Nice tip with the pad, I have one of those edger tools in my truck, but as you know being a pro they are worthless for painting lines on a wall-to-ceiling they leave to much of a gap you have to freehand cutting in, so I never use my edger tool and now I have a use for it LOL, I Never thought of that your pro painter buddy in the states. Thanks for the vids keep em coming. Ken
I had to paint a school and they had all these small partitions that I had to paint. The partition was a box frame will a insert and just a small gap between the two, the insert was held in place by brackets. Because there was so many to do i was looking for a quicker way to paint in between the two surfaces and that's when I came up with the idea of the paint pads. They have become a vary handy tool. I think you are referring to the posts the boards are screwed to, the choice is yours if you paint them or leave them. Don't forget to Like, Share and Subscribe.
I did check the video and I did drop a little not a lot on to drop sheet, you will also notice I did change the way I was holding it. Sometimes you can't win as it will drip from either point, the trick is not to dip the roller too far in to the paint. Don't forget to Like, Share and Subscribe.
You can try, it will depend on how rough sawn it is as it does vary. Really rough sawn would just rip the pad to shreds. Don't forget to Like, Share and Subscribe.
Maybe try a different brand, I know some deep based can be thicker then white but paint shouldn't be like water. Whites are always harder to cover because they have no tint in them. Don't forget to Like, Share and Subscribe.

Dont you have to add primer to bare wood?
Some exterior paints are self-priming so no need to prime but it may need an extra coat.

Great video. I didn’t see you make any specific efforts on the Timbers that we behind the dog boards holding them up? What the best option for those?

Clever. Does this work on the edges of fencing i.e rough sawn?

Sorry can't remember brand.

I like your videos.. but all that shagging around with a roller really use a bigger brush. There are only dog boards m8. Slap it on
They might be just dog boards to you but they are still seen by the customer.
