I always felt that MIRRORS EDGE deserved more love. It’s a lost gem of the PS3/360 era and I would love to see you do a “Making of” video of this wonderfully unique and influential game.
This game was such a hit with me as a teenager who didn't really grow up with any kind of passion for fighting games as I wasn't any good at them, it was fun strategic and the platforming and 🎯 levels were a godsend for someone like me who loved playing games for hours trying to accomplish one goal. Thank you for providing some backstory to it as it's the only video I've found giving any.
I love your “making of” game series. I am an amature gaming historian and I think what you, and others like you, do is so important. I’m happy I came across your channel and I will be sharing it with friends. Keep up the excellent work!
Great video. Super Smash Bros. was the second console game i played, and first console game i fell in love with. The original is kind of a beautiful cartridge, and its fun to accidentally have it on me when i visit someone with a 64
@JordanHJ I'm actually surprised. You managed to not only condense to much amazing info in such a short time, but the intro talking about Kojimas other works and how he built his team and vision for MGS was really personal and enjoyable to watch and listen. Good work, lad!
@christiangottsacker6932 Thank you for those kind words! I've just started a patreon as I want to produce a lot more of these kind of things in the future, with higher quality too!
hey I just found out this video. it is insane the amount of work that went through making it, it should be a 1m+ view video. really good work my friend.
I'm happy to see you back on the scene making new videos. I just want to give you some advice though. Your "Making of street fighter 2" video is, i.m.o.; your crowning achievement in terms of RUclips video production. You should use that example as a template for your future videos. Here's a couple of reasons why that video stands out... firstly, you sounded enthusiastic when narrating the video, secondly; you had great music and sound effects to keep your viewers attention onto the video.
Thanks for watching, this one has music and sound effects too :) In terms of sounding enthusiastic, I tend to talk fast when I get enthusiastic, so I have to slow down or people complain haha! But thanks for the feedback, will take it on board
@@JordanHJ Jordan, your next making of/retrospective video should be about Donkey Kong 64. In my opinion DK64 is a Land Mark title in gaming because it transcended the amount of content that people thought was possible to pack into a single game at the time.
Does anyone have suggestions for future games or topics they'd like to see me cover?
You should add the information about Smash Remix 64 modpack, the very well Smash modding expansion right aside of Project M.
Remix is a great expansion, looking alike being made by sakurai on the original
Thanks I'll take s look at it!
The making of Crash Bandicoot or Tomb Raider

I thought the logo looked the way it did because it looks like a circle smashed into four pieces
Yeah it does look like that
I wasn’t sure if we’d see you back or not. Keep it up! You definitely have a talent for these types of videos!
Thank you!
