Wonderful piece! Loved working with these talented individuals. Very fun game to play, especially if you had the joystick peripheral which handled diagonals much better than the basic 3DO controller.
I remember playing this game on a demo DVD on Windows 95. I think the CD was called Windows Game Sampler 95. I was born in 92, so I would've been very young.
Regarding source code: yeah. That has been something we in the 3DO homebrew community has been looking for for some time. Rebecca Heineman released the code to Doom and may release the Wolf3D source as well. The source for Killing Time exists as well but the license is still active and used. Rebecca is part of our community which is nice and she hopes to work on Doom and/or Wolf3D again at some point if not new stuff too. I believe she has a complete hardware dev kit but we have been working on making that less necessary by building new tooling.
Awesome! Fantastic! Interviews from all the developers of this amazing game! Thanks a lot for this material. This is one of my favorite games on the 3DO and I have always dreamed of hearing an interview with the history of the game. I am a fan from Russia and I am glad that there are subtitles in Russian. We are waiting for new videos from you, especially looking forward to material on the games Gex and Killing Time!))) Thanks again for your hard work!
One of my favorites as a kid and now. Myself and one of my friends actually had a 3DO in our neighborhood, when we were growing up. This was one of our to go games. Glad to see come content on it!
@@JordanHJ came back to finish the last quarter of the video, and say that Panasonic had a karaoke streaming device and US West hinted towards having complete prototype 3do set top boxes that were supposed to go out to testers. Plus they had working modems and PCMCIA cards before the ideas were all scrapped and the hardware tossed. So the idea of buying online was not as far fetched as it seems. Again, great video. Your questions really got their memory working and putting out a lot of great information. I hope you can do more 3do stuff in the future!
There was a vhs I watched as a kid which used the captain quazar song video but it was over dubbed with something else. The video was called "imagine it!" And I've been looking for it for years. Anyone know anything about this?
oops just read the dub part, yeah guess not That video is the best audio/video quality of the Quazar rap I've found so far though, it's on youtube if you did want to check it out.

kudos on the interview(s)
Brilliant! 💓💓💓
Do you think they would want to join the 3DO homebrew development discord? We'd love to have them.
They all have the link to this video so I'm sure they'll see this comment if they're interested :)
@@JordanHJ thank you for joining. No pressure on them to join but they are welcome to. I'm bb2019kris

@@JordanHJ he's probably Brazilian. "TMJ" is a slang to "we're together". Don't know why he wrote that, however. Lol
Oh lol, thanks for saying
