How to convert string to numeric variable in SPSS without lossing data (Amharic)

ከሌሎች ሶፍትዌሮች import ሲደረግ የvariable type string ይሆናል። ወደ numeric ለመቀየር ስንሞክር ደግሞ ዳታውን ያጠፋብናል። ይህ ቪዲዮ ለዚህ ችግር መፍትሄ ይዞ መጥቷል።

Hello, Dear Melaku ! What you are doing is life saving for many of us who struggles with data analysis using statistical software. Now a question for you, please. It is not that complex. My question is , which data are we supposed to test the reliability using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, is it the piloted data or the actual data collected?
