Really good videos, the vibe is so positive from you two....I'm doing the Ha Giang Loop and Cao Bang on 15th October 2022, hopefully the weather is good, me and my mate are on the bikes for 7 days.
Epic. Yeah I've wanted to do the big loop since my first trip to Hanoi in 1993. I thought the views going up to Dalat were spectacular but way up North, the views are mind blowing. I would guess some of those towns up there in the sticks there might not actually have internet. It will be interesting to see the impact of the new satellite internet networks and if it makes a difference in the truly rural areas.
Yes dalat is also very beautiful too! Honestly with my cellphone I pretty much had service 80% of the time which was quite suprising. There wasn't a moment during our 4 day trip through the loop where we were concerned about data connection. So over the years I think they have instablished better satelites in the area to connect the rural areas with the rest of the country/world! Thanks so much for watching Mal, hope you stick around for many more adventures!
i'm a vietnamese, i immigrated to us in 2019 and i haven't been back to vietnam since then. seeing your video makes me miss my cmotherland sooo much, hopefully i can get back there this summer
Magnificent views. I like to visit but I am scared of the steep hills and narrow roads. At my current age, I don’t think that I can handle this adventure.
You can rent from QT motorbikes! They’re so so helpful! We rented from Cao Bang Ecohomestay as we drove all the way from Cao Bang, but I’ve used QT before and they’re amazing!
Hey Sydney! So we went during feb and although it was dry (for the most part) it was freeeezing cold. Frances reccomends you do it during sept/oct/nov as it is warmer with blue skies but can also be raining more often during that time!
No issues ! Been here for 2.5 years. I don’t fly over peoples heads or by airports or a busy airspace! Generally out in the wilderness there minimal risk !
Hahah I wish but just a hassle to carry when you got so much camera gear 😅 plus I think if I brought my skateboard I defs would’ve died and flew off a cliff or something
Thanks a ton for watching Ben, I really appreciate the support! Honestly I've seen about 80% of the things to do in Vietnam and BY FAR Ha giang has been one of the most beautiful spots! I've never had my jaw drop like I did here in Vietnam!
OH MY GOD! So glad to see that the accident was minor. You guys ARE crazy people💪My heart was pounding watching you navigating the nerve-racking driving conditions😱 And, the drop on one side of the loop!?!😱Oh, how great it is to be young and fearless🤩
hahah i was just mentioning to Frances that some of the videos the road do look really scary with small barriers stopping you from flying over a cliff LOL. Thanks for watching Lee much appreciated :)!
You guys awesome. Ha Giang so beautiful. Love it. Thanks for sharing. I hope to meet you sometime in June so we can hang out :)
Hopefully we will still be here by then! We both plan to go home for a bit then come back :) but let me know man!
I am height-phobia, I can’t drive on the hillside. Be safe and enjoy your adventures.
Hahah man slow and steady wins the living race on these roads 😂 good thing I’m okay with heights! Thanks Johnny.
Can’t believe we crashed 😂 what a twist to the day! Glad it wasn’t bad though
haha of course on the last day and on the last section of the drive back to ha giang !!
Good to see you guys are ok….lots of obstacles and challenges along the way is what makes it an experience worth remembering 👍
Lot of ❤ from the Great state of California
Mucho gracias 🤘🏼 love from your Canadian and Scottish friends in vietnam ☺️
Excellent you made it through in this condition and a small incident. Love your video❤

@@TonyOi Good to know. Thanks for taking the time to document the remote trip. Cheers -
The road looks so scary.... even look scarier when the night fall. 😬 but its beautiful valley... 👍👍
omg yes so beautiful but at night can be terrifying with no street lights and a huge valley! Thanks for watching Daisy :)

Hope to keep seeing you on the channel more often :)
Hi, I loved the video! Are there many stretches of dirt like this without asphalt?
Magnificent views. I like to visit but I am scared of the steep hills and narrow roads. At my current age, I don’t think that I can handle this adventure.
You can do it in a car :) some of the narrow roads in the video were roads that were off the main hwy!
another great video dude! Where can I rent the motorbike when I'm in Ha Giang?
You can rent from QT motorbikes! They’re so so helpful! We rented from Cao Bang Ecohomestay as we drove all the way from Cao Bang, but I’ve used QT before and they’re amazing!
Yep
well done u guys.
I didnt know that vietnam has so many beautiful spots
thanks so much for coming along our adventure with us. Hope it was informational yet entertaining!!
I hope to do this loop someday in the future. What is the best time of the year to do this trip?
Hey Sydney! So we went during feb and although it was dry (for the most part) it was freeeezing cold. Frances reccomends you do it during sept/oct/nov as it is warmer with blue skies but can also be raining more often during that time!
@@TonyOi Yes, I will around that time for sure
I see you've got some great helmets. Did you rent them with the bike? Or are they yours?
Can you do a video on how you edit your videos and colors and all that plsssssss. Equipments as well! 🙏🏼
Great vids, just wondering did you encounter any issue flying drones there? Do you have to get a permit for it?
No issues ! Been here for 2.5 years. I don’t fly over peoples heads or by airports or a busy airspace! Generally out in the wilderness there minimal risk !
Which month did you go to Ha giang?
Should have brought your skateboard with you on this trip :)
Hahah I wish but just a hassle to carry when you got so much camera gear 😅 plus I think if I brought my skateboard I defs would’ve died and flew off a cliff or something
Have you ever seen this guy? Definitely don’t try this at home…noooo….

Good series, though I'm not sure the trip is worth it
Thanks a ton for watching Ben, I really appreciate the support!

Yeah it does look dangerous. Glad they’re ok.
You guy using drone?
Haha yes !
Name of the mountain: Mã Pí Lèng(not Lane), it is local name.
Ahh thank you for this correction :)
Hopefully the government spend more money to improve the road to make if safer for the travellers!!
It’s pretty safe along 70% of it. Off the main Hwy can be dangerous if your not an experienced driver
