hear that correctly? ... my old Nikola 100v had an 1850whr battery and it was a 16" wheel ... why would they put a 900whr battery in a new wheel? Or are those new batteries super efficient? Great video .. always enjoy your un-boxings.
The Nikola is a huge wheel compared to the Falcon. 900wh capacity is all that will fit in this size wheel. I believe its intended purpose is ultra portability with suspension.
Whats the usecase of suspension and little mileage? Driving it to a offload trail. What else?
@@danhle1032 Shopping, errands, leisure fun, etc
I broke my leg tibia Plato fracture last wendsday but I have this on preorder
Sorry to hear that. I hope it was a "simple" fracture and not break.
Get well soon and see you on the road with this new falcon.👍😁
That's shitty. Wish you fast and full recovery!
Tu vends ta roue alors ?
My OG Veteran Sherman won’t automatically stop charging when it hits 100% and when I look at the voltage it goes beyond 100.8 Volts
The battery says 100%
Ant the voltage says 101.2 Volts
You need to use the "Voltage Calibration" function on the front panel. It's all explained in this video: ruclips.net/video/nD0rCxkoBws/видео.htmlsi=IvXpZN0YqIKRXyWc
@@ElectricUnicycles I WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO BUT WHAT PART OF THE VIDEO DID YOU EXPLAIN Voltage Calibration function on the front panel. I want to calibrate but how?
@@DreiSkins101 Very strange that you watched the video but didn't see the Voltage Calibration demonstration. ruclips.net/video/nD0rCxkoBws/видео.htmlsi=5fbIfaN_Fyu61SkN&t=1195
All the first impression Falcon’s have been on street tires- while I love the silence of them, I don’t think it will suit rain riding on mossy roads. I’m hoping to find more raw footage of it before ewheel’s first round comes in. This is 100% replacing the headache S16 Pro I owned for 1.5 months before giving it away
What happened with your s16 pro?
What exactly were your issues with the S16, out of curiosity?
@@ElectricUnicycles BMS error 26 each week after 2-3 charge sessions (firmware updates never fixed them), X frame/ mud guard alignment rubbing, and tire valve hitting the battery boxes. I probably just got a lemon from ewheel's 2nd shipment, but it gave me enough grief to no longer want any new kingsong wheels implementing this software or suspension system
@@bondo31 Bad luck for sure but I totally understand the reluctance to stick with KingSong. They need to move in a new direction.
I did it on my video. It grips well.
You have a 2800 w motor?? I swear mine is 1500...?
I think the 2800watt value is "peak" power. 1500 is probably correct
@@ElectricUnicycles ah, gotcha. Thanks man
Hey Marty, im having trouble deciding between the $1300 t4 pro and the $1600 falcon. Could you come up with reasons why one would choose one over the other?
The Falcon's primary appeal is its small size and suspension. The T4 has a more capable suspension and can be ridden much more aggressively and far longer.
55 pounds. Gotta like that!
Is the motor really 1000W? Gracias por el video!!
2800-watts
@@ElectricUnicycles Similar to the commander that has 3,000w? it seems impossible
@@olgac9121 I think its "peak" power of 2800-watts
So it's an ET Min
Raffle a used wheel you don't want so I can win something please 😅
T4 Pro or Falcon? Thx
These wheels are totally different. The T4 is much more powerful, longer range, etc. The Falcon is for someone who needs a very small wheel with suspension and is OK with its limited range.
